    It's normally recommended to put weight on the control arm before torquing it, that is jacking up the suspension as if it were sitting on the ground before tightening !

      @@RBTheMechanic was a little different afterall! Had the bolts in the back also holding antiroll bar, but almost same, really tight places for nuts. When i shot them with airgun had to be careful the wrench on the nut tried to turn against tie rods on both sides. Also replaced my drivers side driveshaft while at it, bearings were shot

    I have a 05 Tundra trying to replace the struts but the bottom bolt is way too close to the CV axle I cant figure out a way to remove it in risk of tearing the CV boot do you jave any suggestions? BTW great channel and very informative and thank you for doing the things you do to help us.

    Nice video. Was there a control arm bushing preload required?

      No they just were preinstalled

      @@RBTheMechanic The guy was asking if you should had the weight of the car loaded on the arm before tightening the bolts. And yes. You should have done that and torque the bolts as for the manufacturer specs.

      Ok im now great full for your vid mate i just got a 2007 phase 2 volvo v50 2.0 D and it needs the work done so you just saved me the hassle of taking it to the mechanic but can i use a pry-bar since i dont have the fork
