Don "The Dragon" Wilson nació el 10 de septiembre de 1954 en Illinois, Estados Unidos.
Comenzó a entrenar Kung Fu del Estilo Pai Lum Tao desde niño, y luego empezó a entrenar Kickboxing y logró once títulos mundiales en este deporte.
En los años 90 y principios de 2000 se convirtió en un astro del cine de artes marciales con películas como: Ring of Fire, Bloodfist, Out of Blood, etc.
