Got my practice Ged test Tuesday. Been glued to these ged videos for a week. Trying to get my ged before the year is over so I can start college classes in January. I’m 35 and been out of school since 2004. Pray for me y’all

Watch the July one and our original GED Math 2024 video. Learn the skills that is required to solve the question, NOT the question and answers. Example: if you have 2x + 3x, don't just learn that it is 5x. Understand why it is. so that if you have 3x + 2x - 3x, you know what to do.
If you take that approach you'll pass (NO GUARANTEES). There are many other factors that affects passing a test. Making mistakes, time management, confidence, and more

When you say formula will be given? Do you mean the formula would come written near a question or formula would need to be located in a given formula sheet?
@@ambereen777 formula is mostly on the formula sheet. There are few exceptions

At 39:02 how are you multiplying the 33 over 60 with 100? Same with 1:04:33?
at 4:56 why didn’t the F-32 get divided by 9/5? why’d it get moved to the left? is it because it’s a fraction and needs flipped? would you divide it if it was a regular number?
It was divided. It's just another way to write it. If you have (F - 7)/3. You can write it as (1/3)(F - 7). The 3 is a regular number.
so if you have ( F - 7)/ (3/2). Then you can also write it as (2/3)(F - 7)
It said the formulas are provided while you are taking the exam, is that true?

You should at least have an idea of where you stand. If you can solve most of the questions here and you did well in the GED Practice Test, and you really don't care about how high your score is, then you can just wing it.
If not, then study.

IF I NOT MISTAKEN 1:17:55, THE correct answer for question 49 SHOULD BE supermarket A isn't it?IN QUESTION 49 said that 15% discount for over $ 100 so, the total discount for supermarket A should be 30% because it said 200$.Therefore SUPERMARKET A=60$ DISCOUNT AND SUPERMARKET B=40$ if i made a mistake forgive me
I don't know the question itself seems ambiguous and I think the video also got the answer wrong, it says 15% discount for anything OVER $100, so I think the discount is calculated as 100x0.15 since the original $100 are not OVER 100, does that make sense? I can try to explain better if you need help, but the correct values should be 185 for A and 160 for B.
I understand your way of thinking. The discount is not applied to the first 100 dollars. so If you buy something for $120, you will get a discount on only the $20. not the $100.
