Good looking out G.
king!!!!
I am only 17 years old and I prefer 90's Hip hop. The Vibe, the clothes, the Djing. It's better than today's Rap music
More soul, less plastic....
34 and happy to see this comment!
Have a nice day and an awesome living =]
Thanks you too
This is bullshit it's 2 completely different era, music is constantly evolving
If you say this only to sound cool then it's a fail
MR UNION im 17 too n 90s music been my favorite thing to listen to for years now, wish hip hop was deeper like how it was at that time, some rappers today are makin it better tho like polo g for example
ok boomer
Mid 90's New York radio was magical. What a time to be alive.
I live in AZ and during that era.... I would have someone record sway and king tech on Friday nights and mail them to me every week Lol. The best. I still have all those cassettes.

Yup the late 80s (as a kid) and the 90s (as a teenager) I lived in the best era of music.
Yes Indeed.
Back before all music is controlled and goes through filters to make sure it keeps people retarded
When I say to people "I love hip hop" I mean this kinda stuff. It's a phrase that refers to so much but to me this is the essence of hip hop.
Yo I'm glad I read this ,same
Scruffy P Never die 🖤👌🏻✨
Scruffy P agree!
Wow no one asked but good thought tho
That's what's up. #GoldenEra
I've simply never heard a playlist with as impeachable a caliber of taste as yours. This is exquisite raw pure beautiful Hip Hop. You have extremely high taste.
thanks for real
For real ..true
Fact.
FACTS
I needed this playlist! I couldnt play 3 songs without hearing some negative bullshit before i found this gem.
I searched 'Underground hop' ... This was the first on the list. I NEVER get this lucky. 2 thumbs up, boss. Peace!
@@officialjmelo exactly, fam!
💪💪
The worst thing about these songs is they are never on Spotify
The underground stays and wants to stay underground.
I'm working on a big playlist with lost of my fav 90s underground tracks if ur interested ill upload soon@@caidenregan6737
if you have a PC you can actually download the youtube mp3 and put it on spotify, then synchronize on your phone with the same wifi. I have done it multiple times
@@colinleder5683 that's what I did
@@asthereal1502 same 👍🏼 discovered this "feature" only a few weeks ago
This is what I call music. No mumbling. No flexing. Just pure rap
fr bro
90'S Hip Hop was so great you can find hours worth of tracks you'd never heard before and every one of them is straight fire!
Born July 1979, teen in the mid-90s and still to this day my music is still raw packed with slick rhyme delivery and piano trumpet beats decades later. The 90's will truly be missed, but not by me!!!
I'm July 1979 too !!!😊😉😅😆
this image of Pete Rock in the basement just sets off such a vibe, you can feel the engery in that room whether it be working on the albums with CL Smooth or INI. that SP1200 the work horse of the 90s. Boombap forever, great mix man!
It's a grown man sport!!
That feeling when a vibe feels right just has no price and is one of the best human feelings in this universe. A familiar place in infinity. Thanks for the 90's for capturing this, thanks to Nicola for being the conveyor. Nothing but gratitude. Peace, passion, fun and love xoxo
Ahhhh, a fellow frog 🐸 Hey there patriot, great minds think alike, this playlist is legendary
@@gregsherman6197 Hahaha yeh man frogs are everywhere, cool little creatures. Playlist sure is fire. Keep spreading good vibes mate :)
The best therapy in the world is constructing beats. Then the lyrics are like overcoming.
If I hear you clearly, that is beautiful words
@@georgehurray3721 For real man, for real (a message that travelled to time to reach you)
im actually a 2000s kid myself born in 2006 but something about 90s hip hop just speaks to me. i love it, much love from west auckland nz
lol
2021...and it still sounds like the best hip-hop era ever.
because it was the only hip hop era.
Man, that In Baltimore song by K Mack is going instantly into my top 10 hip-hop tracks ever. Brilliant. Thanks so much for what you do for us!
Right that beat is so soothing. I remember hearing a biggie freestyle years ago with him rapping to this beat. Always wanted to know what song it was
There are still great lyricists these days, but man 90s hip hop is incredible and was a turning point. RIP those who left us before 2000 even arrived.
*Jesus Christ is Lord & He’s coming soon. Don’t take that vaccine* ‼️💉
90's hip hop the best era gee
Same with beats yo me
2020...
Well done! huge hip hop nerd and heard some new sounds here. Thanks for this contribution and helping dig up legends who have been buried
This was back when me and my homys would rewind certain parts of the songs to fully learn and enjoy the complex system of lyrical raps to the hiphop beat
Those were the days
I did the same thing when I got back to Fla after being in ni for the summer. Sharing with my friends what hip hop really was.
I’m 19 but have been hearing old school hip hop from time to time ever since i was a kid whether it was from video games, tv shows or from my friends, i truly feel like i have a 90’s soul! Everything about the 90’s intrigues me, the fashion, the music, the cars, the ways of life, literally everything feels right
bro me too, im 19 and love 90s stuff
Same here
im 15 and im into these undergrounds. Everytime EVERYTIME I open youtube, i see only videos with vinyls as their thumbnails.
i cant even find words to define such beatiful, smart and astonishing lyrics and sounds, heats up my heart with such amazing art
Presence of the past song gives me chills everytime I play it. Reggie was an artist in every sense of the word.

Man, nothing worth skipping on this playlist. Sure know how to put together a classic playlist.
This thing randomly popped up 4 months ago, since then I am listening to it all day. What a mix of a great artist, true masters of rhyme.
31:14 Oh man, they saw the FUTURE !

erico.💀 FRRR I would expect this dude to be searching for Disney Channel mixtapes
Max yo 😂😂
Born in 96 and still amazed by all the heat from the 90s especially non mainstream hip
Hop
Seriously, knowing what hip hop's become only makes these fresh beats fresher.
this is it. One of the first video that made me spiral into listening to all the underground hip hop I would find on youtube.
the mix i need when i skate
The mix I need when I spraypaint.
Mix I need when I`m getting money with calisthenics
the mix I need when I dance breakdance? noooooo.
biglex785 that’s good money 💰
bro what are u saying shut up man
These 14 songs are better than all the songs played on the radio combined 💯
ua-cam.com/video/uZ9cGeF2P4A/v-deo.html
I found moody, gritty n grim hiphop 90s a reality to the sublime emotiveness of the mind. Awakening i always found melancholy the true inner beauty of awakening. These true hiphop artists told a story. A message to succumb to your environment or grow from it. The choice is yours. Now todays trash crap is repetitiveness.. Materialism, consumerism. That creates fear, ignorance n hypocrisy.
you're so right! I couldn't explain it better
Bruh. That Truth.
Check out Bronx artist D.o as he bring back that vintage punchline trap bars follow me on ig @dopeboydo s/o everybody overseas who been showing love 🗽🔥🔥🔥 ua-cam.com/video/gF6ttT_Ghd4/v-deo.html
I'm tired of hearing "nigga" and "bitch" in almost every second word of hip-hop songs, and also shitty lyrics about how much money someone has or how they got one up on their "haters". It's self indulgent bullshit that's saturated the genre and bored the tits off me for years.
It was fine back when NWA or Public enemy were doing it, but it's old hat now.
I want to hear about stories and personal experiences that mean something. I really dig this mix becasue they seems to be saying something and I really like the more low-fi production.
This is why I strayed far away from hip hop since my teens. Glad to be tuning into this, reconciled with hip hop. The mainstream shit clouds the good stuff too much. Pity.
Am halfway through my first listen...gotta say this is brilliant! Laid back, classy beats and top quality mc’s with a nice old school vibe.
Wow, you really went thru the crates from some of these gems!!! K Mack - BALTIMORE, Heavy track...
This is so dope. Brings me back to the day sitting on the corner chillin. This so well done
You help sow the seeds of greatness. Thank you for this 🎵
Dope beats, love it. Has proper soul and good feeling, thanks man for putting it together
I’m 22 years old but i’ve been listening to old school rap for over 5 years and can say I 100% prefer this over todays rap. So much more authentic
Junk today doesn't mean or sound like anything but junk. It's not even to be compared to this
Right?
Old school is not dead in 2021. RIP DMX one of the greats 😥
You can't kill energy brother.
