@@harrisp584 I hope so. Brings joy and laughter in times of isolation and sadness.
In a couple of years to come when this is all over. I will tell my children; This is the classic hip hop, I would be listening to during isolation.
They will say: "Shut up Dad, you're old."
Very creepy since it's isolation
So inspiring 😳👌

This music takes me way back in time to the world that doesn't exist anymore
nope. We far removed
The world any human has remembered is always gone seconds after experiencing. In hindsight alone we can appreciate and miss what we interpreted as trials and tribulations. Your brain remembers the best and worst of each thing, often not the whole entire reality.

It was fun but don't know about all that lol
Probably one of the best mixes of this genre I've ever heard. Every track is a straight banger, and I cant stop listening. Mad props.
Listen to Debonair P Blends series there's 19 of them and they're all dope!
Go on Nicola Armelin channel. Plenty of dope mixs over there too ! Enjoy my man.
yo if anyone creates a spotify playlist of these tracks let me know! peace
Man, i'm in awe, in the basement sipping my Tito's going back, thanks my brother for the mix
First 10 minutes....yeah this shit is tight, and it pops
This is dope and raw af! 👌🔥🔥🔥💯💯Brings back old memories from the 90's.. Thank you!
That Citizen Kane & Down To Erf beat is very nice! Super chill and the snares hit hard. Reminds me a bit of Mobb Deep's "Hell on Earth".

Better than anything you'll hear on the current airwaves. This play list made me feel proud to come up during this time.
Straight up
True that 💯
Fantastic music.. Still criminally underrated
this makes me appreciate being born in this time to listen to all this good music so easily. This stuff would have been difficult to get a hold of I imagine
I HATE THAT EVERYTHING RECYCLES EXCEPT HIP HOP ! PEACE KING!
With 1.5million views at the time of this writing, these tracks are rising from the past and underground right up to the surface.
some of them aren't even underground anyway, artifacts for example had two albums on a label that was far from underground, and they made the charts too
Game repressing Game. Real OG's- even those that many haven't heard of- they set the bar. The Real Real.
6.1 million now my boy!!
7.2million now (totally not from me listening to this on repeat for a whole week)
This playlist is perfect, been listening to it over and over the last couple of days and i'm not even the biggest hiphop fan to begin with but i'm starting to look into more of this stuff
Pure example of how the MC is almost a percussionist, laying it on like a rhythm section. Sick mix, no adverts- thanks 🙏
looking thru these comments makes me appreciate hip-hop so much more...
crazy how the voices of the oppressed/underground became an international force with the ability to bring people together from all over the world
And movements, bboying is larger intl. than it ever was here
Man sometimes i´d wish life could stay like this forever.
Thanks for putting this collection together. You’ve opened my eye to many new artists.
The last decade of the 90s was an explosion in creativity particularly in music, especially rap and grunge.
Pretty sure there was no last decade of the 90's, since the 90's was a decade.
Stumbled on this by accident after listening to Queen Latifah first album. We can thank Corona for one thing...it's given us all time to listen to and find REAL hip hop again 🔥🔥💪

To be honest, i've always been a heavy metal kinda guy when it came to music, rap/hip hop has never really been my thing. But I gotta say, I turned this on while taking a walk and it completely changed my whole perspective on the genre, I discovered an entire separate world of great music that I was completely overlooking for so long. Some absolute gems here, thank you! 👍
My advice to you is have it All. 🎼. All of it. 💕💕💕🎼🎁
Yo fr, underground late 80's/early 90's hip-hop/rap truly is something else
And how they use syllables to emphasize beats/create one overtop is truly insane
The opposite from singing note
Plus the usage of internal, syllabic, double entendres and all these particular things found in poetry slam is what kills me
Often the quality of speech and dialogue is unparalelled
Damn
Farfetched from the usual carach angren, old opeth and belphegor i'm used to
you might want to check one of older eminems music

This came up randomly and I’m glad, I haven’t heard of anyone in this playlist and it’s seriously refreshing, all of these are great
"Laid Back" by Big Tabb... What a flow, what a beat, what a sound... This is never gonna come back.
Yep I'm lovin' that one too...but then it flips to an even colder track Stressfield Days :)
I’m bouta enjoy this next 2 hours, I started out my hip hop journey with the 80-90s hip hop so this is up my alley
Ive never heard of god father don but this guy is easily the most slept on.
He’s a legend in the underground, check his work with the cenobites
He's a criminally slept on legend like Percee P, Mister Voodoo, Ras Kass etc
I fuck with it catchy asf
I've been jamming to these mixes since you released them. Absolutely flawless track choice, thank you for keeping this music alive. Much love

Frankly speaking, this playlist is so good I never made it further than to Citizen Kane - Elements of Mind. Today I'm coming back and stop at J-Force, cannot pass this track, constantly replaying this song. This song is soooo good.

One of the best underground track lists that I've seen. Each one of them is a gem
I never leave a comment. But just want to say thank you to the curator and to all the artists in this playlist. It's the perfect rotation for crushing some work.
I don't know how these groups were all underground!!! Straight fire, this is the 90s 100%. Thank you for uploading these jams.
The industry where people get fame was never about actual talent unless one they could exploit. It’s underground because it’s real raw and inspires. They want Satan in everything and hip hop isn’t about that.
The correct way to start this compilation. The legend that is Godfather Don.
I always feel like i'm in heaven or at pure ease whenever I listen to this specific era of music.
These artists deserve credit..I bump gems like this all day and people ask me whats that I tell them. Put up a list to honor the artist if not it will be lost in time!
Didnt even put the photograph who took the photo

2,6,11,12 - fantastic beats and raps. Great playlist
Best mix I've found so far. This is real I am old this takes me back to the days of real hip hop. The kids appreciate this too bumping still in 2021
And THIS is why most dope artists stayed underground! 💯🔥🔥🔥

90' golden age of Hip-Hop ... I miss this music. Thanks for absolutely amazing mix
I used to be a metalhead, I played mostly hardcore, death metal, black metal, but it was this mixtape that became my guide to the whole hip hop culture. Thanks dude!

This just took me back to 90s Bronx, me and my friends rolling blunts and hotboxing the car while parked. You can practically smell the piff smoke coming off these tracks.
Thanks for uploading this. Just when I had thought I had heard all the classics from the 90s. Best time in hip hop.
The technique and flow within these old classic MC's... Boy shut up... Slaps!!!!
Nothing compares to 90's Underground Hip Hop. Especially from NYC.
Had No.18 on a mixtape when I used to drive to Law School each morning in 96 - what a beautiful flow, sunshine, traffic, used to rap law cases and statements to revise on my way in. Reminds me of also of some serious Tanzanian pum I enjoyed that summer too. Good memories.

Ahhh.... I do recall the time when I CAN enjoy listening to Hip Hop. Thank you!
one of the best oldschool playlists i ever heard, ty very much :)
This what hip hop and rap needs. This type of smooth, focused, and controlled aggression that just flows beautifully. I don't know if this is just a east coast style of the genre but I really like how urban this style is.
east coast rap is more smoother and atmospheric than west one
definitely east coast. east coast do the best hip hop.
@@kenwkls6392 aint no way you listen to west coast g funk and think its not smooth and atmospheric
both are great but I'm gonna have to go with west coast by a little
@cognus3372 nah, not too keen on the guitar sound in funk. I prefer the hard-core rawness from East Coast. The drum patterns and the bounce. There's not really any boom bap in the west coast. Although I do like that Sam sneeds "recognise" track. Even ras kass and xzibits old stuff was alright.
