Tour of My Rain Bike

Quick tour of my Rain Bike, a 1972 Motobecane Grand Record that I've set up with a 3-speed hub and fenders for riding in the rain. A very nice bike that proves a bicycle doesn't have to be shiny and pretty to be a lot of fun to ride!
I purchased this bike as a frame/fork. Added most of the rest myself (except for those brake levers).
I've done several double centuries on this bike!

Just saw this video. I like how you have set this bike up with fenders and hub gears - I might have kept the cog- for riding in the rain. Nice setup.

Followed your comment on another youtube video about LA-29 Nike Base. I lived in Rowland Hts in the mid '70s. As i write this i have a 1970's era yellow Motobecane Grand Touring. I'm jealous of the Novex lugs you have. Mine are simple and plain. Best to you on your PBP adventure. That's a hell of a ride

I had the same frame, 10 speed. Nice riding bike
