- In this video, I tell you what to do if your car gets towed. Nobody wants to go back to where they parked their car and find that nothing is there, but if this happens, your car was likely towed to a towing lot. I tell you the steps that you should follow, whether you parked in the wrong spot or not! Make sure to take pictures of all of the signs, parking spots, and anything else that is significant about where you parked!

What if your car was parked on a private property and left there for 3 days. Rightfully towed or not? No signs on premises.

Towed from "reserved" online order pickup. There was No sign reading " unauthorized towing zone" in front of the parking spot or within 25 feet of my car parked. I am a new employee of the store. I was on the clock.
What if a radom person decided it would be funny to have your car towed for no reason....and i have been parking in the same spot for over a year daily. And no its not a tow zone, its an actual parking space.

If you're parked at a business that you're not doing business with then you're trespassing and can be towed.
No parking signs are not required by law on anyone's Private Business property but they are allowed to be put there so people that work there and patronize there will still know what space is not to block but in the United States is it illegal to park at property that you don't own and are not currently patronizing and the owner of property can always have trespassers towed and or arrested.
@@ottotater2787 thank you for this valued information. It is good to know how is the system works. But in some cases owners are not contacting towing companies, they are surveiling on they own, which is illegal . How to separate these two cases ?
@@deng3028 That’s not illegal. They don’t have to call the towing company.
@@ottotater2787 You are not correct. If you are in the car, truck or van, they can't tow you. It is illegal to tow a vehicle with someone inside. States towing laws vary by state, but I believe every state will not allow towing with someone in the vehicle.

The paperwork to fight this extortion is a nightmare. I’m on step 2 of taking pictures like mad of where it was towed today. Predatory business towed my car while I was a customer there because I dared step next door, yes next door, to take a drink and come back to it gone. Scumbags.

My daughter went to the store and when she was done buying items as she tried leaving her car would not start the worker said it would be ok she told her the tow would come and get it tomorrow because her tow truck company was closed but the other worker called and had it towed so wrong and that woman is hatful and looks like a drug addicted

If your car gets towed the second thing you need to do is realize that you're a ignorant person and Park in inappropriate places.
I live next to a church so I see cars get towed pretty much every single day because they think that the lot they want to go to being full somehow justifies them parking in a different lot.
If your parking in a lot somewhere other than the business you're patronizing then you're trespassing and parking illegally because somebody else owns the this lot. I was a delivery driver for 3 years in downtown Atlanta and I have never once in my life parked illegally because there's no excuse for such lack of thinking or general mental ability.
If you park in a lot that you or the business you are patronizing today doesn't own then you deserve to be towed.
if you're stupid enough that you need a sign to tell you not to do something then you're one of these people that is stupid enough to drive in the wrong lane unless there's a sign that says keep right except to pass! Keep right except to pass is still always the law in every state in the United States because it's Federal driving requirement but if you're stupid enough to think that speed limits don't exist where you can't see a sign or the lane usage laws don't exist where there is not a keep right except to pass sign didn't you're doomed to always have problems because of uneducated assumptions and personal entitlement feelings.
If you need a sign to remind you that somebody owns the property your parking at then you're dangerous to us all

I had a car towed from my reserved and paid for parking spot. I feel bad because I know the person I towed probably doesn’t have the money to get it out based on how the car looked (2000 Ford Explorer, chipped paint, cracked leather seats and trash littered carpet) I pay for my parking spot so that I have a place to park when there is no place to park. I talked to my mom about it and she basically told me, I did the right thing so why do I feel so shitty about it??
