BMO Artisan Keycap Timelapse by tinymakesthings

I made a timelapse of my making of the BMO keycap! This is using my stream VOD so it has my overlay and such (and raps edited out :P).
I use polymer clay and sculpt onto an existing keycap.

It’s baked because it is polymer clay. If you want air dry clay you can use air dry clay or apoxie sculpt

​@@mrblakeyboy8940 ​ ​ use keycaps made from pbt plastic.they melt at 223 °C or 433 °F. You bake clay at 135 °C or 275 °F.The only problem is you have to invest money on a good brand keycaps like razer and not from ebay cause they usually say it's pbt but they are not.

Yes, that's what they can be, they are making art on the keycap. It doesn't only have to be resin, these have way more detail anyway.

How do you bake it the cap will melt?

PBT keycap has a melting point of ~420 F (~210 celsius)
Polymer clay bakes at lower temperature.
(Don't use microwave, need oven)
