He makes plays literally no one else can make. His guts and sheer creativeness on the field set him apart from anyone else. His competitiveness/toughness is on par with any other legendary qb.
Idk why people say he will be a failure. He's a PLAYMAKER!!!! Sure he has alot to learn but he's destined for greatness and when he does great in the nfl all of you naysayers better not say yea I knew he would be great
Manziel is exciting to watch. Personally, I hope his game translates to the NFL. I'm Not a Browns fan (ATL actually), but the Browns have very passionate fans. If he does well, it will be good for Cleveland and everyone who loves football. So far, the only thing it seems people have against him is his "off-field antics." You know... Having his picture taken with famous people. SOMEONE CALL THE COPS! (The way people react, you'd think he had those pictures taken on a elevator security camera.) I'll give him a chance and wait a bit before I make up my mind if he's a bust or a steal. However, I am rooting for him. Relax hombres, that's just my opinion.
Evans' made Manziel look way better than he really is. Before people go and comment that "Evans didn't catch all the passes last season", you are correct..what I am saying is that Evans caught the majority of the passes in this highlight reel and any other Manziel highlight reel ever made.. In the NFL however, there is no way he will have WR's standing in the middle of the field by themselves like in this video or linebackers miss sacks. To find out if Manziel is the real deal or a bust will be when he has to consistently throw into heavy coverage, Seahawks defense doesn't let up, Raiders defense looks menacing so far this offseason, Chiefs defense looked gnarly last year.. Good luck Johnny, seriously, good luck.
He owned the college game, can't see it translating to NFL though. A lot of his scrambling would get shut down by faster and powerful defensive lineman, and many of his throws were fat picks waiting to happen in pros.
Dale Cooper anyone could throw it to him, all he does is chuck it into a crowd of people and mike evans goes up and gets its over a guy on every play. I'm sorry that you live in Cleveland, but add this guy to your yearly QB busts.
Manziel is a great qb. He does have his flaws though and he knows that. That's y he's not starting for the first couple of games. HE CAN SCRAMBLE IN THE NFL PPL! He just needs to know when and how wen making plays. I'm so sure it will all work out for us. GO BROWNS! !!
I have concerns for Manziel. - His spiral is nowhere near tight enough. - His scrambling ability looks good on college film, but NFL defenses are bigger, faster and hit harder. - His accuracy is poor. Much of the time he was bailed out by Evans. - When running, he dives head first. He needs to learn how to slide, and slide well. At the moment, he's a concussion waiting to happen. - He seems to rarely go through his reads properly before taking off. Much of this is stuff which can be worked through in practice, and which can be developed. However, Browns fans who see him as their potential saviour are likely to be disappointed unless he is given time to develop.
I agree but its not like he is running the pistol like RG3. When you run the pistol you risk getting hit by the bigger guys but whats special about Manziel is he can beat you with his arm better then any of those type of QB's like RG3, Cam Newton. Manziel he is in the shotgun alot witch gives him less risk to get hurt. He is smart and I don't think he will be taking chances with the hits as much in the NFL. His spiral with have to get better if he wants to play in Cleveland.
Now it's hard to tell if he'll be a bust or not, but one thing is for sure, this guy is fearless, you can clearly tell he's not afraid to go into a tackle with anyone.
He can extend really extend plays, but let's be honest. He's lucky to have good receivers, and tough/smart players on the field blocking for him when he scrambles even though he didn't throw it to an open man going through his progressions. NFL worthy, but don't start him right off the bat.
They said tht johnny sucks but there johnny manziel is the best quarter back i have ever seen n i know tht johnny manziel will make a big difference playing with cleveland
Here's the thing. Manziel is a great player and a fantastic athlete. But most of these plays are him getting great runs and throws on the run due to poor tackling by the defense. In the NFL, that won't happen as often. When he goes up against some of the strongest and biggest tacklers in the world, this won't happen as much. Good luck Manziel, you're gonna need it. I'm still excited to see what he'll do this year though for the Browns.
same thing for 2:34 try turning your back to a charging NFL lineman and you'll be in a wheelchair. This cat is all sizzle and no steak. Poor browns. They were bedazzled I guess. How many rings does Kordell Stewart have? Or Cam Newton, or Kaepernick or Vick. The list goes on and on...
Saying Manziel will be a bust is crazy . Remember everybody said Newton would be a bust? Manziel didn't win the heisman for nothing . This guy is amazing and for someone to say he sucks is really dumb . He can actually throw the ball better than what ppl think.
Someone needs to draft this kid. Patriots need to draft him & give Brady old self a break. He knows how to run a ball too! Unlike Matt Ryan just pure talent
He is scrambling quite a few times but he is also getting out of bad situations like tony romo. But if he keeps on doing that he can get his arm hurt. So he needs good lineman and most of the teams that have the first 10 picks in the draft have bad or ok offensive linemen. So it will take a few years for him to get a good line, which could be too long.
My thing about manziel is that he was shut down by Lsu and missouri both teams had fast defensive ends and talented linebackers to contain him . He is gonna struggle on Sundays sorry to say it :/
Johnny wasn't bad in the NFL u have to realize he was on a god awful team, if he was on a better team and he didn't have off the field issues I think he would still be playing and he would be a star
I don't see why people say he cannot translate his game to the NFL. His size? He is the same size as drew brees and russell wilson and they are very successful NFL QBs. Hes a scrambler? Look at his stats. His pass rushing yards increased tremendously in the 2013 season and that shows dynamics. He has more of an arm than people give him credit for. Yes, he tends to scramble more than others but that does not mean that he cant translate that to the NFL and mold an offense around his style of play. Plus, the kids only 21! He could hit another growth spurt for all we know. All im saying is hes young and plenty of time to translate his game to the NFL!
Cornelius Helius Haha I'm sorry but I think it's the stupidest thing when people say this. If you excel at a college level, most likely you'll do fairly well at the next, just like how if you excel at the highschool level you'll do fairly well in college. It's not like college football and the NFL are 2 separate sports
Scott kautz Troy Smith, Colt Mccoy, the list goes on and on and on. Absolutely no guarantees come when going from college to nfl, specially with quarterbacks that like to run.
I can see why you say that. No one can scramble around and the heave the ball in traffic in the nfl like he did many times, but as long as he makes good desicions I believe he will be solid. He improved his passing this season dramatically and he can only get better. Also when the pocket breaks down he will at times be able to make plays. I think as long as he makes good decisions throwing the ball, doesn't try to do so much with the ball and can control his drinking (and not get into other drugs like Jamarcus Russel and Ryan Leaf) he will be a solid player.
I don't see why everyone is saying he'll suck. He was playing the #1 TEAM IN THE NATION and they had the best defense in the nation on top of that and he was making plays. Alabama defense was better than half the teams in the NFL defense so I don't see why he can't do it in the NFL if he did it against the #1 defense in the nation. Give him a break and let him prove his self
#1 in college... In college he only faces a few players that will make it to the nfl, in the NFL, everyone has made it, Obviously, it's not as easy to take advantage of nfl players as it is college players
Drew Brees and Russel Wilson have proven that smaller sized QBs can perform very well in the NFL, and judging that the Houston Texans GM's are out to make a quick buck and re-energize the fan base, he may very well end up there, unfortunately the speed as well as the harder hits of the NFL will likely make him a bust like RGIII...Look at Cam Newton who has speed, athleticism, and enormous power, he is left minimizing his running game just to keep his body and most importantly his arm strong for the entirety of the season.. Hope he proves me wrong but he and RGIII will likely have more than just a Heisman in common soon.
Hes good but he needs a WR on the browns that is a playmaker like evans was to make it easier on him plus i think evans kinda made it look easy on johnnys end cuz of all those comback throws but with all that said he is still fun an interesting to follow
I don't see what's so great about him. Most of the highlights are him scrambling and running that cannot be done in the nfl and lob passes to Mike Evans.
Anybody with sense can see the players he had around him, he will be successful but he needs players it's a team game and he had a a+ line a+ recievers A+ running backs a+ tight end! no one can do it alone but in Cleveland he has 1 superstar receiver , and an ok defense, if I was him I would wait around as backup study the play books wait for a chance to leave Cleveland and play with the cowboys since a romo offense is what he needs to fulfill his dream of a nfl superstar by then Dallas will have a better everything Texas product on a Texas team!
Lol at all the people saying welcome to Dallas clearly the Texans will pick Manziel Texans have no.1 draft pick.. sorry to burst your bubble but that's just reality and that's how its going to end up...
You must be a damn fool if you didn't enjoy watching this kid play. You will never see another player like him
tru
Lamar jackson
He makes plays literally no one else can make. His guts and sheer creativeness on the field set him apart from anyone else. His competitiveness/toughness is on par with any other legendary qb.
This kid is great to watch. I cant wait to see if he can do this in the NFL
RIP Johnny's football career
This what we all will be watching on Sundays for the next decade he's a hard nose player like Ben rothlesburger
Johnny Manziel just SOUNDS like the name of a legend, is it just me?
Lol
This Song Goes With The Video Love It!!
Idk why people say he will be a failure. He's a PLAYMAKER!!!! Sure he has alot to learn but he's destined for greatness and when he does great in the nfl all of you naysayers better not say yea I knew he would be great
Miss this guy ❤️
I want him to succeed - just for the pure joy and fun of watching him play football. Exciting, fast, unnerving. Sports at its finest.
We're going to miss you Johnny! Legend forever in college station !
This guy's too exciting to watch, I wish he stayed one more year
As much as I have disliked his behaviour during his rookie year, he has matured up so much. And watching him as an Aggie was undeniably fun.
great fusion of the sound and video. maybe its cause im high, but it was well put together
I cannot wait to watch him in the NFL.
Great clips!
Jonny Manziel is the greatest QB of all time periodddddd
O lord the number of interceptions this guy will throw his rookie year...
This highlight makes Evans look like a beast
Evans' made Manziel look way better than he really is. Before people go and comment that "Evans didn't catch all the passes last season", you are correct..what I am saying is that Evans caught the majority of the passes in this highlight reel and any other Manziel highlight reel ever made.. Damn I miss seeing him play
He's going to be one of the greatest to do it in the NFL. Just wait on it!
Mackroy The Great I thought the same dude
Shiddddd
@@Kruxxin lmao yeah this didn't age well at all 🥴
@@mackroythegreat6418 LMAOO I was really hoping he did good in nfl but smh and I’m a Alabama fan
@LAHighlights Nice video , you timed the bass drops nice with good plays.
Great video man!! Loved it!
Is there a highlight reel of him sitting in the pocket and throwing?
Damn lots of people hating on him... hes going to be a bad ass QB.. look at Wilson they pretty much compare to each other
Lets take a moment to honor the career of Johnny Manziel, because without Josh Gordon he isn't going to have much of one
The way he runs with the ball hangin' out will get him in trouble in the NFL.
1:54 that juke and spin tho
Damn Johnny Jerk's juke move is legit! Right stick in Madden lolllll
All people do on manziel highlight tapes is bash his NFL career just shut up and respect what he did in college
This guy has one gorgeous spiral.
He owned the college game, can't see it translating to NFL though. A lot of his scrambling would get shut down by faster and powerful defensive lineman, and many of his throws were fat picks waiting to happen in pros.
I love this music, very well put with the highlights. Where could I get this mix? Please someone?
without evans there is no highlight reel lol
Without manziel there's no evans
Tyler Lette
any QB can throw hail maries and let evans play jump ball
That's why he was drafted before manziel he's the best wide out in this draft class
I thought this was a Evans highlight video lol
Dale Cooper anyone could throw it to him, all he does is chuck it into a crowd of people and mike evans goes up and gets its over a guy on every play. I'm sorry that you live in Cleveland, but add this guy to your yearly QB busts.
This kid is for real. He'll be starting by week 6
I miss him
Manziel is a great qb. He does have his flaws though and he knows that. That's y he's not starting for the first couple of games. HE CAN SCRAMBLE IN THE NFL PPL! He just needs to know when and how wen making plays. I'm so sure it will all work out for us. GO BROWNS! !!

U called it
Now it's hard to tell if he'll be a bust or not, but one thing is for sure, this guy is fearless, you can clearly tell he's not afraid to go into a tackle with anyone.
This could be the last time I ever see Manziel with two legs.......
Im a big Romo fan, fuck the haters, Romo is our leader, but if somehow we get Johnny Football, see ya latet Romo
romo is good I agree its just the o line but if the cowboys get him he wont go in the cowboys wont put romo as 2nd string trust me .
He can extend really extend plays, but let's be honest. He's lucky to have good receivers, and tough/smart players on the field blocking for him when he scrambles even though he didn't throw it to an open man going through his progressions. NFL worthy, but don't start him right off the bat.

Stop hating on someone that is making it somewhere in life

Wow the Browns are going to concede alot of safetys this season
Manziel was electric in college but can he adapt to the NFL? If he does the Browns will have a franchise QB.
Good song for Video 👌
whats it called
I dont see this kind of play surviving in the nfl
Manziel can be a pocket passer if he wanted to but he has great speed that is why he runs..
He will never be better than tony romo
Johnny manziel will be the next biggest bust in the history of the nfl
1:30 do that in the nfl it'll be your last play of your career
***** dashon goldson would drop his shoulder and cause brain damage he will get destroyed acting like AP
same thing for 2:34 try turning your back to a charging NFL lineman and you'll be in a wheelchair. This cat is all sizzle and no steak. Poor browns. They were bedazzled I guess. How many rings does Kordell Stewart have? Or Cam Newton, or Kaepernick or Vick. The list goes on and on...
Steven MacDonald Wilson

He's going to my buccaneers. ..batches
Post Part 2 !!! #JohnnyFootball
Name of this song ?
Welcome to Minnesota Johnny Football
He is scrambling quite a few times but he is also getting out of bad situations like tony romo. But if he keeps on doing that he can get his arm hurt. So he needs good lineman and most of the teams that have the first 10 picks in the draft have bad or ok offensive linemen. So it will take a few years for him to get a good line, which could be too long.
I wish the browns would've drafted Evans instead of that corner. Johnny with Gordon and Evans would be unstoppable.
Can't wait to see him go pro..
I agree just use cover two and put a linebacker on a qb spy and that will teach him to think about running at least for the rest of
the game
My thing about manziel is that he was shut down by Lsu and missouri both teams had fast defensive ends and talented linebackers to contain him . He is gonna struggle on Sundays sorry to say it :/
Keep him in the pocket and thats all folks.
Browns need to take a chance on this kid if he's there at 4.
I'd love to see manziel with the vikings!
Johnny wasn't bad in the NFL u have to realize he was on a god awful team, if he was on a better team and he didn't have off the field issues I think he would still be playing and he would be a star
I live in Seattle and I say the the kid is the next Russell Wilson.
Hes another Tim Tebow .. good luck getting out of the pocket and staying alive for that long in the NFL
Hes way smarter than Tebow!
He can actually throw the ball
Tim tebow can win a playoff game unlike manziel
+armykid891 into the defenses hands
Can anybody please tell me the name of the song in the video?
Thank you.
I don't see him doing well in the NFL. Very talented college QB, which I don't think will translate into a good NFL QB.
I don't see why people say he cannot translate his game to the NFL. His size? He is the same size as drew brees and russell wilson and they are very successful NFL QBs. Hes a scrambler? Draft Day. Johnny Manziel
Imagine Kam Chancellor of the Seahawks rocking this kid.Someone please call an ambulance!
I kinda want the browns to trade for evans to be with manziel... they would be a really powerfull duo.
I don't see why everyone is saying he'll suck. He was playing the #1 TEAM IN THE NATION and they had the best defense in the nation on top of that and he was making plays. WHO REMIXED THAT SONG??? SHIT IS FIRE!!!!
I don't see what's so great about him. Most of the highlights are him scrambling and running that cannot be done in the nfl and lob passes to Mike Evans.
1:15 gives me chills lol
Song - Sweet Nothing Diplo/ Grandtheft mix // Calvin Harris ft. Florence Welch , your welcome

What's the name of the song at the beginning?
What song is this ?
NFL defense have lightening reflexes, he's gonna have trouble getting out of the pocket.
A&M is the loudest place to play in college 1:13
Go johnny go
Lol at all the people saying welcome to Dallas clearly the Texans will pick Manziel Texans have no.1 draft pick.. sorry to burst your bubble but that's just reality and that's how its going to end up...
What's the song called?
Welcome to Cleveland!
What's this song called...anybody know
What song is this
Love the highlights but not sure I would have scored the film with music that sounds like it's from an abused animal adoption commercial.
Last season people didn't notice tht he ran because no one was open he wasn't on a very good team
