A Beret is a hat. The color of the beret she wore was raspberry.

    Prince was not Androgynous.
His band was called Prince and "The Revolution."
Men back in the 1700s dressed like that. At one time, men wore higher heeled shoes.
Prince was doing a costume-type theme drawing from a previous era.

I saw him twice in concert and he was an AMAZING entertainer.

I (Adore) your newfound fondness of Prince. And, I want more.
I couldn't find your reaction to "Little Red Corvette " or my personal favorite "Adore." I even went through your playlist.
I highly recommend you create a "Prince " Playlist because he catalog is a rabbit hole you'll never come out of.
I highly recommend "Beautiful Ones" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" w/Prince, Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff Lynne, and others --

Yup, we had a lot of fun in the 70s and 80s, the latter my teen years. We were all much happier, the music, across many spectrums, was wonderful. Changed right around 1990, took a much different direction.

@@jazshas And never recovered. I've found only hints here and there of worthwhile music since, mostly in obscure genres or completely different music like jazz.
