A slow cooked rich, spicy beef or lamb stew topped with thin-sliced hot chilies, lemon and crushed cumin nihari is the ultimate comfort food. For all the people thinking that yogurt is a weird ingredient cook before you make assumptions this is a very good recipe I made this in my party and it was a hit everybody asked me about the recipe thanks Rizwana Appa for the recipe!

A good nihari is never blackish or very dark color. Dark color nihari usually means 1. it is over spiced 2. over cooked 3. or it is not fresh. So It is very important to use the right blend of spices with right amount and should not be over cooked

Waalaikum Assalam Sofia - Tum mutton ki nihari bana sakti ho. Yehi recipe use karo and mutton leg key baray baray pieces karwalo to nihari achi banay gi. Nihari main haddi bhi honi chahiyay.
