Man, sad that I saw this right now while randomly browsing YT.. but awesome job on the video!! Will take these notes with me to the next season :) Thanks so much and keep making videos!
What is the best way to get set gear on a secondary character? Blood shards? cube upgrades? GRifts or just normal rift grinding? As it is a WD and my first char was a Barb I have almost no overlap in gear and my WD can now barely do Torment4 and GRift 20
+LordKilmir I would say farming bloodshards and death's breath on your first character, then using gambling and cube upgrades while on your second character to hopefully get the items you want. The biggest thing will be finding a 6 piece set, which farming a RoRG can help you complete that set quicker when you cube it. Also look at possibly cubing other items like Convention of the Elements as that can work on any class.
Hi Renko (Ranko?), do you think the fast leveling 1-70 for the upcoming season 7 (2.4.2) will be largely the same as season 6? Thanks in advance, love ur work
I'm starting a wd this season, I think act 5 with all those critters on the way to Adria using devouring swarm could be a niche leveling for the wd once the Pestilence rune becomes available.
+M LEET Those are nice to bump up your massacre bonus, but the little guys don't award a lot of experience themselves. It's a bit of a trade off where you can get a high massacre but it's severely inflated by the little scarabs.
What a great video! A buddy of mine and I have not played since release and I am not familiar with the old ladder system or anything. This video half seemed in a different language lol. What two classes should we pick? We were leaning towards barb/monk but I am aware the game is a fickle mistress and that may not be advisable lol.
+Andy Lundberg Really, go with what you feel will be fun. If you want to go with the meta, the strongest build will probably be a Wizard/Monk for 2 player rifts with a Wizard as the DPS and Monk as a zDPS (zero dps, support) class. If you want to have good item synergy, outside of class specific items, going Wizard/Witch Doctor, Monk/DH or Barb/Crusader helps you share items between each other so you're both helping each other towards upgrades as well. All of these 4 classes can play in a DPS/Support roll as well or both have valid DPS builds too.
Last season I played WD, Wizard, DH...I was wondering what you think would be a good pick for this season between: Raekors, Akkhans and Inna's as far as complexity vs damage vs fun. Any opinion? I was thinking raekors for damage but inna's looks more complex and possibly just as fun...charging could get boring? Akkhans I have no idea... it doesn't really stand out I know patch 2.1 akkhans was good but has it changed?
+Beric Dondarin I played Raekor's back when they redid it a few seasons ago and I found the gameplay boring. Akkhan's is OK, it's pretty generic and can work with so many different items so you're not really locked into one specific playstyle or gearset of support items. As for Inna's, I'm looking into running the generator based (2 piece Raiment, 6 piece Inna) build. I'm a big fan of generator monks so it looks the most exciting for me. Hope that helps, any more questions feel free to ask away.
Any advice on item farming to get to late game? I can solo T10 easily, but I'm still not getting certain drops that I'm lookin for. Should I just Cube everything? I don't know if I should start cubing an unoptimized full set or if I should just roll for stats at the mystic and keep trying to push higher rifts and hope for drops. Sorry I'm pretty new so I don't know how the most efficient way of optimizing gear and shit.
Cubing items is the best way to aquire them. I would really only gamble for armor/off-hand items if you still need those, but gambling for weapons/jewelry works, it's just more expensive. Have you done the Hadrig's Gift requirements? For season 7 it requires you to complete all the chapters instead of only doing 1 requirement from each chapter like last season. Furthermore, Convention of the Elements is an amazing ring you should try to cube/gamble as it works with any build. You can also go for focus/restraint or the endless walk (compass rose, traveler's pledge) set. The rest are finding items that compliment your class set's skills. What class are you running this season?
+GameByNumber I'm running a helltooth WD. I have the full set from Haedrigs. I have a good amount of what I need to round out my build but I pretty much hit a wall and my progression has screeched to a halt.
how is that so different from my 50 minutes for lvl 1 to paragon 150, to your lvl 1 to paragon 200 in 60 minutes? if anything, i might call your statement BS.. How immature of you to start throwing insults right away.
Cory McNevin whatever, you clearly saw that i misread and that my comment was not aimed towards you. Instead of just stating that you still took time to pursue the conversation further AND then insulting me shows what's what.
hey man i got a problem with season 6 / quest 4 - [8/10] set them free , i am wearing set but at leoric mansion didnt give me option to move thru the rubble bit its still blocks my path even when i have 6/6 set on can u help ? why it wont let me go to the dungeon area? - do i need to complete that to keep the set or i can skip those quests? since im already wearing the set?
you forgot to mention that you MUST complete the GR20 within the time limit or you dont get the gift. I killed the rift boss a couple seconds after the timer in 2 rifts and didnt get the set pieces..
Hello! I've got a question if playing as a group and doing the bountys to get Cains set, should we split up while doing the bountys or do the same bounty together? And for how long should we keep on doing bontys ans swap 2 Hard rifts?
+Albin Olsson You can split them up, I would suggest starting a new game and putting it on normal, and once you complete the bonus act hit escape and on the right hand side you'll see "raise difficulty level" and do that to raise it to hard and turn it in. It's strange, but it's the only time you can raise the difficulty up a notch. My group only did it once and went to clearing HoA/Fields to get some massacres and then did rifts pretty at that point up to 70 with a quick dip to get Leoric's Crown on the way.
Depends on the style of gameplay you want. Crusader is a bit more about LoN Bombardment Thorns spec, Monk has a bit more build diversity with Uliana, Sunwuko or Inna's sets to pick from. Either class can be a support class, but a Monk is best and most sought out for in a group as they are the staple.
Any advice for initial gear farming on a second or subsequent toon? You only get haedrigs gifts for your first toon of the season (as i found out when i made my WD second :/)
+Stuart McCabe Best is to continue to farm on your 1st character and gather up blood shards for gambling, death's breath and materials for cubing legendary items. Make sure you cube and gamble on the player you want gear for. You can also try and find a community of similar players for loot sharing groups.
Hi am someone that only plays solo which class would u suggest me that can finish the season journey fast and maybe synergyzes well with the horadics cube
+gglookgg Demon Hunter is Probably the best. Your 4 piece set alone can do T6 So the 6 piece plus the rucksack quiver and a supporting weapon Like Yang's Recurve will make TX farming for items a breeze early on. Wizard will be the meta DPS for 4 man groups, But their 2 And 4 piece sets are more defensive. Monks start of slow as Well But have a strong finish on TX speed farm builds. you can check Quin69 on youtube for Monk guides and Philosophios for DH.
GameByNumber i went with crusader people told me its the hardest to gear endgame but still strong early exactly what i want so i dont quit withing first days
Hey, so, I did a regular rift on torment 3, got a key, then took it to torment 4 and completed the greater rift. when I was done, I didn't get my last set pieces. Do I have to do regular rift and greater rift on torment four in order to get the last pieces? Thanks in advanced.
+timothyfrick You have to solo a GR20 and complete the greater rift. Torment 4 just unlocks the GR20 (actually GR21 but you only need GR20) from the selection menu.
Yes. Once a season is over, you get all the items from your previous season stash put in the mailbox, all seasonal characters get converted to non-season, and all your paragon XP is added to the pool of your non-season (it's not additive of levels, only accumulated XP). From there you can freely give items to other non-season characters.
+simoxeh It won't unlock for non-seasons, but when you go to create a season character it will be unlocked. I have tested this on the PTR with an account that doesn't have RoS (PTR gives you RoS for free FYI) and I was able to go straight into adventure mode and that account has never killed Malthael. All you need is the Malthael kill to unlock adventure mode as well and you can likely find a community or ask a friend to help you out with that if you want to unlock it in non-season.
it just resets you non season character to level 1. You maintain the name and hours played on that character. It's mainly for having an attachment to a certain character, like I have my vanilla D3 Monk I created in 2012 that I rebirthed thus season. No real benefit outside of saving steps to delete on e character to free up a spot for a seasonal guy.
Billy Elliot Mann I see, and what about wings and pets do you get them mostly from bounties or rifts? And which difficulties are the best to play as once you're maxed lvl?
i havnt played since se 2 can someone explain to me all the things he talks about in more detail like cubing? and what is giving him his bouns xp for gettings lots of kills and stuff. im just confused haha
+RubenoskiHD eureka As much as I'd like to claim it as my own, I'd suggest checking out Quin69's video. ua-cam.com/video/anU4N8esunw/v-deo.html He gives great insight on gambling tricks to do your GR20 solo by using Crudest Boots or Riveria Dancer boots.
It's a reset to a new enviornment/economy where every player starts at level 1 with no prior boost from items or paragons. it's a good way to experience the game fresh again.

As someone new to diablo. This didn't make any sense hahah
All you have to do is join a high lvl team doing rifts and follow behind them. Got lvl 70 in a hour.
An hour?
Got it around 20 mins. And then to Paragon 150 in around 30 mins.
TheLoreGeek i call bullshit
Chivo Koningsveld Call it whatever you want, i don't mind.

Hi a newbie here. Any idea when does the new season starts? :) nice video btw
+YezzyHD in 8 minutes
+YezzyHD It started 10 minutes ago!
just started in EU, America's starts at 8pm EST, 5pm PST.
is monk best this season? i kinda wanna play dh or wiz

Im confused about one part, do we want to use cains full set or everything except the helmet for Leorics crown?
Yes, Leoric's helm is ideally what you want in the helm slot for the 2x effect on red gems while leveling for XP gains.
Is there a specific guide like this for DH?
+Metalders Philosophios has good guides specific to DH. ua-cam.com/video/-hglJqbOLb0/v-deo.html

+GameByNumber Awesome, thank you!
Why you don't mention Skorn from Ruins of Sescheron at lv 1? Was it nerfed?
Kanai's was removed
+Ciskins Domain well that's a pity.
I thought so too, having a weapon with 119dmg and getting an easy 18lvls would have been...sick!
+Ciskins Domain but even more sick is having 60lv weps at 42lv and 70lv weps at 60s.
Written guide on reddit got removed :/
+Patrick Kubiak It is back up.
Can I transfer set items reward to other character once the season is over?
Yes. GameByNumber Aight thnx
I think you ask need to beat the game to play adventure mode. Mine is locked as I haven't beat the expansion yet. Guess I have to level slide again.
+GameByNumber thanks I managed to finish the expansion. I don't know much about what seasons are. I will try your leveling up strategy though.
Do i need to have reaper of souls to get season 6 rewards?
Because of adventure mode and lvl 70
yeah
***** thx
btw diablo RoS is totally worth it. it fixes the lack of fun stuff to do that happened when u max lvl in the base game
You are in PTR ?
+Σπύρος Κοντογιάννης I did my testing on the PTR and a bit on live servers once the 2.4.1 patch hit to confirm the changes.
Can anyone explain to me what seasonal rebirth thing is and what is great about creating lvl 70 back to lvl 1?
it just resets you non season character to level 1. You maintain the name and hours played on that character. It's mainly for having an attachment to a certain character, like I have my vanilla D3 Monk I created in 2012 that I rebirthed thus season. No real benefit outside of saving steps to delete on e character to free up a spot for a seasonal guy.
Billy Elliot Mann Are there like any benefits & rewards to it or is it just optional?
+rockkiller124 no tangible benefit, just for show.
Billy Elliot Mann I see, and what about wings and pets do you get them mostly from bounties or rifts? And which difficulties are the best to play as once you're maxed lvl?
on my DH i did solo greater rift with 5 pieces of set and got 2 copies ... how can i get my 6th piece now?
try converting it with kanai cub
Just play a couple days late and then ask a friend to carry you.
+Krimlo That's what one of my friends did :-D
If we had friends lol
lucky bastard got furnace
got 2 of those 2 days ago xD
i havnt played since se 2 can someone explain to me all the things he talks about in more detail like cubing? and what is giving him his bouns xp for gettings lots of kills and stuff. im just confused haha
i have found out what the cube is :) but still would like some knowledge about the other stuff he talks about
one thing i need explained coz no idea at all what u mean besides it will help with chain killing is at 2:12
i have 4 set pieces with the monk. but i cant do solo T4... what can i do?
+RubenoskiHD eureka As much as I'd like to claim it as my own, I'd suggest checking out Quin69's video. ua-cam.com/video/anU4N8esunw/v-deo.html He gives great insight on gambling tricks to do your GR20 solo by using Crudest Boots or Riveria Dancer boots.
i come to your video from quin69 guide couse i cant get over T2 =(
What exactly is a Season?
It's a reset to a new enviornment/economy where every player starts at level 1 with no prior boost from items or paragons. it's a good way to experience the game fresh again.
Is this only on PC?
i think its on xbox one and ps4 as well, definetely not on xbox360 and ps3 tho
