Plaistow Now & Then = Cumberland Road to New Barn Street. Recorded on Thursday 6th June 2024.
Join me, as we first "look at & discuss, what an iron chapel is/was" with a look at a lost Newham one!
Then for the rest of our tour = We start off in Cumberland Road. & Finish off at New Barn Street. Taking in "a rare surviving Iron Chapel." A Spiritualist Church + its early foundation & interesting history! & Two lost Pubs + their histories & old photos.

How weird was only talking about Cumberland Road a week or so ago, my Nan was bombed out of Cumberland Road during the war and re housed in Upperton Road, and as always interesting
