Watch 3 Body Problem Official Teaser Trailer From the Creators Of Game Of Thrones Release Date 2024
Please reaction Squid Game 2 trailer
Given that Pia was alone when she died and the lack of detail in the mother’s suicide note, a potential heartbreaking theory is that the documentary would speculate that the mother killed her (directly, at least) in the stream. Yet another thing that would haunt Davis for life.
I just assumed that was what they implied in the documentary.
I definitely think it would have been more satisfying of the mom DID kill Pia.
@@JennyofOldStones713If she had, she wouldn't have killed herself. Ending would've been different
It’s like he lost everything from this- at this point decades later he is a victim and it ruined his life, and nobody cares about him. His pain and his lost will be forget as people obsess over what his parents did- he lost his parents in two ways even, through death and through realizing who they truly are, lost his old life and from Pias death he lost his new life and instead is alone, even his friend from the bar is dismissing his pain over the excitement of the towns new fame and the bars new profit, even his dad is sitting in the bar sad. Like when we obsess and spotlight all this violence we lose sight of the pain that is caused, people just wanna see the gore, they don’t wanna see the human
I like that it indeed was a commentary on "tech" in a similar way to the National Anthem. Not any high tech stuff, just human behaviour. How we make entertainment out of horrible tragedies and people eat it up raw.
Damn people wanna see the gore not the human is a perfect description of this episode.
@rowaystarco it's definitely a lot more honed in with season 6, you can really also see that with Mazey Day and Demon 79 since they also don't heavily rely on high tech
Interesting given that this show is Netflix, and Netflix also created the famous Dahmer series that troubled the families of the victims. Kind of showing their guilt eh
"This is going to be a story about one of the last remaining holdouts against the commodification of nature."
*Proceeds to commodify his own tragic story*
I get the impression that that pains him more than the truth about his parents.
Irony
Awesome insight my guy.
Excellent insight…. The eggs resembling life , and what happened resembling death… both being of nature
This one was creepy. It seemed like his mom really loved him, even by the type of note she left. Creepy on a second watch seeing the mom look at the dad's picture while hearing her son and Pia have sex. Based on how the mom was with her son, I almost wonder if she was honest when saying she wouldn't hurt Pia.
Well, that's what I get for commenting before I watch the reaction. They noticed the same thing.
Yeah, as the mom just killed herself afterwards, maybe that was her plan if she did "catch" Pia. I don't think she wanted to go "solo" and didn't really have much to live for after her husband died.
I kept thinking how sweet his mom was too lol
I don’t know I kinda got the feeling the mom wanted the notoriety and fame, she liked being on camera and in control so her suicide with the tapes feels like a weird extension of that 🥴
@@V_4_Versace ooh, that's an interesting interpretation. I could see that. She was cracked in a special kind of way.
This episode creeped me the hell out.
We could be living with serial killers all around us for years without knowing anything.
CREEPY.
Yeah me too, cause imagine they all just stopped and started living normal lives after doing such horrible things, very scary
I think the drunk dad is proof that sometimes we DO know when something isn’t right with someone (hopefully not serial killer level) and when we don’t speak up, we have to live with it.
I thought they did a good job of making the mom seem innocuous without it being TOO much. Like, “Oh, she’s too sweet, the twist must be she’s involved.” At least, I didn’t see it coming.
@@Shyknit the thing is, most of them do exactly that. Serial killers who kill over years and years are usually leading normal lives otherwise. Because no suspicion is drawn to them. The most sophisticated serial killers are experts at appearing totally normal.
Just remember that US police only solve 50% of all murders! Sweet dreams!
@@Shyknitbtk killer
the way Pia's death and the work she did that led to the mom leaving the evidence, is waved away and forgotten hits like real life
I just realized that the son thought his dad was sullen and withdrawn because his business was falling but it was actually because he went thru something traumatic with the killer couple he thought were his friends and was probably the only one to survive them. Also after everyone found out the whole truth and his business is thriving but he is still alone and unsupported just another stop in the story not a victim.
The mom literally said "...we were happy! He ruined everything!" when talking about why she wanted to end Iain herself. That solidified everything for me.
The friend was played by Daniel Portman. Podrick from Game of Thrones. Almost unrecognisable to me at first.
I was screaming 😂! He was amazing in this episode!
I was racking my brain as to where I saw him before and when it finally hit me I realized how good a job he did acting that I almost didn't realize it was him
It’s funny, I’ve always thought Podrick looks like my nephew. Then I thought, here’s another actor that looks like my nephew. It slowly dawned on me that this the actor that played Podrick. It’s cool to see him in this episode.
I recognized his eyes, he always had that one look in GOT
ah yes big cock Podrick
This was a great one, waiting for a horror element the entire time…got completely blindsided 🤣
The acting at the end is everything for me,he got everything he wanted but loose his girlfriend and his parents was murderer, the eyes said it
I genuinely felt so heartbroken for him
YES! His eyes man
"his parents was murdered"..... What do u mean by this???
@@Rash23215 my english may not be good but, Did you see the episode ?
@@Stnaney yes I did.... They weren't murdered?? One died due to bullet injuries( which he shot himself) and other by hanging herself..... Where was the murder??
This is the best commentary on the worst part of the true crime community and the sensationalizing of the documentaries for true crime storiez
Literally the best commentary I’ve ever seen on the genre & it was done in just an hour.
Why are people obsessed with this show having to be about technology?
People are giving bad reviews solely based on that.
The TV show was always lot about people and the how far do you go for something, whats the good or bad like on the white bear. Technology was just a part of it apparently people didn't catch that lol
I mean the technology is streaming service, but also I feel like this episode pointed out that even older technology possessed the ability to corrupt…a simple vcr cam created a desire to be a star, and the streaming true crime element portrayed the get famous that just Carries through as it progresses.
Even though this episode still dealt with technology, that being streaming services and their predatory nature involving true crime content. It's just that it wasn't futuristic as some other episodes.
yeah, i feel like every episode doesn't have to be super heavy with it as long as it's somewhat following it
this episode still revolves around it even though it's not 'futuristic' cameras are tech, movies are tech, a statement upon hollywood glamorizing real peoples lives through documentaries etc. is tech
it's still ALL tech but not in a 'tHiS cOuLd bE tHe FuTuRe' way because it's pretty much already a thing and just like other forms of 'tech gone wrong' it's calling out where we have already gone wrong which is just as important
I think it's because the best episodes of the show created this identity on people's head about what the show was about. Most of the episodes in earlier seasons were about dystopic and futuristic technology gone wrong and therefore is not unexpexted that people will get mad when the show tries to diverge from what made the show succesful in the first place.
I think my favorite thing about this episode (other than it just being a great episode thematically and visually) is the commentary about the commodification of true crime and sensationalized nature of real people’s lives.
It’s brought me back to the whole Dahmer situation with Netflix (which wasn’t even a year ago) and the discussion about where we draw the line between bringing awareness to something and profiting off of people’s tragedies. The ending with the patrons wearing the his mom’s mask was honestly one of the more horrific parts of the episode to me simply because of how real it is (like how so many people were buying Dahmer’s glasses after the show came out) and how we as people can so quickly glorify and commodify torture and murder as if real people aren’t behind these stories.
Sad that the poor dude didn’t just get to make his film about the egg man.
This episode was great and that twist reveal was crazy!👍
I guessed the twist when I saw all those VHS tapes in the house but I really enjoyed this episode! When the mother sees her son’s girlfriend and says “What a pretty thing you captured.” It does sound a bit racist. However, after we know the twist, that comment is so much more sinister and dark. Great episode.
It's not racist, it just an old saying we use in England. Our language is different and is meant to be funny more than anything.
@@abrimfulofashaamericans see everything as racist
@@pinkpenzu I’m not American….
@@abrimfulofasha Correct. That is my point. The mother wasn’t being racist, she was remembering the times that she & her husband captured “pretty things.” Which makes the comment so creepy.
@S.W.D there is that, but it's also just a very old English saying that has been used for years.
Who knows if it was intentional about the people she captured or not, maybe a happy accident. We will never know.
This ep was my fav in the whole season, prob one of my top in the whole show. Also Podrick was amazing lol
The actress who played the mom was amazing.
if you don't count that accent lmao
This was a great episode too! It was definitely creepy and dark with a twist. It reminds of shut up and dance and crocodile.
Monica Dolan is a fantastic actress. Her portrayal of serial killer Rose West (wife of the Fred West the TV exec mentioned) in a British TV show was utterly chilling. I saw her on stage in All About Eve opposite Gillian Anderson and she was magnificent and won awards. But I kept thinking of her as Rose West and it was truly unsettling!
She was in season 5 episode 2 as well!
Hearing those Scottish accents at the beginning, amused this Scotsman.
I didn't love this episode, but appreciated BM setting an episode here in Scotland. It was actually filmed about 40 miles away from the village I live in.
This episode made me remember how real victims and affected families of Dahmer protested the release of his Netflix series. 🤧
Loved this episode and reaction ❤️
People saying this one wasn't about technology but it was. Technology has changed throughout the years and the old film camera along with the VHS tapes are still a piece of technology; this story showed once again how technology is both a blessing and our downfall.
The mother held the tapes as mementos of 'fond memories' but near the end its almost like the tapes wanted to get the truth out, in a way betraying her and choosing reality which is pretty ironic considering modern technology now.
Watched the first three episodes so far and loved them all.
This one creeped me the fuck out and then just made me sad, and I missed that from the last season. This one and Beyond the Sea hit me like the good old feel bad episodes.
“The details are so awful..it irresistible” call and also …the name of this episode is on streamberry in the 1st episode. They actually mention this crime story
This episode was my favorite because it really makes me think of the family members of serial killers and how they come to terms with their loved one being such a terrible monster.
As a scot I was already biased but i loved this episode. If Greg does enjoy shows with a darker twist then I cant help but recommend Inside No.9. A show in the U.K. 30 min epsiodes that often take a sinister twist in the last 5 mins. Some episodes much better than others but the best ones are very good imo.
Only two eps in but have a feeling that this season is about what I’m calling the “(Stream)BerryVerse.”
This episode was wild as shit.
Didn't know that was Podrick 😂
The moment Pia said, "we should make a film about this, if you dont, then I will", I knew she would be dead by the end of the episode.
I like in the 1ST episode this episode was an option on Streamberry.
I love that this was old tech and current Tech. "Modern video cameras" VHS is the only way to watch your favourite TV show. Which then turns to the "new" way to watch your favorite TV show . Not to mention the Crime doc stuff. Wow
We will always support you all. Keep up the good work.
That ending half was extremely chilling 😂 I wanted to cry so bad
Was I the only one that noticed Greg's left hoodie drawstring was laying in such a way to perfectly line up the patterns?
Can’t wait for your reaction of the third episode!! 🔥
The main actor played a sidecharacter in netflix "Dracula" in episode 2. I was impressed by his acting right away.
That was a horrifyingly great episode of tv when Pia looks at that the mask at the dinner table I was about to poop myself lmao.
I watched this ep this morning and I needed a lie down after...
This was the best episode of the season that I have seen so far. The Joan is Awful was hilarious though
To all those people that enjoy Netflix's Dahmer, I hope you realize how horrible it is after watching this episode.
What's horrible about liking Netflix's Dahmer?
LMAO
@@meciocio it sucks and it's fucked up they did a show abt it...they could've just made a similiar story up inspired on it. But if you liked it you do you 👍
@@mickystuart7706 Why not do a show about it?
@@mickystuart7706lmao
I enjoyed this season and this episode but honestly felt more like live action love death and robots especially by the end of the season
Yeah turned into a horror series lol
Yeah like the next episode with Aaron Paul is legit about love death and robots
The first episode this season I thought was generally lighthearted and had a good amount of comedy, then I watch this episode and lose my fucking mind. My stomach hurts from tensing up so much but damn I'm excited to see what else this season has in store.
My 2nd favorite ep of the season. 3rd ep is #1 of this season.
Third one is really good!
Glad to see Podrick still getting keeping a gig!!
I looked up Fred West the serial killer they mention in the show and he and his wife Rose did basically exactly what the parents did in this episode in real life. Good foreshadowing if you know about that case already.
As 80s babies my sis and I knew as soon as they showed the tapes lol but was still so much fun 🎭😊
I knew too, but I thought the mom was recording over the tapes to protect the Dad's image, I didn't see her being involved at first. I thought maybe the two fathers were involved
@@CoutureThug I definitely thought it was the two dads who then framed an innocent Iain, but the sons took up after them.
2:36 YALL ITS PODRICK PAYNE!!! POD!!!! GAME OF THRONES! “Tell. Us. Everything.”
Was the barman friend Podrick from Game of Thrones??
OMG Podrick you beautiful Scottish treasure!
I wonder if anyone picked up on the fact that this documentary was featured in the last episode when Joan was Channel surfing.
Man.. the bartender is so funny. I love his character
Dude lost his mom, his girlfriend, and respect for his parents all in one day, thats fuckin rough buddy
really loved this episode epically the trailer for henry will out i would see that doc lol.
I was throwing up and disgusted when the reveal happened. One of the darkest BM episodes imo
I mean, the next one is pretty dark too. And depressing
I hope that's hyperbole because if so you must have the weakest stomach in history lol 🤡
@@M0nst3r0711somewhere waiting for meeeeeeee
In a certain way, this episode reminds me Countrycide, definitivelly the most disturbing episode of Torchwood
Don't forget that his friend Stu was Podrick from game of thrones
I am Scottish, your accents made my day, thank you for that! Hilarious 😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️.
Note - Announcer at the BAFTAs is Richard Ayoade from IT crowd who also voices the droid Zero from The Prisoner Ep of Mandalorian
And a whole lot more! Moss is where I first found his comic hilarity.
8:05 The editing montage got me too lol I worked on a short film for a collrge class, it was an awesome experience I'd love to do again, except for adobe premiere, I low-key despise it lol
I'm using Adobe Premiere for my channel and the amount of crashing that happens is ABYSMAL lmao.
I enjoyed this episode. Could have watched a whole mini series about it. The end was fucked up
I think this maybe was the best of the new episodes. FYI, the friend from the bar is Podrick from GoT.
The friend from the bar is Podrick from Game of Thrones
damn john excellent point👏🏽
Podrick from Game Of Thrones was great in this episode, hilarious man.
Did anybody else realize Stuart was Podrick from GOT? Lol took me awhile
I just was looking up the actors and the woman playing the mom is famous for playing the real life serial killer this character is based off...
My favourite of this season.
Called this one really early but still very impressed, seen a lot of complaints about it being too slow which I don't agree with
The people complaining are the ones that are slow, their brains aren't developed enough to enjoy a slow burn. They need instant gratification, welcome to the internet age
@@CoutureThug oh 100%, everyone's got tiktok brain nowadays
Is it just me, but did the mom at the hospital seemed to be condescending to the doctor? Since it turned out that her husband ended up dying from catching something at the hospital and she made it seem like she didn't like the doctor.
oh man. on the rewatch. pretty little thing you captured...oh man. jesus
I'm curious if they're linking all the episodes together as a multiverse like they mentioned in the first episode. Just watched the 2nd episode myself
yes- one of the documentaries on streamberry was about San Junipero a few seasons ago...
God, I've been through everything, I can't find a hint. What kind of composition in the second episode of season 6 starts playing at 45:40 until 47:30??
A very strong melody.
Dad probably got MRSA from being around blood/bodily fluid in the dungeon!! 😮
This one was great
This and Episode 6 are the best ones!
Good morning y’all
GO MORE!! NEXT PLEASE?!
This season seems to have the "Consumer" theme
I got weird vibes from both the son and Pia at the beginning for different reasons but then I realized they were both so detached and that's why itnwas creeping me out, but it ended up being a great misdirect for the actual creeps. I thought it was gonna end up being the bar guys Dad that was sadist did not expect the cop and mom
I suspected the Dad when he was staring off all aloof in the news tape, and the Mom when she was so comfortable with staying there all of those years. This was a great episode.
I was wondering what spray is that. Then it hit me: it's Tiger Balm.
Was getting real pamela vorhees from the mom throughout the episode so when the twist came I expected it but even then it still made me disturbed and terrified, they made the whole story so creepy, superb episode !!!!
The bartender is podrick from game of thrones!!
BAFTA being a mask too makes it more heartbreaking
Look, it's Podrick! 👆🏾
This story kinda reminds me of Prisoners and that big reveal
plz turn up your mic volumes! i turn it to the max and it still sounds a bit quiet, where other videos its louder when i turn it half way on the UA-cam volume. thanks
I thought yall would have caught on quicker than yall did.
It wasn't until I watched your reaction that I realized Stuart is Daniel Portman, Podrick fucking Payne from Game of thrones.
The first two episodes of this season, are feeling very Inside No 9.
It’s unsettling how the mother’s mask harks to the actual *BAFTA Award* her son wins.
finished watching this season last night, its good but its not their best
Pia's death was the dumbest thing I've ever seen
Was SUPER rushed.... happened in and out so it was very hollow in execution
They explain her death in the very beginning…the rivers are deep and people go missing
I dunno if I’m biased, but angry Scottish people shouting at you is scarier than in an American accent
Honestly, Netflix making an episode like this is unsettling for me. Kind of…disgusted? Idk
But his mom leaving all that behind and writing him that note is like she’s still torturing people. This time, though, it’s her son.
I think she is based on rose west the mask the knk and videos its rose west
Not even a decade of therapy could help Davis 😂
Right?!! That was traumatic as hell!!!
How did you not recognize Pod from game of thrones?!?
Shepherd's pie!!!!!
