I don't know why but I love watching old IH 706 Tractors doing field work.
Now you can widen the frame and add the shanks back in , High 1st direct is plenty fast enough after adding about 3 to the frame work.
That would definitely plug in corn stalks. I always like a field cultivator over a disk. Second time over at an angle would really loosen the ground up
I agree I wouldn't even think about trying it on corn ground

We pulled a 45 IHC FIELD 19 FOOT WIDE WITH a 4020Too much for our 4010 unless your trying to subsoil 706 ihc should handle a 16ft mounted FCult.

Did you get the injectors pop tested and shimmed up to spec when the pump was done?
I did not only had the pump rebuilt. That engine was sold early this summer. I am putting a 12v cummins in it currently
@@RuralMidwest There is a shim kit for those injectors, the tractor is smooth as silk once theyre all popping at same.pressure.

Does this 706 have the German diesel?

@@RuralMidwest I love it! We had a Farmall 230 and a Farmall 504. If you go from those, to getting on a 706, you feel like God. It is all relative.
