Mate, that did more for music, guitar, groves, funk and jams than hours of some other guitar wizards. Bro, you got the GIFT, Please share more...and how about a little tutorial on this one...
Is it really a tuning women often fall in love with the guitar player? I heard of it as a “women graber or catcher” Nice guitar sound. I play Celtic trad mostly. But standard suits better flatpicking; unless one plays sets of tunes with the same relative keys. Cheers from Belgium, Thomas
Fine playing but certainly different from what I conceive of as country. One might consider a different approach when playing a country ballad for instance.
Always remember we must repent of our sins (sin is transgression The Law Of Yahuah The Father in Heaven. The Law are The Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy). We must repent of our sins and Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that we can be forgiven of our sins! Come to HIM🙂
Love it! Really opens up so many different voicings.
This is sweet! I'd love to see more content!
That’s a sweet sound. DADGAD is my all time favorite tuning.
Well done, Brother! Love the sound you are getting! Thanks for sharing - certainly getting rethinking country and DADGAD. Keep it up!
Subscribed looking forward to more content from you sounds great
Wow truly amazing 👏
Haha! I’ve subscribed to this great channel and await the next super great hit!
Nice work bro. Bring it to the next gen.
Excellent sound. Knew it would be good country when I heard his thick Alabama accent. 🌾
great tune my friend...excellent execution and groove...
great, thank you!
Yeah' that be the stuff. Nice!
Congrats. You just figured out how Keith Urban got famous. Nice work, tho. Very nice.

Mighty nice strumming - nobody said country music was boring!

Nice lick. Think I‘ve heard something similar by the Bros. Osborne. Love it

Surprisingly convincing. Change it to 6/8 and it's Irish lol
Reminds me of Keith Urban!

Bonza mate, 🎶 do you come from a land down under “🎶🤪
Indeed - cheers 🙂
@@lukewallace8883 well you better run & you better take cover
Hey mate that sounds a bit like Kieth Urban lick. He musta had same tuning in whatever song I'm thinkn of
I can set that Maton up for ya. Just fly me to where ever you are and put me up for 7 days and we'll call it even.
Cool we need some tabs or tutorial buddy
question...is it standard tuning with the capo on 2nd?
DADGAD tuning - not standard. You could do something similar in E in standard tuning, using no capo.
@@lukewallace8883 thanks man 🤙
Country has a groove? Okay then.😅
Is that Jose Gonzales song Heartbeats?
Thanks for email. This piece was not based around any particular song, rather just an example of a chord progression in DADGAD. Cheers.
Do normal chords you would play in standard E still work. Don’t get how those formations could still work if you change the underlying tuning
It would be difficult to play in standard tuning as you would lose the full sound and playability
Fine playing but certainly different from what I conceive of as country. One might consider a different approach when playing a country ballad for instance.
True that it is not traditional country. Thanks for the comment - always good to hear people's thoughts 🙂
Has a Keith Urban feel to me. Would have been better with a pick though. A little too much scratching with the fingers.
Sounds José Gonzalez inspired

Sounds like Keith Urban
Only Jimmy Page could possibly make country cool, and then only under sufferance, because it's God!
Why is that country? Doesn’t sound like country to me but whatever. Sounds nice regardless.
