Why do they keep bringing up witnesses to prove he was a drug addict and alcoholic? That's been established. But where is the hard evidence proving he was hitting or abusive to anyone? Where are the photos, videos, recordings?

One time many years ago I spent 2 hours trying to put together a chair. I was so frustrated that the one part in the diagram wasn't gripping and kept slipping out that finally I flipped out, threw the stupid chair across the kitchen, swore at it, and stomped my little feet around the living room for 10 minutes. My mom saw the whole thing and shook her head at me and said 'you're just like your dad'. Then she fixed the chair in about 5 minutes. My point is, that even though I threw something out of frustration and my mom could testify if she were called, it would not be indicative of my behavior towards people. A bottle (or chair) to the head is much more significant than it flying aimlessly across the room. Stupid behavior, but not criminal.

I'm 5ft and lived in small units joined together. The man next door to me who was just on 6ft he in his 50s I was in my middle 40s, for over a year I had tried everything to stop him playing music so loud people weren't sure if it was me or him, I'm a hsp so the bass made me want to skewer my own ears, finally out of desperation, I turned his power off, because it's on my doorstep, and waited with the longest sharpest knife I own, when he came over, I stood up so fast he nearly fell over, and whispered, I will not! Tolerate your selfish childish arrogant loud music any longer..I will have it stop, I will turn your power back on just know I've reached breaking point...he left, half hour later I felt guilty, went over and apologised and he started crying, we both said sorry, we've both had trauma, we both struggled with various forms of anxiety that eventually like hot and cold air, turned into thunder, neither of us are violent, we were both just coping with different problems in different ways, another time I threw and old 📼 vhs cover at the wall that joined our units, and it bounced back and smacked me in the face 🤭😄 maybe I should have pressed charges on myself lol. I'm not violent I was struggling hard 🙂🕊.

Both , both!, legal teams have agreed the content of the video - which is why it was allowed to be shown. You might find it odd, but it reflects what the Depp team agreed to have shown too.
I’m not saying Johnny is innocent on everything being accused of. I just don’t understand if he was that abusive, why wasn’t he in jail. Yes money may talk, but in extreme cases of abuse it doesn’t matter. Amber only got a restraining order, no Dr reports etc. Fake pictures and to me when I have a nose bleed I’m gonna feel blood like snot running. For those that don’t remember, Barkin was a very hot and sexy actress in her youth. She probably did not have a choice about testifying in this case and appeared to be honest. When you receive a subpoena you show up. I don’t think her testimony hurt Depp as we all know he is an addict. There have been many episodes of violent behavior in his past.

ALOT of people who had a parent or parents who were abusive to them end up medicating themselves in later lives with alcohol and/or drugs to try to escape the pain that it caused them! I applaud Johnny for trying to get clean a number of times and work through his issues in therapy. It isn’t easy!! What bothers me about all of this is: Is this a trial on Johnny’s drinking and drug abuse OR is this a trial on PHYSICAL VIOLENCE ON JOHNNY or AMBER?!!! This trial reminds me too much of a rape trial: bring up the VICTIM’S CHARACTER (and the way they dress) so it looks like they asked for it! TOTAL B.S.!!!

Not sure how old you are but Ellen was hot in the nineties.. she didn’t appear like “a sleazy old lady”. She was a fine actress & a major star.
@@seesthruit I'm 65. The only show/movie EB was ever decent in was as Smurf in Animal Kingdom. I never considered her a fine actress or a major star and/or hot. She did marry well though. Just my opinion. I respect your very different opinion as well.

The lawsuit is about physical and sexual abuse..not him being drunk and smashing stuff...I would left by the first joint..or first drunken display of misconduct...but she stayed, pushed his button and played along...she fueled this sick relationship .Both of them are very selfish.
No the lawsuit is about defamation. She planned this hoax to set him up and she used sexual assault and domestic violence to extort money from him. He lost jobs as a result of the lies. No relationship is perfect but she clearly had a plan.
