Great job as always, but one point of disagreement I have is about New Toys Don't Stand a Chance. You make it seem like rather a niche card, but I've found it essential to winning as Lotso. Because of Bonnie's Toys and The Claw, if you're bringing Heroes down to 0 Strength one at a time, your progress is just going to be constantly undone. I've had much more success getting everyone into Caterpillar Room first, then playing New Toys to bring everyone down to 0 all at the same time for the win. Because of Rex, and Woody having 5 strength, you have put in a little more work than just that, but this forms the core of it, I think.
I approve of this message. And it is something I have come to reconsider - this video was made long ago. And there are some things I would like to change but couldn’t.
@@LordoftheBoard yeah, that's one of the perks of wiki articles - I can go back and edit them pretty easily (and some of the early ones definitely needed editing lol)
The pixar villains I'd love to see: Hopper - Collect enough grain from the ants and defeat Queen Phyills Diller to show them who's boss Charles Muntz - Capture Kevin and escape South America Randall - Beat Sulley's ultimate scare record Ernesto de la Cruz - Start your turn more popular than Hector
As much as I would love Randall, they'd probly pick Waternoose and have Randall as an ally. Most likely to start his turn with so much screams. I'd also like Ernesto as I love Coco

When did expandalone 6 come out?
I can't believe nobody is talking about Lotso's Fate capacity. If he doesn't have heroes at The Library or The Playground, he is an unstoppable Fate machine which, depending on his opponent, can be absolutely devastating.
Lotso’s downfall is usually two heroes in the Library, a hero in the Playground and a hero at the Landfill. If you don’t discard when you pull off Something Snapped he could be in a bad spot. But Fating with him can slow him down
Suggestion: A mini series expanding Villains strategies based off of their fate decks. Reason: Some heroes (especially Lotso) have very rough fate decks. Knowing what fate cards could be used and cant be used may change what cards/actions you decide to use or hold onto. Example: I played against lotso about 5 times (and won every time) before I tried him myself, at that point I knew what fates hurt him (Bonnies Toys, The Claw, and Andys looking for us) since the 1st 2 are the most common and have a common theme (targeting 0 strength heroes) my strategy developed into reducing every heroes strength to 1, so that those cards cant be used. Then once I was ready, i'd reduce Rex, send him to the caterpillar room, and reduce everyone else's strength to win. And I hope you dont take this as saying your videos are bad, I love watching them and learning different ways of playing a villain, I just feel the fate deck is just important as the villain deck.
The main reason I don’t add in the fate deck possibilities is you don’t control what happens - all you can do is focus on how to react to what happens. A player who isn’t as experienced may never play the bad fate cards on you just because they don’t know. There are just so many variables with how opponents play against you. So many different skill levels. Mabye a side series however we are 24 villains in now: even side series are a huge commitment 😂
I have definitely understand Lotso more now he is more of that mob boss with discarding a lot and he is super situational. I also like to look at the fate discard pile a lot to have a better way to reduce strength and avoid Claws.
I always had the best luck putting Stretch in the Landfill area because if a hero is blocking the vanquish icon when you need it, you can move them to wherever and use another ally to vanquish them next turn. You can even move Buzz Lightyear to that location to get them to Caterpillar Room faster.
This is true, but only a good idea if you can be sure Rex won't appear at the Caterpillar Room, as then Stretch is pretty much the only thing that can move him out so you can reduce his strength
I have found the best Lotso technique is more to avoid the claw more than anything. If you don't turn any heroes to zero the only fates affecting you are really Andy's Looking For Us and One Way Out, then if you get Rex to zero by himself all you have to do is manage the strength of the three others still in the caterpillar room until you can move Rex and play New Toys Don't Stand a chance or Locked Up depending on how managed the strength is.
I got Bigger and Badder for Easter and me and my dad played last week this expansion for the first time (we've played the game and other expansions before) and I was Lotso and he was Syndrome and I won as my first time playing Lotso. The one thing is that there was a period during our game where is was a complete just dead end of us just discarding cards and drawing new ones because the 2 characters are specific and dependent on cards
Please help me. When i play "something snapped" does the card discarded mean just a card discarded from a discard token action or does discarding a card mean anything that goes into a discard pile?
It's kinda hilarious that Rex is the weakest Hero but somehow the most frustrating. If he's played to the Caterpillar Room too soon, it's nearly impossible to get him out.
Am sorry my question will not be about lotso (even if he is one of my favorite villain) but ravensburger plan to add new extention to villainous Disney and marvel?
Thanks for the video :-) As asked in the Syndrome comments, what happens if there are no heroes left in the Fate deck? Can Welcome To Sunnyside still be played or Big Baby's ability used? If so, how does that work? When would you stop revealing cards? Also, can Original Factory Settings and Spanish Mode be played if Buzz cannot be flipped in order to make use of the rest of the Effects on those cards? Or can they only be played if Buzz can be flipped as well?
You would reveal cards for an infinite amount of time and nobody wins. Lol. Or you would reveal cards until you cycle the deck - reshuffle - reveal. Then once you have revealed an entire refreshed deck. Stop and move on to the next action
I was so disappointed in the wording of 4 heroes and Buzz... Basically, I was expecting more heroes, like Scar's deck. It should have said ALL heroes. And I guess they really could have added more heroes, like potato head, army guys, Bo, and Slinky! Such a disappointment in the deck.
I agree, my strategy with Lotso is to NEVER have a hero at 0 strength (except Rex) and then drop them all down to 0 all in one fell swoop to win the game. Otherwise.... THE CLAWWWWWW.

His last ranking didn’t include Despicable Plots, with Gaston, Lady Tremaine and the Horned King because they weren’t out when he made it

Who do you want in the next expantion?

It has to be the Discard action or from Madam Mim’s Battle of Wits
