Just recently found your channel and am learning a lot. I have been thrifting for years but usually give things away or just keep them. I think I’ll try selling. Thanks!
Such an excited thumb nail title Sales are up what sold ...I love it. I love this format too, I really like how you show item on big screen with all the important details, you speak fluently, clear and no pauses. These videos are perfected. Great job
Great video Kat! I just sold a Pier 1 skirt as I was watching you talk about how well Pier 1 does for you 😂. Great video and all your hard work has paid off because you’re sales indicate that ❤
I think those folks who aren't selling just aren't paying attention to the market and trends. We have to always keep in mind who we are actually reselling to. These are the same people who can't believe you sell volume you do ;-) Thank you for all of the informative videos
That's a relief to know you've sold items after a year...I always thought if it doesn't sell in a month it never will...good to know to be patient. Thanks for this video. :)
Great video as always and thank you! Quick question: why did you a couple of times suggest selling lower priced items on Mercari specifically as opposed to higher priced items?
Thank you Kat, for all your fantastic information. I’ve been a silent watcher for a while, you are by far one of my favorites. I have branched out my inventory since finding your channel, and I’m having tons more fun sourcing!
First time watcher, im sure you have said a million times already but which site do you enjoy selling more and has formats to make it easier to list and sale? 1 being best, Mercari , Poshmark, ebay, also not sure if you do but if you do sale through Amazon can you rate it with the others as well. Im an old reseller but not much exp on these sites but i intend on changing that part. Thx in advance God Bless
eBay typically will generate the most sales, but I would say poshmark and mercari are going to be easier to learn. I think that learning ebay first would be the most beneficial. I used to do amazon, but it just wasn't for me.
Hi Kat, another great video, thanks! Are you referring to online auctions that you were purchasing from? If So would you mind mind sharing the website? Thank you!
Hi Kat! Thank you for the great video. With list perfectly, have you tried to use the AI feature with jewlery and purses? If it works I might be able to get back in the groove of listing again instead of buying and not listing.😂
I have quite a few pack with me videos (they're a bit older) and I also have one on instapak using it to pack breakables here ua-cam.com/video/LMbc-yawkPo/v-deo.html
The naysayer must not be on eBay . I have an odds and ends shop and while I may not regularly find holy grails to sell, my $10-$400 items move and I earn about $1500-2k a week. My quickest sales are usually from my death pile. It’s true some big UA-camrs have relied more on being an influencer than selling once they become popular, but I see your store updated regularly and everyone can see how many sales a person has. You work hard and research current comps, and that’s key for any seller whether they have a social presence or not.
I don't get a chance to watch much anymore, but my go to were The Antique Nomad, Crazy Lamp Lady, Jride Flips, Flashback Finds, and Prime Time Treasure Hunter are ones I did watch :D
When you list AS IS, do you still offer free returns? As of now, i have free returns because i want to keep top rated plus status. I have a couple of lower dollar things that i dont want to offer free returns on because they aren't really worth paying return shipping. Do you have to offer free returns on EVERY item to maintain top rated plus status?
Thanks for all the great info. I have a question for you and any followers who have experience. Have you used pirate ship? Is it legit? Any problems? Ok 3 questions.
No I don't deduct taxes because the sales tax is zeroed out paid by buyer right back to the state, but as far as income taxes go that depends on deductions etc so figuring that per item would be virtually impossible until the end of the year.
Kat thank you for the opportunity to learn what sells! U da best. ❤
You are so welcome!
Thanks, Kat. I really like these videos because they're so educational.
I'm so glad!
Just recently found your channel and am learning a lot. I have been thrifting for years but usually give things away or just keep them. I think I’ll try selling. Thanks!
You should it could be a great extra income 😃

Thank you I appreciate that!
Love your authentic vids Kat. You inspire me to source as low as possible. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
Dave and I enjoy watching your channel! We want to get down that way to thrift more. Praying your family is not affected by this storm. 🙏🙏
Thanks so much it's a bit windy and rainy I think worst is supposed to be about 1am
You are awesome Kat!

Love the newer format. Thank you so much for all the information, as always!
Glad you enjoy it!

You're very welcome :-)
That's a relief to know you've sold items after a year...I always thought if it doesn't sell in a month it never will...good to know to be patient. Thanks for this video. :)
Oh nooo if that was the case I would hardly have any items lol
A month??? Good heavens. That would be nice for your entire inventory to sell in one month 😂
Polo Ralph Lauren / Lauren Ralph Lauren anything always does well for me..some bread & butter & some high dollar :)
Good to know
I just realized recently I have the smart sizer. 🤦🏼♀️😆 how awesome is that! I’m loving it, and so far it seems spot on!
That is awesome!
Great video as always and thank you! Quick question: why did you a couple of times suggest selling lower priced items on Mercari specifically as opposed to higher priced items?
I sell higher as well, but on ebay and poshmark on lower items the fees take the majority of the money in fees
Thank you Kat, for all your fantastic information. I’ve been a silent watcher for a while, you are by far one of my favorites. I have branched out my inventory since finding your channel, and I’m having tons more fun sourcing!
Wow, thank you! I appreciate you watching :-)
I find lace all the time @ the bins and it always sells fast and for good money. Put the tag "ephemeral" and "junk journal" somewhere in there.
OHHHHHHHHH yeah great idea I might go back and add to some of mine

Yes I am! I have a couple videos on the different ones I use if you search nurse flipper auctions you should find them. The main one I use is hibid
@@TheNurseFlipperThank you.. Have been wondering the same. Long time (quiet) listener 😊

I have and it has identified some stones and it does well with stamps as well as long as you get good clear photos of them!
What are you using for the background on your pics?
Photoroom
Hi I sold a goat to your friend CLL I was surprised at my auction on NN !!!! I was not expecting that but she made it fun 😊❤❤❤
No gost
Oh that's awesome!
Do you have a video on packing?
I have quite a few pack with me videos (they're a bit older) and I also have one on instapak using it to pack breakables here ua-cam.com/video/LMbc-yawkPo/v-deo.html

Yes very true I know a few who content creation is first for them and they are pretty open about that, but for us eBay is our main thing :-)
QUESTION: At 4:15 you talked about how you learned by watching other videos. I'm curious as to what your top 5 You Tubers are/were. Thanks, Kat!
I don't get a chance to watch much anymore, but my go to were The Antique Nomad, Crazy Lamp Lady, Jride Flips, Flashback Finds, and Prime Time Treasure Hunter are ones I did watch :D
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it

I do free returns on everything in my store, but you can always just issue a refund and tell them don't bother shipping it back
Thanks for all the great info. I have a question for you and any followers who have experience. Have you used pirate ship? Is it legit? Any problems? Ok 3 questions.
It is good we use it frequently it is our go to for direct sales :)
@@TheNurseFlipper so not Ebay?
excuse my ignorance but what do you mean by boutique?
On poshmark if the item is new with tags you can add it to your "boutique" section
Interesting how much lace sells for.
yes, it has surprised me for sure
Hello Kat are you deducting taxes? You say pay out $19....$15 profit.
No I don't deduct taxes because the sales tax is zeroed out paid by buyer right back to the state, but as far as income taxes go that depends on deductions etc so figuring that per item would be virtually impossible until the end of the year.
