Nice vid mate. We've got 4x4 Sprinters at work. I keep telling the guys that although the body is higher, due to the lift, the subframes/axles are exactly the same height as a standard 2wd sprinter. The overall ground clearance hasn't changed, but the articulation in the suspension has. It will still ground out at the same point . It still looks better though😜
Thank you! Yeah that’s correct. Although when they fit the 33inch tyres or larger, that will then increase the ground clearance. I can only dream of owning one at the moment lol.
I’ve just recently bought a lift kit for our Vivaro mk1, but they forgot to send the standoff hex would you know what size & length I need to get anyhelp would be appreciated 😁
Unfortunately if I haven’t mentioned the measurements in the video then I wouldn’t have a clue. And I can’t measure them for you now because they’re inaccessible when fitted. I would message the supplier and tell them there are parts missing.
All I’ve found so far are suspension kits to lower them. I did find an upgrade for the rear to increase the weight limit but it was for the newer model. I’ll keep on digging and if I find something I’ll let you know. Might be worth contacting blistein or someone direct as sometimes they can do a custom kit.
Keep up the good work mate 🙌🏻
Nice job mate ✌️
Love this pal.. Cant wait to see this finished along with the rest of the projects.. ; )

looks good mate but i want to drop my trafic a bit i put 225 x 50 x 17s on bmw alloys and find the gap from tyres to arch to wide like to lower it 3mm
I think trafics look really good lowered. Pretty sure there’s off the shelf kits to lower them and a similar procedure to fit as I done in this video.
If you have a L1H1 2700 Trafic, you can use L2H2 2900 or 3200 Springs, they are much longer.
That’s interesting to know. Are the shocks a different length too?
Its not true
Are the springs for the LWB version harder or longer? Thank you for the material 💪
If you mean the standard springs, I think they’re the same as the swb springs.

If you didn't lengthen the shocks all you have done is stiffen the springs and the rebound will be hard
I assume you mean on the rear as the front spacers are on the shocks. Can you elaborate on how adding a spacer will stiffen a spring?
Any ideas on a suspension upgrade tp go with the off road tyres ? have the same van getting the same kit. any help greatly appreciated

100% correct.👌i reckon.
Where did you get the lift kit from
I got it off eBay. I’ll pop the link in the description.
easiest way to Fcccc your axles and joints up.
I doubt it’s the easiest. Do you have any evidence/testing of this? Plus the good thing is it’s easily removable if bush’s wear quickly.
@@EndlessRoadJaz axles will not work in optimal position/alignment hence it will wear out ast think about it
