Looking forward to the MP9 receiver they are making for this , love the fact that there are so many parts available to make this what you want it to be
Got the metal upper a few weeks ago. It´s indeed very well made, BUT its super tight. Had to file and grind a bit to get the bolt going. The other problem I had was with the outer barrel. It just came loose all the time, especially when using a silencer. And I´m talking about the metal outer, not the plastic one. So I printed a barrel stabilizer that slides into the 2 notches of the handguard. It´s pretty much bulletproof now and you can´t see it from the outside. For the shortstroking I just used a rubber plate as a buffer behind the spring holder and 2 additional smaller and harder springs in front for a bit of a heavier "recoil". So far its running great...
Cheers James I've just ordered, mine is getting a longer inner barrel and hop rubber, dropped off this morning at the tec at the site myself and my son play at. Loving the Ghm9,
I appreciate you doing this. I picked one up and that was what I was wondering. What if you added a little preload to the springs? But also getting the measurement right to optimize and not hinder the system. Thanks for making this video. It really is a cool little replica. Like a baby vector.
Few things I've noticed on mine. Using a 50 round Glock mag I experience intermittent auto on semi, Maybe the pressure causing issues there. Also experienced the outer barrel constantly getting heavy wobble and even coming completely loose even when I've used loctite to secure the grub screws. Have you seen any of this?
So I'm completely blind and the first time I disassembled my GHM nine I absolutely fucked up the springs, so if you made stronger replacements I would absolutely buy them. I bet you folks in the HRC would as well
I took some 3/16 clear tubing cut two pieces. After cutting and test fitting I found 1/2 inch was the right measurement to allow it to cycle fully and lock the bolt back. It's way snappier and the bolt returns home with more force. Hope it helps.
@william.mcintyre 3/16 is the outer diameter. It's commonly used for fish tanks or on smaller air pump. It's usually clear and pretty stiff. I cut my pieces to a 1/2 an inch and put one on each guide rod, then put springs on. Essentially, you're slightly compressing springs so they are stiffer. It still locks back on empty and has a good rate of fire. I hope this helps and have a good day.
The gas released is shorter due to the tougher spring but if the spring is too strong it won’t do a full cycle and fail to lock back or even feed. It would be best to have a spring guide with two springs. A weaker one to start and a stronger one to kick the bolt back. Tokyo Marui do it very well on with there new gas blowback shotgun. It’s a very cool balancing act to tune all these guns perfectly for efficiency and performance.

Have you made the barrel stabiliser available publicly? I'm having the same issues
Mine is getting bound up between the top of the metal receiver and the auto sear, what part did you end up filing to fix yours?
Yeah would be great if you can make the barrel spacer public having trouble stabilizing once the SD Kit is on.

Loving the Ghm9,
Just ordered mine! Can’t wait to film with it!
How does this gun work with co2 Glock mags? I have some already for my sidearm and would love to be able to use the same mags for this

I have this issue too. Figuring out how to hold the outer in place especially with the SD kit
what’s the length and diameter of the spacers?
Yeah I wana know this too so I can do it to mine
Have you tried on the TTI Glock mags on it? I was just wondering if you had the time to try them.
If you mean the super lightweight ones I've been using them on mine with no issues at all
Archwick APC-9k is awesome, gonna need a nice custom suppressor for it tho, with space for a tracer unit 😉😉
Genius!

Do you ship to Oklahoma?
i dont have a 3d printer but i do have some masking tape and its perfect ahahaha
I shortstroked mine by putting a few 20p pieces between the rubber and the butt plate.
You got the dimensions for the 3d file perhaps ?

@@juliusjones7876 Is 3/16 the inner or outer diameter? And what is the other diameter for the tubing?

I think metal upper they still in developing
I would have thought that increasing the spring pressure would decrease the gas efficiency, I'm surprised it does the opposite

Such a good looking gun, right up until you put a mag in 😂
Do those spacers increase the velocity of the shot fired, or does this just help with the bolt not being as sloppy?
James I've sent you an email about the e-mail hopped barrel
Must have missed it ill get it replied to shortly
@@Jaeger-Precision thanks mate, sent it a week ago
sold out
More on the way
