Dethleffs Magic Edition T3 DBM motorhome review

This vehicle is 741cm long, 233cm wide and has an authorised total weight of 3850 kg which would give more than 700kg of payload - of course you may choose to put it onto 3,500kg. It has a maximum of three sleeping berths and a height of 294 cm.
A really outstanding feature is the long panoramic skylights which would allow light to stream in!
It has a starting price of GBP68k.

Reducing the gross allowable weight to 400kg is not practicable . 4 adults coul use that allowance with nothing left for water, gas, outdoor furniture, bikes, etc let alone good and clothes.

Irritates me when motorhome manufacturers say they can class a low profile coach built van over 7m at
3500.kg Mine is only 7m and with just two of us two cycles in garage . Yes full water gas and fuel We are at 38oo kg. therefore had to do the upgrade . As last reply totally impracticable to put this van on 3500kg because some of that 400 will be water and gas .so these figures are never true anyway

Hi Martin..could you please give me any information on how to upgrade from 3500kg ,,how much? do I need to change suspension ,tyre's ..I'm just about to buy MH and don't have enough payload ..Kind regards Paul
