I-185 is durable indeed, I had one game where I messed up awfully and hit some trees halfway through the map. Made it back to the base with half a wing on one side, no wing on the other and a lot of prayers to the snail
Had a wing cut off in the 109 and made it back to base leaning on the rudder, great feeling to make it back

For some reason playing the KV2 the Reload seems to warp time and space, and be half the time it says. Until the last 5 seconds, which seem to take forever.
Because you are expecting it to take long. Like the IS series

Whereas in the FV-4005 it's necessary to T-4-5 "Reloading! 00:45" so your team know you're out of combat for the best part of a minute

Day 200: Of asking phly the play the dicker max because it’s 105 is basically cheating at is br and it can survive and they also recently moved it down to 3.7
God those German super caliber open top TDs can’t escape the downtier
Its really useless at that br, i take it out 5.3-5.7 if the map has sniping spots where i can utilise the depression better than a panther. It still one shots
The thing with the dicker at 3.7 is yes, it will kill quite literally anything you shoot with it but things are fast enough to flank at that br. I like uptiering it to 5.3 on purpose, the gun is essentially just as effective (might have to aim on a couple targets) and the tanks are slower in general so you don't have some random tank pull up on you from your side of the map

Yo Phly, in the first game me and my friend (HeatedLake and T20Happier) were so excited to see you. I was waiting for this video. Also I never thought the kv-2 could get any deadlier. Also I’m glad you would sacrifice yourself for me, but I tried doing it the other way around.
Phly idk if you'll read this but I've been watching your channel since I just started highschool, now 10 years ago. Somehow you still manage to be entertaining and have a great personality. Thanks for the years of entertainment and being down to earth and relatable with myself and most likely the majority of your viewers. @11:49 I'm not exactly sure why or when but somehow the KV tank's rear armour is a little more armoured than it used to be. I have fired a German 75mm from a panzer 4/StuG at the rear head on no angle close range, it bounces :/ must be volumetric

The G.55´s flight model was broken from the start, it´s pretty much a 109 on steroids~ but of course we all know the italians fly the G.55 to this day since it is the bestest most awesome aircraft ever produced.. along with the Yak-3 and Yak-9 serious of course. I love using the I-185 M-82. That aircraft is a 3.7 but I still use it in the 6.3 range because of its cannons and 2 - 250kg bombs. Highly recommend for the Russians in Ground RB 👍

As a new player I think going for the Russian line first was a great idea. Currently derringer my way through 2.3 with the su 122 and going for the kv1 with the l11. Then either the t34 or something and the kv2

WT low tier ("is best tier") always reminds me of playing BF1942. It's like if WW2 was a cartoon. It's the most fun you can have in all gaming.
You forget that 19 of 20 players are bots that have no programming past Drive, See, Shoot At. Anything more would overheat and emergency shutdown their processor.
when i played a lot of lower level WoT the KV-2 was the stuff of nightmares for me, impossible to pen and always one shot me. When i started playing war thunder i thought it wasnt going to be as bad to fight, and it wasnt. its worse.
edit: that clip starting at 9:50 has been my exact experience, my m61 shot on the m4a1 with 104mm of pen at 10m cant pen a kv2 anywhere at around 10m even though the protection analysis says it should go clean through where i shot after the match, it even says it should go through the back and sides at 500m but nope, just doesnt

I-185 has always been ridiculous. i really don’t know why nobody ever used it. same goes the Ki-43III that thing is even more bonkers. you outturn everything, have 2x20mm guns and 2x250kg bombs.
I'd start with the weekender bag and see if anything in that kills me and then move on to the mail order shellfish. Ease into the deep end.
