Fun pattern! I wanted to use a much larger skein of lace weight so I made a shawl instead. Your directions are clear. My only suggestion/request would be naming what the count is at the beginning so one can make it in other sizes. It wasn’t clear to me how many stitches took up the border until I watched quite a ways in. It’s a great starter lace project for beginners. I appreciate the visual as I can’t read patterns yet. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach me!
lovely scarvand good explaination thanks although I use UK terms I can see which st you do. I have Skein of locally spun Alpaca yarn I have looking for ages for a pattern and think this would be ideal.
I love this however some of your instructions are confusing. I know at the beginning of a Lacey project like this at first it just looks like w tangled mess. A pattern will start to show soon but I’m having a hard time following you. I’m sure it’s just me, everyone else seems to be doing a great job. I’d love to know how to make this a big wider so it can be worn as a shawl. Thanks
Uhm is it just me or is anyone else having trouble with ending up with less than 33 double crochets after making the 35 base chain? I am not getting 33 😔
I couldn’t follow this . On row two she said you will have 15 DCs , but with the two at each end or the border that’s 19. I couldn’t get any further than that. Listening to what she said row three had sections of 4 DC not 5. I just couldn’t follow it
Ok, I figured it out. I am used to making doilies where the stitches are tighter. I also was using a 3.50 since I did not have a 3.75 for some reason (I have every other size). Anyway, I ripped it and started over with a 4.00 and am making the stitches looser and I gained 2". The instructions say it's 6" wide, so I am now on target.
Sondra Swenson, it’s in the pattern! The link to pattern is included in the description box under the video. Just click on the little symbol on the top right corner under the video box!
It’s very pretty, thank you Ms. Kelly. Love your tutorials! ❤️ Can you please share the stitch repetition count in case I would want to make this pattern wider, or even turn it into wrap? T.I.A.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work Tamara.
I don't know if I will ever attempt a fingering weight scarf. The lace designs are lovely.
It's beautiful. I will put this on my Crochet "Bucket List".
Just finished making it and it's so gorgeous, I love it! Thankyou very much. T C 😊💜

What is the multiple to make this wider? Thank you❤🌹😷🌐💖💗👍
How many multiples if I want to make this wider or shorter?
Am trying this but mine isn’t looking exactly the same. Not sure if you have to stitch tighter in some places or if just needs blocked at the end.
Turned out beautifully. I used a #3 weight yarn
Pretty! 💙💙💙
Good job 👏. It's amazing 🥰😘

Very easy video to follow 👍🏾
beautiful scarf, This would also make a nice shawl.
Lovely scarf, but, unfortunately for me, me and fine yarns don't get along due to arthritic fingers! Can other thicker yarns be substituted??
I am in the same boat! Due to my arthritis Plus my MS will not allow me to do the thinner Yarns.
I am going to try it with a thicker one and let you know how it turns out!!!
@@misscarolinaqueen5673 Thank you do much, will look forward to your answer!!
This is very pretty! Unfortunately I cannot use the thin yarn. Could you please let me know if you have any 6 weight yarn patterns?

Mine is about 4" wide. This does not seem wide enough for an adult.

Ugh I got lost on row 3 lol
how much yarn needed for this work..
My question as well, the ball she uses is 239yds, but does she use the entire thing? I have a ball of 208 yds and I’m wondering if that’s enough.
?Q: Hello! what is the finished size of this beautiful scarf (length & width)? Thanks.

According to pattern, it is 6 inches wide and 78 inches long
