it's called making a read. it's not a superpower, almost all women are extremely good at it compared to men. typically sensitive people are better at it. its ok to break eye contact, but not making eye contact for at least 4-5 seconds shows lack of confidence, trustworthiness, and low communication skills. if you speak while not looking at people they will have a lower perception of your value. sigmas dont care about others perception but in some cases that's a serious flaw.

When in a relationship in the past I became codependent and dropped my boundaries & put my partner's needs and wants above mine with devastating consequences. I am working on that with DBT and CBT. I have made great strides in this and now I am dealing with the emotions that I cannot have a fully immersed and vulnerable relationship. I dont know how to do that but I do trust in the process and as this video states, in the past I could do anything I set my mind to.

I just wonder which phsyciatrist or psychologist did a detailed study of this type of man. It is amazing all the inherent bulit in qualities of a sigma are true to the last word described. These traits are bulit in me/us. Thanks to this analysis now we can understand ourselves better and not feel the odd men/man out and call ourselves as the normal human being.

I may not be a true full-on Sigma Male but I do have these qualities. My resilience won't let me succumb to my MS like the neurologist told me would happen. I can't do things like most people now so I find new ways that work for me. The only failures I have are in the things I haven't attempted. People seem to be inspired by my go-getter attitude. I can't give up or give in just because of some "disability". I call it a disadvantage. I just find a way around it. I'm just ME.

It seems to me, that I have never encountered another man who thinks and reacts like I do, from childhood to old age, it seems that there are quite a few in the comments who wish that they were sigmas, but they really don't sound right in the way that they write. I suffered a lot of grief for my behaviour from school onwards, I don't need to prove myself but it's funny how they make a beeline to me when they need advice.
