I was a Barney Girl and Blues Clues Girl. I was a toddler from 1998-2001, since I was born in 1996. Those are things I got for Christmas besides Barbies, lego duplo sets, Sesame Street Toys, Winnie The Pooh and other Disney toys, Fischer Price Little People toys, Loving Family dollhouses, and got Jumpstart and Disney Interactive Educational PC Games! If anyone also remembers the Adi Boo learning games, I also got those too! Also, Wimzy’s House and Big Comfy Couch were big in my generation too because I got a Wimzy Doll with the two VHS’s for Christmas and a Molly Doll from Big Comfy Couch!
I got an archer figure for christmas one year when I was 5, asked for it so much that I got it. along with the small soldiers board game, then a few years later my parents took me to their favorite secret surf spot and I found a chip hazard figure washed up from the ocean with only one arm and a few corals stuck to it.

When I pulled it out fully and saw it was an N64 I was like wait till all my friends see me now. I felt like the coolest kid on the block.
Unfortunately, i didnt grow up in the 80s/90s, i was a early 2000s kid. But my favorite cristmas memory was when i ran downstairs one morning to find a brand new playstation 2 under the tree with a new copy of pac man world 2. I remember that ps2 becoming my prized possesion and i still play pac man world 2 religiously to this day.
My favorite gift that my parents got me was a GameBoy Pocket with the GameBoy Camera and the little GameBoyCamera printer! And i still have it till this day! i dont play it anymore but it's the nostalgia for me.

Yes, loved that one, Season 1 was the best and so was Pokemon Indigo League. Hey Digimon was the best battle song ever. I would watch it almost every day with my brother during Summer if we weren't playing outside. I also remember the episode where Kari got overheated and turned a ghostly white and in the flashback, when Kari passed out from overheating and Tai's mom slapped him HARD in the hospital, OUCH, poor Tai 😢.

I remember some of these toys being popular in the UK as well. I queued up at 5am outside my local Toys R Us trying to get Power Rangers figures, they were a nightmare to get hold of. Some toys like Teletubbies had people fighting over them.
I always loved getting my WCW & WWF wrestling action figures for Christmas! And CD's. The #1 gift that I asked for and couldn't believe my mom actually got; was my Honda XR100 Dirtbike! Needless to say I was the coolest kid in town (or so I thought anyways).
I wanted a Sega CD for Christmas and got it. I was so excited for CD power! and it came with Sewer Shark and man I was so disappointed. I still have it though. I also have a 1992 Sears Wishbook which was the last Wishbook ever made. At least until they tried to reboot it to save the brand. But it was too late.
Sega cd is an awesome system. Some games weren't very good but there's a ton of good ones. Definitely my favorite system to collect for. Very pricey at that too.

I was prettty upset; My older sisters boyfriend at the time was such a great person. It was such a suprise to get that gift. Makes me really apreciate it. He straight up got me one. I remember dreaming at Christmas time going through the catalogs. The late 80's and early 90's were the best time to be a kid in every way. Super Nintendo with A Link to The Past, SEGA Fighting System, The G.I. JOE General, Ninja Turtles Technodrome. The music, the cartoons, the movies, in literally every way. We were kinda poor when I was younger, so usually we only ever got cheaper toys around Christmas. I really wanted Woody from Toy Story but I didn't really expect to get one. Imagine my surprise on Christmas morning when I unwrapped my favorite Pixar cowboy! I still have him, although he is a little worn and weathered.

Not the 90s but the Christmas of 88 when I got the original 4 tmnt Turtles. I had no idea what they were but instantly loved them.

I loved Maple town toys! not a lot of ppl knew about them but they were popular girls toys of the 90s and even had a TV show!! Man I miss Maple Towns!
I had all the characters, the house and the cars!

My mom couldn’t really get us anything expensive. We lived check by check; but one Christmas I remembered, she got me a gameboy. I was the happiest kid.
Between my SNES and my N64. My mind was blown I enjoyed both so much.
I remember dreaming at Christmas time going through the catalogs. The late 80's and early 90's were the best time to be a kid in every way. Super Nintendo with A Link to The Past, SEGA Fighting System, The G.I. JOE General, Ninja Turtles Technodrome. The music, the cartoons, the movies, in literally every way. I may be bias but I'm also right!

Can’t believe tickle me elmo wasn’t a top selling one. I got a game boy pocket with Pokémon red for Christmas and I still play it and beat it at least once a year. I’ll be in a retirement home still playing that game haha.
I loved these toys and had almost all these toys lol. My cousin had the tickle me elmo one. I still have my tamogatchis and furbies. Still have my pokemon memorabilia and toys too. Mattel and Bandai come out with the best toys I swear to hell. My faves.
Best Christmas moment was 1999 getting the DK64 Jungle green system set. Best memory ever.
We were kinda poor when I was younger, so usually we only ever got cheaper toys around Christmas. I really wanted Woody from Toy Story but I didn't really expect to get one. Imagine my surprise on Christmas morning when I unwrapped my favorite Pixar cowboy! I still have him, although he is a little worn and weathered.

I remember it vividly. A N64 with Super Mario 64, Pokemon Snap, and Beetle Adventure Racing. I still have them today.
