Just wanted to announce that the optional upgrade counters and map which were previously only on BGG are now included in each PDF game purchase for your convenience. Thanks again to Mr. Sean Forehand for his labor of love in making these happen. Also, one minor correction regarding suppression. When a unit is fired upon, it receives one suppression marker and one suppression marker only regardless of how many hits it takes from the unit that fired upon it. If fired at again it, it would again only receive one suppression marker regardless of how many hits are registered. Suppression is however cumulative. Great video Derek, many thanks!
Lol Derek, ice cream man just want to be on UA-cam,I'm thoroughly convinced. Derek great review again, looks fun and seems like a quick play game which lots of wargamers with families will surely like.
As always a very helpful review although I could do without the star image behind the written rules as it will not be easy on my poor eyes when reading them...thanks
Howdy Paul:) PL is indeed heavily influenced by ASL, among other systems as well. The idea here, though, is accessibility and smooth, realistic game play.
I want to like this game (over ASL) but the suppression markers and other markers is a bit fiddly when placed under the the group markers. :/ I like the rules however. Otherwise great review. ^^ Edit: Oh. I forgot: The star image in the rules? Not to my liking.
This game sounds great... in many ways it sounds like a rendition of "Ambush"... where did you find that business on BGG for the improved units... art, boards? Great reviews... how do you find this game?
The link to H&S Games is in the video description, Jim :) Good news! The improved artwork is no longer a separate download! It comes with the purchase of the game from H&S! Glad you're enjoying the videos :)

Sweet I've been waiting for this one.
Counters are no smaller than those you would find in ASL or Combat Commander.
Again great intro!
Thx for review. Now I thinking to get one for myself...
i love the opening ^_^
Is it me, or do those maps look like ASL maps, including the font used for hex codes?
Howdy Paul:)
