Great graphics, Amazing music on par with Guilty Gear X2, Solid fighting mechanics, Pretty balanced asides from the boss/EX characters and great online. Didn't care much for the story as always but a solid fighting game that people need to play. Probably my favorite one from the last generation.
+sofija1996 apparently the steam version on PC has fixed netcode, never tried it myself but I've heard its a massive improvement over the console version's netcode.

Not enough Hwa Jai love in here so I'll say it. That dude is my favorite character in the KOF13 roster and i always fitted him in teams so i can keep hearing this song.
AoF's team members have very different movesets. They have some similarities. But, If you look at things like Ryo's counters and Robert's special kicks, its vastly different. Takuma plays completely different too. Plus, their supers, and combos work differently.
It would actually make more sense to have Yuri vs. Dan. Dan is a parody of SNK fighters. Yuri is a parody of Capcom fighters. Or Yuri and Akuma, because they both have similar movesets.
Actually Juri's just seeking revenge on Seth & Bison. Even Rose can see that just by looking at her and knowing that Juri has a whole better side to her. As a correction i would say Juri's fighting for vengeance & doing what she has to do in order to get close enough to both of them for the kill. xD
Having a rehabilitation team is an integral part of Kim's character design. It gives him a personality and a purpose to participate in KOF. Without it he's just a generic Taekwondo fighter. In KOFXI, he was teamed with Terry and Duck King, and even though Duck King is an interesting design, it did not stop the team from looking incredibly bland like most of the KOFXI teams. Kim always had dynamic partners, sporting the biggest and smallest KOF fighters on his team. That's what makes his teams interesting and his endings hilarious.
True that, sometimes I just forget that the King of Fighters is a tournament, but the tournament never really seemed to have a winner because of all the things that happen behind the scenes lol. But there could be another reason for Kim to participate, like getting his sons and see how strong they have become. But I see what you're saying and it makes sense, because Kim has been participating in KOF with that reason for over 10 years, and KOF fans never stop using him.

As of so far, a triple crossover of that magnitude is unheard of. Too many licensing agreements. There's a strategy RPG coming up soon that has Sega, Namco, and Capcom, but that's the first I've heard of. I wouldn't mind more crossover titles though. ArcSys x SNK or Namco x Tecmo etc.

Sure, he says it at the character select but the thing that gives it a big 'oomph' is the Death Glare towards the enemy along a battle pose like he did in all his intro animations against evil characters up to KOF XI. Without that part, it seems a bit... flat.
I picked Kim not because he's top tier nor for this cool song, but rather to admire the
GODLIKE animation of his pants while I play him.
