Debo the Dink Grabber🤣 My best friend's mantra is " find wood, pitch to wood, get snagged on wood" but my little 2man bass boat gets us to the snags and she usually gets them out. It works for the misplaced cast into the tree limbs, also. I caught 2 yesterday on a Strike King red spinner bait. Going out tomorrow and try our luck.
Love me some chattering chicken. Might be my favorite lure. Gotta learn the art of the wacky rig believe it would help me tremendously. Always enjoy your work. 🎣🎣🔥🔥
You're absolutely right about those 13 fishing reels. My origin A digs right into your palm section by your thumb and after awhile it really starts getting uncomfortable. I love the real though it feels smooth, casts really well, and has great settings, but it's obvious that they didn't spend a whole lot of time product testing on the comfortability side.
"The art of dink grabbing" and the disclaimer had me rolling!!! These are my 2 favorites baits to throw. Typically I have a Neko rig on but similar set ups. You had me inspired over the winter. I was practicing pitching in the cold and snow almost daily but it had paid off this year. Ive been working the reverse roll cast quite a bit too. Now I need to work on casting with my left hand. Another great vid!!
My favorite 2 rod combo is a jig and a square bill. When I've beat up a bank or lay down long enough with a jig and still think it may hold fish I toss a KVD . vice versa sometimes if the mood strikes me.
The Project Z Weedless! That's my fav chatterbait. Those things kick ass. Make sure the eyelet is closed where the blade attaches to the head though, they can fall off after many many fish.
Dink or not what I see is that you are constantly catching fish as a mostly bank fisherman and hats off to you that. If your judging based on numbers and not size you would beat alot of weekend boat anglers
Picked up a black and blue chatterbait today and this video just convinced me to take a very few other lures when I go out tomorrow. Gonna bring one baitcaster (my only one) and a light spinning combo. Tight lines Mr Debo
I started taking a couple different setups since I’m a Bank Fisherman and it’s paid off tremendously. I used to only Catfish and of course setup a few but it was all the same Baits but it’s nice to be able to follow some Topwater Frog misses with a simple Popper on a different Rod right away and catch the Fish that missed your Frog lol. I like that 13 Fishing Reel also it seemed to work well..
A lot of action for a shorter fishing session. There may not have been any 6lb’s in there but when you add them all up could of doubled that! Yep Mustad offset wacky niko rings just as good as two hair ties but need to get them on sale!. Got them on a bogo along with some jackall weedless wacky jig heads. 👍 Thanks for the video!
Those shockwave swimbaits in shrapnel color have been my lucky trailer this year. Had them On my swimjigs and also on my bladed jigs. Definitely a “goto” trailer to emulate the bloogles .
Haven’t had a chance to get out in the last few weeks but I’m looking forward to trying my chatterbait and some soft baits to see what I can get! Thanks again for sharing Debo!
It takes me over 4 hours to grind out 6 dinks. And I consider that a good day of feeshin. I'll have to try the wacky rig more since it seems to work well for you.
I know this Debo I been killing those pike on jackhammer & zako & today was my first bass on jackhammer between frogg'n & chatterbait I'm hooked on those two baits 🤣 mind I only working with 1 rod & reel..
There are a few good O-rings out there: Frenzy Baits Wacky Saddle and the Mustad Wacky O-ring. They're virtually identical but I believe the Mustad is a bit cheaper.
Another weedless wacky hook option would be the Berkley Fusion hooks. They have a fluorocarbon weed guard similar to the VMC but much better in my opinion.
Thanks for another great video. Question on the line. When you fish a spot and get home to realize it stained ur line do you change it out or just fish it dirty?? Might be the ocd but I can't seem to leave it on the reel.lol. 🎣🇺🇸🎣
Went fishing today and my line snapped twice on the cast, lost a lipless and a 1/4 ounce texas rig 10.5 worm, line was 10 lb fluorocarbon vanish, i haven't had any problems with it till today, i lost confidence after that and went home, didn't want to lose know more lures, i did caught a nice healthy 2 pounder on the 10.5 worm texas rig, gear i used 2500 shimano hg spinning reel, 6' 10 medium fast lews hank parker spinning rod, finesse setup all about the drag LOL !!!
I usually go with spinnerbait and wacky rig. If i dont have enough time to fish, i only grab the wacky rig... i cant let go the wacky rig... it just catches em haha
I have so little confidence in the wacky rig. I’ve only ever gotten a single bite on it. I know it’s effective. I just can’t seem to figure it out. That, and I have very little patience.
Wacky rigs are great, but since they just drop straight down instead covering water like a chatter bait or something like that they have to have a fish really close by to work. Cast them near docks and cover for best results.
Aww a video dedicated to the only baits I use to catch fish. Lol (ok i can work a Texas rig too) Still haven’t caught one on the big blade… it’s almost too much. *jackhammer #1
Hmmm, is it me or did you make a chatterbait video at this exact same fishing hole almost this same time a year ago? I think you lost your chatterbait in that video?
The Gamy weedless wacky hooks have to be some of the worst hooks ever created. I am saying this as a warning, because the amount of fish you will miss will be shocking. What's funny is they are some of the most popular as far as marketing and exposure goes, so these were actually the first weedless wacky hooks I ever purchased. Probably lost 80% of the fish I tried to set the hook on, so I had to go back to the exposed hook. Those riyugi are the best IMO.
The reason you catch so many dinks in the ponds you fish there’s too many bass with a limited forage. If people would keep some it would allow the average fish size to increase.
I have zero confidence in chatterbaits so far. I've bought two, and lost both of them within the first 10 minutes of use. I can't afford to go through lures like that.
Debo the Dink Grabber🤣

Chatterbait and wacky has been my go to for the last month or so as well. Such a lethal combo.

Shout out Kerry! I’ve had zero luck on the chatter bait lately. Wake baits have been working well in the ponds I fish.
You are so lucky to have a place to go catch a few in a couple of hours. Another great day, thanks.
My favorite 2 rod combo is a jig and a square bill. When I've beat up a bank or lay down long enough with a jig and still think it may hold fish I toss a KVD . vice versa sometimes if the mood strikes me.
Love your videos. Dont see to many you tubers as big as you are that are humble genuine dudes! Keep it going!
Dink grabbing is now going in my feeshermans dictionary going to go right next to dink whisperer. 😂😂Thanks Debo!!!
Nice work Debo. Having a follow up has been key for me too. From one bank fisherman to another, ✌🏻
The Project Z Weedless! That's my fav chatterbait. Those things kick ass. Make sure the eyelet is closed where the blade attaches to the head though, they can fall off after many many fish.
That spinning combo looks great!

Glad you are digging the Champ! Dobyns rods are about a half power light compared to most rods on their ratings ;)
I'm a " dink grabbler" from way back! I'll be waiting for my T-shirt Debo😂😂😂😂
I started taking a couple different setups since I’m a Bank Fisherman and it’s paid off tremendously. Love Dobyns rods, only ones I use anymore. I use the KD 713C for my chatterbaits... Awesome rod. I use the KD 714C for my swim jigs and wake baits.
You are correct about the VMC weedless wacky hooks. The weed guard is too much and loses fish. I always just cut off the wire.
The o-ring you were using looked like the mustad wacky rig. I just ordered some from Karl’s.
I’ll have to try the ole chatter bait wacky rig combo! Following up a frog with a Texas rig is another good one you’ve talked about.
This spring I picked up the Daiwa Procyon baitcasting rod. Awesome budget rod for like $80 I think. Love it

I use those o rings snd they work awesome
The wicked wacky by gammy is amazing. I’ve caught multiple 6lbers on them.
Awesome tip usually have the Chatter n Wacky Rigs setup for the Bank 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Super combo set-ups! I approve this message!
Haven’t had a chance to get out in the last few weeks but I’m looking forward to trying my chatterbait and some soft baits to see what I can get! Thanks again for sharing Debo!
Good stuff bro!! always inspiring. Hail all bank fisher men!!🙌🙌
It takes me over 4 hours to grind out 6 dinks. And I consider that a good day of feeshin. I'll have to try the wacky rig more since it seems to work well for you.
Try not to compare yourself to others that much, if your catching em your doing something right.
That go to rod in green is a beast 🦍
Great video!!!👊🏻 You may have only been out for an hour or so but you were out feeshin!!!!!!👍🏻😎 Stay Safe & God Bless!!!
Debo i love the gamakatsu wacky rig hooks! Changed my wacky rig game big time. Definitely check them out
I know this Debo I been killing those pike on jackhammer & zako & today was my first bass on jackhammer between frogg'n & chatterbait I'm hooked on those two baits 🤣 mind I only working with 1 rod & reel..
used a buzz bait and a square bill yesterday caught 13 fish with a 4 and 3 lber as the best ones
Oh and i agree with losing way too many chatterbaits. Sometimes i lose them at first cast.... i think that's why i use spinnerbaits more often
Those project z chatterbaits are 👌
I have been using the gamakatsu wicked wacky hooks lately and they have been fire!
There are a few good O-rings out there: Frenzy Baits Wacky Saddle and the Mustad Wacky O-ring. They're virtually identical but I believe the Mustad is a bit cheaper.

I've had good luck with the wicked wacky by Gamakatsu. Pretty good hook!👍
The Diawa Procyon AL is actually around $180 it's a great reel!
Good video, I got to get more time with the chatterbait
Just picked up the Abu Garcia mlf combo, basically a black Mac 7ft combo, it's really nice. Probably similar to the new Abu combo you have.
You should check out the vmc prongs it has two holes one for wacky and the other for neko rig really like them so far
My local pond has been really ruff lately can't get a bite on anything and you go and kill it wow.
Would love to see that reel review
Thanks for another great video. Question on the line. When you fish a spot and get home to realize it stained ur line do you change it out or just fish it dirty?? Might be the ocd but I can't seem to leave it on the reel.lol. 🎣🇺🇸🎣
Chatter bait has treated me well the past month and a half
Went fishing today and my line snapped twice on the cast, lost a lipless and a 1/4 ounce texas rig 10.5 worm, line was 10 lb fluorocarbon vanish, i haven't had any problems with it till today, i lost confidence after that and went home, didn't want to lose know more lures, i did caught a nice healthy 2 pounder on the 10.5 worm texas rig, gear i used 2500 shimano hg spinning reel, 6' 10 medium fast lews hank parker spinning rod, finesse setup all about the drag LOL !!!
Your line was probably frayed from usage or factory defect. Try to check it the next time you go fishing. It has happened a few times for me
@@Edge21596 yeah it probably was frayed, good point, I didn’t even think to check it, but the line overall has been good to me, thanks !!
I usually go with spinnerbait and wacky rig. If i dont have enough time to fish, i only grab the wacky rig... i cant let go the wacky rig... it just catches em haha
Saw a vid (the hook up tackle) saying the Gami hook has hookup issues
Debo's hitting them with the ole two peice lol
I am new to fishing, I notice that after u realized it was a bite, then when should we set the hook into(penetrate) the fish's mouth?
How do you like the daiwa procyon be the fuego?
You had a pretty awesome day
I have so little confidence in the wacky rig. I’ve only ever gotten a single bite on it. I know it’s effective. I just can’t seem to figure it out. That, and I have very little patience.
Same wit me bro..... i never catch on the wacky its bad
@@MaineStreamFishing I usually just reach for a micro jig or a Ned rig.
Wacky rigs are great, but since they just drop straight down instead covering water like a chatter bait or something like that they have to have a fish really close by to work. Cast them near docks and cover for best results.
@@thatirishasian no love for me on the ned either! 🤦🏾♂️ im a jig guy all day
Nice shirt 🤓 Did you get the NEW shirt yet? Hope it didn’t get lost in the mail! 😬
Aww a video dedicated to the only baits I use to catch fish. Lol (ok i can work a Texas rig too) Still haven’t caught one on the big blade… it’s almost too much. *jackhammer #1
" everybody's got a gift, I have the gift of being a dink whisperer. Whatta ya do......." lol
3:30 lmfao
Umm..Debo the Dink grabber lol
You wacky rigged that blue gill 😂
Sometimes you just gotta take 2 rods and just get the numbers. 👍🏻
Cheers 🍻
I have yet to catch a fish on a wacky rig… 🥺🥺🥺
Sup debo. Can't ask for more when fishing hour and 20 min.
Mustad Wacky O-Ring
😂😂dink grabbing
Dang, that rod alone is more than any of my full combos…maybe someday.
Should have used your discount at cabelas!!
@@tims_always_fishing7117 so true! 😂🤣😂🤣 but they only gave 15% on that stuff! Still shoulda went for it tho!
Did you just spit! Lol dude!
We are both dink whisperers!!
Yeah so you didn't link the wacky rig o rigs
Dobyns heavy is more like a mh, love my Dobyns tho
Maybe I’m just doing something wrong but I can’t catch fish on a chatterbait!?!? It drives me crazy. I’ve tried at least 8 or more and still nothing.
Hmmm, is it me or did you make a chatterbait video at this exact same fishing hole almost this same time a year ago? I think you lost your chatterbait in that video?
Dink grabbing 😂😂😂
“Togeter” aye? Lol
Idk how you catch so many on a chatterbate i have no confidence always throw spinner baits or just paddle tails
I have more confidence in a swim jig than a chatterbait.

I’m catching bass on top water all day and he’s talking about wacky rigs and chatterbaits😑
