  • Belcamp College an old college in the northside of Dublin. What was once was County Dublin. The college lyes in ruins now. Developers hungry to take the land around it

    i Only seen the gate a few weeks ago to this place and wonderd what it was only when i could make out the old sign that it said belcamp collage i googled it. Its a shame to see it like that

    Nice footage, great to see the place. You need to be careful though, you're breaking the 5Km exclusion zone around airports and the direct approach to runway 27 is less than 1000ft from there.

    It's a bloody disgrace as to how the belcamp college and grounds were allowed to go to wreck and ruin, it goes to show the sort of yokes live across the n 32 from this once beautiful building and out houses and lands.

      I agree 100%. I was a boarder there from '81 to '85 and it hurts to see what a disgrace it's been left to rot to. This is a James Hoban building, where he tried out some ideas that he brought to his Washington DC, White House build. It should be a place of national historical significance, the trial run for Hoban's White House design, but no. The Irish way is to let it rot away...
