Thanks for watching! 1. Do you have any unanswered questions about music production? 2. Are there any other topics you'd like me to cover? Would love to chat below ↓
I keep asking all over UA-cam but nobody takes me up on it... So I'll keep asking. How about instructional series for cheap, low end systems. Some cheap equipment from AliExpress, and maybe using AV Linux for the DAW? I think it'd be a hit for hobbyists. But that's just me.
Your percussion/foley techniques! You went into a little detail about recording hand percussion on a previous video, would love to see an expansion on that.
This is sampler 101. Well presented though. Anyone can practice/produce like this on their phone with Koala Sampler, if you're interested. Great track, thanks for sharing! ✌️ Offsetting = in the round
I had no idea what this was in my feed, didn't even kno it was about music, for all I knew it was about pasting fking emojis, but my intuition said click da ting, and as a producer gee willickers am I glad I watched 🎉
For anyone in the comments section looking for percussive spice: A great little trick is to put a tape echo or delay on the hi hat. In this case it would require changing from 8th notes to 1/4 notes. The echo adds these human-like ghost notes to each hi hat stroke, filling in the gaps to make it sound like there are 8th notes repeating.. The beauty of this effect is that you can change your hi hat rhythm to swing, dotted or even triplets just by changing the delay time in the plugin. No midi fiddling required. Keep that dry signal louder than the wet. It really humanises the effect. For extra sriracha, bus the OG hi hat signal out to a separate delay channel and pan it in the opposite direction. Voila! Your hi hat is jumping from one speaker to the other like a proton at a speed dating event. Just remember that in this scenario the delay plug-in needs to be 0 dry and 100 wet. Bring the fader down to silent and ride it up until you like the sound! Nice vid!
I feel like this is more about pitching and editing audio clips than copy & pate, but I agree with the method and use it a lot. working with audio clips is quite fun and immediate compared to midi.
so we've discovered that music has repetition..? the title is a little confusing imo this is simply some various music composing ideas. nice job on the video though, I don't mean to disrespect the work just to be clear
Thanks for watching!

@@yuuutaendo Will you ever go in depth into mixing and mastering? Will you make longer form videos? I’ll gladly pay for those lol

What if you made an entire song by only modifying one sound?

Would love to have a deeper dive into the Evangelion sound design process!
the amount of editing required to make this is enormous
Lots of editing indeed. Thank you!!

Fun to make too. Thanks so much
so … a sampler ??
yesss! i love this sm
smart way to show how it all can be made to sound cool. Also works well to remind how much repetition legitimizes.

this is superb tutorial, thank you for sharing! question - how do I make this "synth lead guitar" sound in synthethiser?
