This is a double standard. This is exactly the way a whole crowd of girls acted during the boy band craziness.
(also back then, the girls would grab “mob” and try to rip off the clothing of the boy band members. (& the media just portrayed them, as “normal” cute little girls hormones going wild over their crushed/heroes)
    -
(I don’t think that’s ever gonna happen here, in the reverse situation, The boys are going to cheer, just like the girls did, but I don’t think the boys are gonna start ripping off her clothing)

What I was saying that: if Olivia walked by these teenage guys in a public place with obvious TV reporter cameras around, I highly doubt the guys would be mobbing & groping and attempting to rip off her clothes.

      -
What some creepy (overpowering size advantage) guys do (have done), behind the scenes, or household and/or dating domestic violence, is not what I’m referring to in my original post.
      -
i’m referring to; that when teenage girls go crazy over, and mob male celebrities (ever since the Beatles & continued to the boy bands) & mob & attempt to rip off their clothes, the media portrays it as “cute” hormonal little girls,
and while, what they are doing, if it was the reverse, that would be a tragedy. (of course)
      -
Your remarks about some men are gross & dangerously assault women “all the time”

      -
I never heard or saw the media or TV reporters, depict the girls “public mobbing scene” as disrespectful, & that it needs to be stopped immediately etc.
      -
I never heard the Beatles, Rolling Stones, or the countless boy bands or other male teen idols, ever put out a statement, to tell the girls to:
“please respect us and to be civil when you come to our events or waiting outside our events”
Crowds of mobs of teenage and pre-teenage girls going wild over them, correlates to big-time money,

But regardless of why that crowd is there, it is up to LSU to control it. They can limit access to the lots to ticket/pass holders and keep the rest outside the gate, on the street, and let the police deal with them.

The fact that it's all dudes is what makes it creepier, if her fanbase was mixed genders or a majority of girls it would still be a security concern, but the creep factor wouldn't be so blatant.
They said she's a tiktok star, I didn't check her numbers, but I did check IG and she has over 3 million followers, she's a petite blonde who doesn't have the dorito/upside-down triangle build that other gymnasts tend to and her pics tend to show off her body and sex appeal.
Unfortunately for her and everybody else is, this is what happens and what's worse is these dudes know where she goes to school and they know she probably lives close or on campus; she and the school need to be careful.
Edit: Before you express your hurt feelings b/c you took my comment personal (lol) or before you start suiting up to protect the sanctity of these boys, read my replies to everybody else who's feelings were hurt, I don't want to repeat myself 🙃.

Social media is the #1 vehicle driving self-promotion. Therefore, colleges will have to increase security. Popularity will increase more attention to the sport, regardless of talent/beauty etc. that Olivia encompasses. Colleges will have to establish tougher criteria. It's something they've never really had to worry about. But let's be real. LSU likes the attention they are getting. When it becomes too problematic for them, they'll do like other colleges and put the hammer down on morality clauses, dress codes, and scrutinize what you can/cannot present as an ambassador for their team.
