got a lg fridge in may, with new water line, water and especially ice have always tasted bad. changed the filter and ran several cycles of ice and water and still have bad taste. LG was zero help. My previous fridge never had this bad taste.

The manufacturer instructions where to cycles through 2 gallons of water before using the ice machine and water from the dispenser. This refrigerator water has always tasted bad. Going to try changing the filter tomorrow. If that don't work , I guess I will have to sale the damn thing and buy a GE.
@@lloyde80 Let me know what happens.. i just changed my filter and ran 2+ gallons through it.. and emptied the ice the last 3 days in a row.. tomorrow I will try it out ..

Same issue, had samsung prior, their filters were much larger, terrible flavor, LG is first and last company ill deal with
I've ran gallons of water through my new LG fridge and the taste isn't going away. I'm guessing water lines?

I put in a new filter now my fridgewater smells like fish. Even after flushing it through.
Your advice didnt tell us anything new, give us advice thats out of box. Mr captain obvious is known to everyone "changing filter" and draining it
