Unpark is part of 13.2.2 but "park" is coming later. If you navigate somewhere and it sees an open parking space it will sometimes attempt to parking (often rushed and poor). But it is not deterministic and sometimes it just stops and says "trip complete". Later you will probably have a choice between drop off/parking when you start the trip or get close to arriving. In this video the F seems to just be a navigation error though
@groet508 Agreed on the navigation error. I’m looking forward to multiple options when driving to a business… for example… if I’m navigating to a McDonald’s, we’ll need options to either park in the lot, or go through the drive-thru. And if it’s a drive-thru, it’ll need the ability to stop at both the payment window and the pickup window. FSD will get there, just a matter of time. Thanks!
Just to be clear, it doesn't need to be perfect. It only needs to be safer than people. That's the critical inflection point where simple economics take over. When FSD is safer, it'll be cheaper to insure. Which is the beginning of the end of human operated transportation vehicles.
Nothing new. It has nothing to do with FSD, but with the maps. Many have already pointed this out. If no update on that front comes, it will keep making navigation mistakes.
Though it makes sense it should, where in the notes does it say it parks properly at a supercharger destination? Of all the other 99% that V13 does wonderfully, this is pretty minor 😅 people expect perfect for a system that's far from perfect... And then criticize why it's not being perfect 🤦🏻♂️
Yeah, I don’t think it’s in the release notes, but I saw other folks had some success in letting it park in a supercharger stall automatically when navigating to a supercharger. That’s why I wanted to try it. And sure enough, assuming it can find the correct parking lot 😂 then it seems to find an open stall just fine.
@ThisIsTeslaTrippin yea I watch a lot of vloggers on UA-cam for V13 as I am patiently waiting for 12.6 for my 2018 M3P, but parking at a destination is a hit or miss even though it says in release notes that "parking at destination" is somewhat included. I just personally think it's inaccurate to label the video "FAIL" when V13 has been a tremendous leap in improvements.
I sort of understand why it did what it did, but shows that it’s not perfect yet. Are you seeing similar snafus on FSD?

Honestly, even I sometimes pull up to wrong parking lots if I am not fully aware while I'm driving so AI doing that is not that bad for me
@ish2222 Agreed! And it’ll only get better.

Thank you for the video. It would be helpful if you could put error time stamps in the description.
Thanks for the suggestion, great idea!

It's wasn't the Tesla it was the GPS mapping

Just drive like a normal human being and you won’t have these problems.
Haha ok, humans never have problems driving or navigating.
@ humans with common sense are hard to come by. I am sorry you have trouble driving your own car.
If you don’t like self driving cars, I suggest you watch videos on some other subject
@ ooo la la, look at you Mister, “I am too self important to maintain control over my own vehicle”
@@TheCoolOwenwhat self driving software drove you to spend time watching videos on a subject you hate?
