It seems you align with some of Marcionite theology (heresy, according to most mainstream Christian churches since the 2nd century).
While I'm not sure I agree with it, it is tempting to sympathize with some aspects, considering the apparent contrast between God in the Old Testament and Jesus.

Your not being entirely truthful. It is a half truth. For example you mentioned the firey serpents @13:09
And how God sent serpents when they were hungry. (Numbers 21:5, 6)
However Jehovah the God of Israel gave the way out to those with faith at the next verses numbers 21:8, 9. Peoples faith made them well.
And Jesus refers to this very account of what his father and God did because Jesus was about to be lifted up in the same way and peoples faith today in Jesus sacrifice will make them well. (Read John 3:14)
Everything in the old Testament was a precursor to the new. Also the laws that were given exposed the peoples own hearts if they wanted to focus on harsh principles or loving ones.
Gods word exposes what people want to focus on. Please focus on the unity Jesus has with his God and Father Jehovah.

@@guitaoist yes there is. And Jesus wasn't referring to the law of Moses when he seems reference it at Matthew 5:38. We know this because when he references the old Testament he quotes it by saying it is written.
However in this passage Jesus says: "YOU heard that it was said," he was speaking not of the old Testament but of the pharisees misinterpretation of it.
This is made abundantly clear in the last of these when at Matthew 5:43 he states: "you heard it was said love your neighbor and hate your enemy." This passage doesn't exist in the old Testament. It was somthing again the pharisees said. See Exodus 23:4 in contrast to Matthew 5:43

@@guitaoist You are mistaken in so many things... As a Jewish LAW it was eye for an eye, as law is about justice and justice is equal punishment for a crime (you cant get more equal than the same loss). The old laws were ABOLISHED, and there is no Christian political laws, as Christianity was not setup as a political state. Turn the other cheek is a MORAL stand point. Turn the other cheek is about being a righteous person, not about justice. Justice is now for God to administer, where as in a political state mankind would have to administer it. In other words, we turn the other cheek, and GOD deals with them Justly.
Again, low IQ, ignorant take. READ THE WHOLE BIBLE BEFORE POSTING ON UA-cam.

      @QuëstionšnÅňşwęŕż 6 місяців тому +2

@@guitaoist hello, thats a good point. At Psalms 139:21, 22 it does show the feelings of someone who loved God. But a narration of a man's feelings is quite different from a law. The composer knew the law to be kind to your enemies. However, because he said I hate those who hate God, it is connected to hating some action on the part of an individual who hates God because the only way others know you hate God is by publicly rejecting Gods standards through your actions.
In another melody in psalms 101:3. The same composer wrote: 'I hate the deeds (or work) of those who turn away from God. In this instance the hate is directed to the actions and not the person. This may have been the meaning in Psalms 139. But even if it isn't, its still a man's feelings.
The Bible’s narration is extensive. The reader should know the difference between recording a man's feelings and actions, or scenario, as opposed to a recorded law, principle and standard of God. (See Isaiah 55:9)

Some people claim that there is good and evil coming from Yahweh in the OT. This is the view that there are "two distinct voices in the OT" (perhaps due to bible corruption). However, since I think Yahweh is a psychopath, the apparent "good" is merely a method of getting to more "evil". I really don't see ANY good coming from Yahweh.
I see Jesus having an adversarial yet restrained response to Yahweh. Brings to mind Jude v9 (which I've always puzzled about). In others words, Jesus went right up to that "line" where hatred would occur, but didn't cross over it. If you have any credence in the Sumerian mythology, then Yahweh (Enlil) would slightly outrank Jesus (Enki) as an elder brother. It does bother me that Jude uses the phrase "Lord", when I think it really means God the Father, El Elyon, etc. - i.e. not Jesus & not Yahweh. ("Lord" in the bible has always been an incredibly ambiguous and overused term for me.)

Thanks Ben, saw you over on Scriptural Truth.
I am going to write out these verses and keep them to perhaps show others one day.
So many instances in the bible where it just doesn't feel right. And when Yeshua was telling the descendants of Abraham that their father was the father of lies etc, it is another validation on the sexual blood ritual of c-ism that only a demonic bloodlusting god would demand.
True Father does not need such a ritual to know we are His, and for Him. Not would the Father Creator create a baby so perfect and then demand we mutilate that perfection in such a cruel, extremely painful way on an innocent newborn.
It causes extreme PTSD as babies are noted to exhibit severe PTSD reactions after the mutilation.
It also alters brain development as it damages the vagus nerve.
    Evil.
Yet the Father of Yeshua is evil? No.
Even Yeshua Himself rebuked the practice in the Gospel of the Beloved Companion.
Anyway, another messianic aquintance reached out wanting to send me a book about all the wonderful things YHVH done for us during exodus. I mentioned about him being satan. No reply back so this does not go down well at all.

The psalm captures raw, emotional language common in imprecatory psalms, where the psalmist cries out for retribution against enemies.”

There is no contradiction. Read it in context. Jesus is speaking about babylon & the wicked ones who should be repayed for their wicked deeds as the Edomites were. He said those who harm the little ones of those who believe in Him, you'd be better off to tie a millstone round your neck. If His lil ones are harmed. The sons of the devil are not what hes talking about. There are no contradictions in the Bible if one takes the time to read all of the scriptures in context & not just pick a scripture & give your opinion or your interpretation of its meaning. Let the bible speak for itself thru prayer & understanding only given thru the Holy Spirit. Not mans interpretation but its true meaning. God bless. Im out... good luck listening to any social media scholars. Be led by the Spirit, not by man.. dont even take my word for it. Spend time in scripture, in prayer & in thought with guidance from Him.

Shane, you give sound advice about only being led by the Holy Spirit, and by the Father and you warn of man's interpretation of God's Word.
Very wise advice....now apply that to yourself.
The bible is a perfect example of being mans interpretation based on mans agenda, to hide the truth for control and to herd people i to worshipping satan.
If it were not so, why would the Father need to warn about changing the bible in any way? However, the book is sealed until the end of the age, where people will have a famine of the word.
These bible changes have been allowed by the Father to test us if we hear Him, or hear man.
