We have the Rumion in the same colour (iconic grey) and variant (V AT) as shown in the video above. Got it over the Ertiga because of the shorter delivery time. Love the hassle-free nature of the car, comfort-oriented suspension, very effective AC, easy ingress and edgress, ease of driving (1735 mm width is very manageable) and usable three rows with decent boot space and useful features like auto ORVM, auto headlight function, sharp rear camera, hill hold etc. at a reasonable price. It's done approx. 2000 kms so far. Mileage with 70% city 30% expressway in rush hour traffic with AC on is 12 kmpl. The flip sides are that it's not a car for the enthusiast, the design language is familiar, there is no bonnet visibility which is required by some, and also, the second row seats don't tumble forward completely when entering the third row (unlike the Carens).
You have summed it up perfectly. Interesting to know that visibility over the bonnet is not impressive. Is it a major issue?
@@CarWale thanks. I meant as a driver, even if you use seat height adjustment to the fullest, you're unlikely to be able to see the "edges of the bonnet" and some new drivers, who prefer SUVs/CSUVs for that reason, prefer that as it makes judgment easier for them. There's no problem with road and peripheral visibility through the windshield and ORVMs/IRVMs at all. I've driven hatches before so I could never see the bonnet anyway and learnt like that so I find driving it extremely easy. I think in XL6, you can see the bonnet a bit if you're tall because it's slightly raised. Ertiga/Rumion are like Swift. Hope I clarified what you asked.
Is rumion worth buying for a family of 4?
Also what's the maintenance cost of toyota rumion, i mean is the maintenance same as hatchbacks or higher?
According to you, one should go for 5 seater at this price or this 7 seater

Toyota is being stupid by merely rebadging the Suzuki cars. It's pathetic and disgusting.
It's a win-win for both companies. Toyota gets to sell cars in a new segment and Maruti gets paid for every car that they produce for Toyota.
