I got one and returned it just after 4 hours of use. I recently uploaded a short benchmark and quality issue video if you are interested. I won't buy a Dell again. 2nd time I got disappointed by this brand.
I did the test with cinebench 20 and I got 37xx before repaste, and 38xx after repaste. My unit is not as loud as your unit it is actually quiet. For latencymon, make sure u clean install the windows or remove all bloatware and disable all unnecessary services, my test with latencymon gave me the result that it can process realtime audio. For ssd speed, the one comes in my laptop is samsung p981a and my benchmark with crystaldisk gives me R 3GB/s and W 2.8GB/s. I replaced it with sabrent high performance 2TB and it gives me R 2.8GB/s and W 2.8GB/s. I think the quality control from dell is bad. You can receive good or bad unit.
@@lututech2042 u need to run cinebench at least a 2nd time right after the 1st to get it on temperature. Cold i also got 3,800 without repaste. But in real life it takes much longer than 1 min. I have converted a video for 20 min and cpu went down to 4.2 ghz avarage. I run my desktop with all programms active in background (quit a lot) and no problems at all with latency mon. For hours. And nothing changed in windows. So if u are right dell installs software which makes the laptop perform worse. But tbh... I don't believe this is the reason, because these latency issues were a problem since years with Dell. Btw. I also got a bluescreen after 20 minutes of converting a video. Also if I buy a notebook which has so many bugs right from the start for a price of 3,200 € i don't waste any more time to make a clean install to test again and still knowing I have to return it. I got a MacBook 16 in February and all worked fine right from the start. But unfortunately it was to loud and hot under load. 53 db vs 47 db. The dell is much better with heat and noise. Maybe the problem with latency is the ssd. The 15 inch with Samsung ssd seems to have accurate latency as well. Kioxia is a brand I have never heard of. But at the end its only guessing.
@@Hunselmann I run several times, the range is 3650 - 3870. Actually it is not bad for 10875h. I heard about audio processing problem from dell before. I will test it with audio recording and mixing to see how it goes. Yes, if your unit is bad like that, it will waste time to wait a perfect replacement, MBP16 is the best choice. Gigabyte Aero 17 HDR is also an option for u to consider. Wait for my review video, I will test in all scenario that I can to see how much bad and good this laptop can do
PixMotions Macbook is louder because of fans running all the time which tries to keep system cool....but xps also louder......both are performance machines!!
Continue brother ❤
