Vitagel LED-UV Gel to Repair Cracked Nails

- The finger that I repaired in this video ended up lasting for 4 weeks. After the 4 weeks all I did was soak it off and re do the whole process again. I think that if you layer the vitagel with more than just one coat it holds a little better. And it holds even better if you have a silk sandwiched between the gel. Overall I like this product and although on some of my nails it didn't hold up as well like my thumbnails, its still a great product to use to repair cracks. I will show you future videos of other soak off gel that truly holds and does what it says. Keep watching ;)

For those of you looking for a cheap, effective LED lamp I found mine at walgreens. Its made by Kiss nails and I was able to purchase it by itself (since I have everything else already) on sale for only $27! Its the Kiss Professional LED lamp. I've also been successful finding the vitagel on ebay for under $20 full .50 ounce size as well. Thanks again Anna for all your tutorials! I've learned so much about doing my own nails from you!
After watching your review on the Vitagel I went out to Sally's and purchased it!...this was very helpful as I have a crack in my nail now!...thanks 4 shariring!
I need to get that primer! I recently purchased & used the gelish vitagel strengthener. LOVE it!! Thanks for this video in case I get any cracks!
after seeing your video on using the gelish product I went to get it I was using shellac and I find it cracked a lot the gelish to me I find works verly well and stays on longer too so now im a gelish fan and I also saw the other videothat you did recently on the new gelish vitagel and I now ordered that at the nail supply store im very excited about that one thanks for the tips you give
Great tips :) I sooo badly want a LED lamp instead of the UV lamp I have.. it's just so much faster.. much better :) Like the video dearie;)
Hi, is it possible to extend the nails using the silk and VitaGel instead of the soak off gel, which you used in one of your previous videos? Learning so much from your channel. Thank you! :)
This was so helpful. Thanks so much for posting this.
Thanks for the tutorial Anna! will have to keep my eye out for that product maybe i'll get lucky and catch it on sale ;D
great video anna as always!! I'm adding this to my playlist, so I will be ready for the inevitable. I'm going to have to go buy lots of stuff if i'm going to get into this gel method. lol i don't have any of that cool stuff you have.
does a teabag work as a substitute for the silk wrap?
I have a question, is vitagel like gel nails? Will it make my nails hard or strong rather like regular gel would?
I want to know the same thing what is wrong with her ring finger because she don't put nothing on that finger is it ok or is it still mess up
What did you use as the cleanser? Thanks!
What China silk did you use? Mine kept moving and frayed
So did you take off your acrylics?
Thank you , you answered my question at the end.
can i use the Vitagel on my nail by itself with out the silk rap? and would the Vitagel damage my natural nails and make my natural nail weak?
???
If i do a repair with this method and use a gel polish over it i will have to do the repair each time i change my gel polish because the soak off liquid will remove the silk won't it? Is their any other way of making the repair more permanent?
From other videos I've watched, they have basely said the break is there to deal with (repair again) until it grows out.
Your ring finger nail looks a bit sick what's wrong? Is it okay now? I say this out of concern.
Catherine Ruby hi Ruby I think she had some damage from acrylic nails.
I've been using this method and the Gelish always starts to come off when I remove my normal manicure with non-acetone polish remover. What could cause this?
What is up with the skin around your nail bed? Please do not take offense but it looks dirty.
How do you clean your brushes
Thanks...for showin me this..Thank..you
