Thank you so very much for such an encouraging video. As a new Christian homeschooling mom, I definitely have had the mom guilt of these are my children that the Lord blessed me with so I should be able to teach them. However, I am overwhelmed so I am looking to supplement with a curriculum. I am going to check out Time 4 Learning in the New Year. Thank you and may the Lord bless you and your family. :)
Thank you for your review. I feel the SAME WAY using Time 4 Learning. We started home schooling in 2020, moved and then went back into public school 2021. I recently pulled my daughter back out of public school and Time 4 Learning was the only option I even considered. Well intentioned friends and family made other suggestions but I just love the curriculum, it covers everything they need to learn while still allowing us plenty of time to do the things that we want to do with all of our extra free time.
@@artsoto5459I didn't have an issue when I enrolled my daughter in a new district in 3rd grade. When I withdrew her in the 5th grade, they said she would have to test to get back in. I am not sure that is true because it was an off-hand comment as I was withdrawing her. I guess it depends on the school but I don't think there would be a problem getting her back into public school.
Wow! Loved hearing this. I struggle with not wanting a computer to take over, but I love how it was a blessing in the end. I also understand feeling unseen. I was one of 8 kids, and it’s very true my mom didn’t have time for one on one time for us. Super important! Great points :)
Im so glad i came across this video and read the comments. I have an 8th grader with adhd that struggles in school with being distracted by other kids, the classes moving to fast for him, and sometimes feeling overwhelmed.. and the bullying he deals with has really pyshed me over the edge. I have been looking for something like this because i dont like how other homeschools do their stuff.
Thank you so much for your very honest review. So many of us struggle with this as we feel we all need to be sitting family style with EVERY subject. We have done it this way for a long time and it is just not the best fit anymore for my upper elementary learners. I am the same, I want us to sit and enjoy the time, not feel pressure to get it done!!
The pressure can feel intense. When I start to feel that overwhelming feeling, that’s when I know I’m not focused on the right thing. Time with family is the best!
Thanks for the video I’m trying to find a homeschool program for my daughter she’s autistic and we tried K-12 last year but it was to much for her because they want the kids up early and sitting doing live videos from 8:00 am to 1:30 and that was to much for her I’m going to give time for learning a try
Absolutely give it a try. I have heard so many people say the same thing about k 12. Kids need to be able to get up and move around when they need a break.
1. Thank you so so so much for maybe the most honest down to earth video I have watched in a long while. 2. You published this 10 months ago. May I ask if you still feel the same way? I have 5 children (6 in total) as well, and I am considering the price, but I am willing to pay for what my children would benefit from.
Thank you for the honest review. Not a new homeschool mom. But both kids are currently in public school. One kiddo thrives in public while the other struggles due to health conditions… seriously thinking about pulling the one back out and homeschooling again. T4L I looked at a lot before deciding to put them back in public. I believe T4L would be a good fit for the one kiddo. Glad to know it has Christian undertones and talks about God. Do you supplement with T4L? Or T4L only? Thank you so much!
I’m teared up and empathize with you! This is my first year allowing myself to use the computer for school. Currently using easy peasy, but open to other options.
Nina, i am new in this subject. Could you tell me where i can star learning about homeschooling? Could you guide me in this beginning? I mean, books or hubs where i can understand more what is homeschooling and how i can do it without knowing a single thing about math or history etc, i mean, i am not a teacher.
Oh my gosh. You’ve gotten a great start by getting on UA-cam and looking around. Go visit HSLDA.org there are so many resources there. They are the homeschool legal defense association! ❤️
We use Time4Learning’s Language Arts courses for our autistic 8 year old! I find it to be very adaptable for my child who is mostly nonverbal, but has a very good receptive language skills and reading comprehension! We love it!
Do you mind doing a video on how you record a transcript with time 4 learning? We love T4L as well, but I am so nervous about keeping record and missing something they will need. Do you follow state standards, or are you following college requirements?
Hello, I’m just wondering what the program is like for learning to read? I wasn’t taught reading by phonics so needing a program that does the teaching for me. How to teach blending etc. my son knows his abc and sounds of letters but struggled to learn them.
Eh. I would use the book named above! I Had my son reading before we started T4L for the 1st grade with that book. T4L has its phonic lessons under the ELA extension. But I don’t it was solid enough to have them reading within a few months. The lessons on T4L for reading are loose.
Thank you for this video! I am considering T4L however, are you able to tell me if there are worksheets that the child can do to build a portfolio? I need something to show at the end of the year and I don't see an option for this..
Great video! So we are temporarily moving overseas for a few months to a year, quick question, if my daughter completes 2nd grade at T4L, can she go to 3rd grade in the states? Would the public school system accept this as a second grade completion? Thanks
I need a platform that allows me to create when needed our own classwork, projects, quizzes, and tests. I also need to be able to print out detailed end-of-year reports. Can Time 4 Learning do this?
The reporting is a huge part of why we love time for learning. I can print out grades, attendance, and keep track of progress. You can’t create your own quizzes but you can set a minimum score to pass. I have my children set at at least 80% to pass a quiz or test.
You can print an enrollment letter but they don’t provide a desploma. You can enroll in college based on the college requirements and your own records as a transcript.

My pleasure!! It’s stressful and overwhelming at times but worth it. Taking mental health days is still school!! Take them!

100%! Yes!!
Did you any pushback on school not accepting T4L to get her back in public schools?

So helpful and timely, thank you! I’ve been struggling with health issues and need something like this. You have given me so much hope!

I am so glad I ran into this video because I struggled to turn over my kids to an online learning system. Thank you

Actually time 4 learning is not a Christian program. The one thing I do supplement is a Bible study.
Thank you, please advise what gadgets/ computer or tablet are you using?
Chrome books and an I pad in the chrome browser
@@EverydayBlessings on the IPad does connecting to WiFi have a good enough connection?
@@rondaperez9247 I would assume so but I’m not a techie person.
Ok this video is a little creepy. I feel like you are in my head. We are suppose to start t4l next year. Thanks for the video!
lol!! Thank you? You’ve got this!
I love time 4 learning. Its made homeschooling less scary for me as a new homeschool mom.
I’m so happy to hear that

Always!
I love the way you explained this. Thank you!

That’s awesome! I have had a very similar experience with it.
My son was non verbal but applied kinesiology doctor NAET fixed that 🙏🏼🕊️🙏🏼
Any experience with their high school levels?
My jr. In highschool uses it. Some of the lessons he says are “boring” but I think it’s a well rounded program.

This is a great topic that needs attention. I’d love to do a video on it.
@@EverydayBlessingsyes please! I’m in the same boat
Hello, I’m just wondering what the program is like for learning to read? I wasn’t taught reading by phonics so needing a program that does the teaching for me. How to teach blending etc. my son knows his abc and sounds of letters but struggled to learn them.
The book- “100 lesson to teach your child to read”, helped me teach my son to read. Shit It taught me phonics!- i didn’t learn tht growing up…
Does time for learning do a good job teaching to read

Did you ever use Brightspire through time 4 learning? Or just time 4 learning? I’m looking into the accredited version.
I haven’t used bright spire but if they’re part of time for learning I would assume it’s worth a try.
Thanks for the review
You bet
Thank you for this video! I am considering T4L however, are you able to tell me if there are worksheets that the child can do to build a portfolio? I need something to show at the end of the year and I don't see an option for this..
Yes, there are printables throughout the lessons. I never do them but they’re sprinkled throughout the chapters.
Is it a real school? If so, what’s the process to get started? I have 8th grader that needs a new school
It is not accredited. To enroll is very easy. There’s a link in the description box you can use and sign up.
Great video! So we are temporarily moving overseas for a few months to a year, quick question, if my daughter completes 2nd grade at T4L, can she go to 3rd grade in the states? Would the public school system accept this as a second grade completion? Thanks
Technically t4l is not accredited. However, when you’re ready to re-enroll they will most likely do a placement exam and enroll her into 3rd grade.
Do you allow them to do math on time for learning?
I did. When they got stuck I would sit with them one on one. It was so nice to incorporate time 4 learning into math. 😊
I need a platform that allows me to create when needed our own classwork, projects, quizzes, and tests. I also need to be able to print out detailed end-of-year reports. Can Time 4 Learning do this?

I needed this today.
Everyone has hard days! ❤️
does time for learning has live teacher?
No. They are pre recorded videos.
@@EverydayBlessings are there videos for time4math? I haven't seen any
hi! Does time4learning provide you with a diploma? If not, how do i receive one after finishing the curriculum?
You can print an enrollment letter but they don’t provide a desploma. You can enroll in college based on the college requirements and your own records as a transcript.
Does time for learning give grades?
It keeps track of percentages. 😊
Is Time4 Learning a Christian program?
they've never said that they're Christian themselves but many lessons do talk about god and have religious undertones
I needed to hear this. ❤
I’m glad it helped!
