God did not create an opportunity for beings to sin. God created an opportunity for beings to freely be obedient to his word rather than force them to.

Yukymea Joseph - Imagine a video game designer creating a game that allowed a player to do something the designer did not want you to do. That ability can only be there for two reasons. The first is that it was designed on purpose as a test that the player has failed in the eyes of the designer. The second would be a flaw in the code that the user can exploit. In my video game analogy, god is the designer and the players are everyone else - including satan. In either case, the designer created the opportunity - either by intent or incompetence.

Satan sinning was a confirmation of Gods love. The fact that satan could choose to disobey God display that God does not force angels to love him. If you force someone to love you, try to manipulate someone into loving you that in itself is not love. Likewise, our free will to choose to love God confirms Gods love for us as well. We see Gods love confirmed in eden when Adam disobeyed God as well. The difference is and I don’t know why but God created a plan of redemption for man that didn’t include angels. Angels have no redemption plan. “What is man that thou are so mindful of him.” Finally, the scripture states that when we choose Christ in this earthly life when he redeems us we will be sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. Eternal security isn’t for this earthly life eternal security is for our new life’s in Christ in the new heavens and the new earth. Praise God.
That’s a good point. I wonder why God didn’t include angels in that redemption plan? Maybe he holds them to a higher standard because they already have the honor of being in his presence so if they choose to rebel it’s almost worse than when humans do because we haven’t experienced his glory like they have. Just a thought
One could say that forcing someone to choose between loving you and being tormented for all eternity is manipulation. One reason (of the many) I became an atheist was this love or punishment choice. This is not a relationship I would ever accept from anyone in my life and would tell everyone to avoid. As you said 'If you force someone to love you, try to manipulate someone into loving you that in itself is not love.' From that perspective God becomes unpalatable, God becomes unworthy of you, and God slips into mythology as many gods before them. At this point religion is more of a curiosity for me. How and why people still believe is fascinating.
@@bobbyknight2362 The thing is, all good things come from God and are a part of his attributes. Anything good that we have here is simply due to the grace of God who doesn't owe us anything accept death as it says in the Romans 6.23 "the wages of sin is death". Therefore the only other choice is to choose things which are opposite to God. For example Jesus calls himself the truth and the light. If that's the case then the only other choice is lies and darkness. Satan is the father of lies John 8.44. You can't expect God to give you some of his attributes in the after life when you want nothing to do with him. I also want to point out that it is not God who is torturing people in hell, it's the fallen angels who have nothing else to do because they chose to be separated from God's grace. I hope this makes sense..
@@shomshomni2314 I disagree with the idea that God owes nothing. They have taken it upon themselves to actively create mankind knowing full well what the outcome will be for each and every one of us (Omniscience). If God just allowed nonbelievers to cease to exist once their earthly life is over and not be cast into hell, at least that would be a step up morally for them. So if I am understanding you correctly, you are asserting that there is only two options God (truth and light ) or Satan (lies and darkness) and that God doesn't actively torture someone in hell but does send them there if they choose not to believe. Still sounds like forced 'love' to me. Believe in / love me or be sent to a hell that I created with the demons that I also created that turned their back on me because an arch angle that I created decided he wanted to be above me. And; I knew all of this would come to pass before I even began. This sounds more like an experiment that went sideways than a divine plan. I obviously also don't believe in Satan either and do try to live in a way that is not harmful to society. I do this because that's the only way society works not because I fear hell at the end of my life. So I don't choose God and I don't choose Satan so there is at least 1 more option that seems to be lumped in with Satan, lies, and darkness. So live a good life (sometimes better than self-professed Christians) but still end up in hell because you didn't believe in / love God.
Whenever I face questions that seem impossible to answer, I refer back to a word I once heard a preacher say, "The reason I follow God is because I cant have an answer to every question I have. If I get to answer every question it would make an equal with God. Some of the situations and questions we cant answer or fully explain are what made God, a God." Not a word by word conclusion to what he said but is kind of a summary. I hope this helps answer some of the questions that may be troubling you as it this has helped me so much over the years.
Hope some one can answer this I have not found an answer yet thanks for your time 1) Did Lucifer had free will to decide to rebel against God? 2) Or did God created Satan just for the purpose of trying to find the true humans who love him and will worship for eternity? 3) Is the "corrupted world" the "trials of Satan" are the way to determine what humans will receive salvation in their heart and will go to heaven with God and what humans will go to hell? 4) If God is all knowing and all powerful Why not create only the first group of humans and not the second so in this case there is no need to send most of mankind to hell?
@@hughjanus2781 I did not say you shouldn't seek these things but rather these things are not the gateway for entering heaven or hell. @Applicant Number 301 Islam is a heresy. A form of nestorian Christianity. Since Jesus is to judge the living and the dead and only God can render judgement then Jesus must be God. Thank you. Have a great day.
Satan is mankinds scapegoat. Still too immature to take the blame for our own actions and decisions. The serpent was used to test mankind. Did the serpent have a choice or did God put him up to it? In Isaiah God says he creates good and evil. In Exodus God stiffens the Pharaohs heart against Moses. In the desert God punishes the Israelites with serpents and then heals them through a serpent. This guy seems like another false teacher pretending to have knowledge when he only has the false doctrines the church.
He fell, because he desired power. Don't you think that once creation is made. They have absolutely have no knowledge of evil and good. And so this happens to angels also. Some are made perfect. But too perfect may lead to evil.
@Applicant Number 301 that angle makes sense because how was their sin in heaven but there’s been stories where Lucifer/satan was a woman and had a bad relationship with God. Or satan being Jesus and had a fall out with his dad. The one you said makes sense though, where you read it on?
“We won’t sin in heaven because there won’t be a need to.” Well have everything. I can’t believe I’ve never looked at it that way. So Satan sinned because he had a selfish need to be God. Adam and Eve sinned because they had a selfish need to be like God.
Satan represents the rebellion against God; the rebellion against the Divine Order of the universe. Who better to enlist in his armies than the creatures that were made in the image of God? Now how does satan get the human to do his dirty work for him? By lying. That's why Jesus calls satan "the father of lies". The sense of pride is what leads Eve to believe satan's lie and that pride is what we call luciferianism. Hence judaism is satanism and freemasonry is luciferianism. The exact same dynamic is at play there.
And what do you think we Sinners are doing then? Are we not trying to be Gods? The Witches The Sjamans The Satanists The Devil Worshippers The Elect The Elite The Sigma Male's The Chosen Druids Masons ALL of them are waiting for The Grand Awakening... I became a Christian eighteen years ago and one of the first questions I asked in my first discipleship class was whether Satan can repent or not. Dan Delgado you won’t be able to play with your “yoo-hoo” in any dimension outside of this earth. That is a reproductive organ that is only useful on earth. Outside of earth.. you simply won’t have one. No males or females in heaven. Only spiritual bodies. Also, if any of Gods angles will ever disobey and rebel against him, God would already know that before it happens. Just like her knew Lucifer would rebel against him before he ever did. God chose to make Lucifer anyway because he knew he could use him for the purpose of this temporary world. God even gave the world to Satan to rule it just to make the point that Gods people will still choose Jesus even against all odds. No other angel will rebel against God because they are seeing first hand what happens when you do. Satan wishes he never did.
@Dan Delgado if Lucifer was cast down, there's no verse to give an exact time frame or location. We do have an idea of how he sinned. We do know from Jesus in Matthew 6 that isn't isn't only limited to physical action or audible words. That sin can be done in the heart. Like when jesus said being angry with your brother is murder or lusting is adulatery. We also know that according to 1st John chapter 3 that sin is breaking a direct commandment from God. We know Lucifer was jealous of Man and that lead to a series of events unfolding. We do know it happened after creating the heavens and earth. We do know that Lucifer broke a direct commandment of God(what the exact command was we don't know), what we do know is what Jesus' little brother Jude said in the 6th and 9th verse of his book, that Lucifer in the 6th verse "did not stay within the limits of authority God gave" and "abandoned their proper dwelling". So we can take it as God gave him authority with limits that he broke and/or Lucifer was not in the right location he should have been. The location(heaven or earth) of Lucifer's decision/idea is unknown. In Jude verse 9 the archangel Michael was said to have been contending with Lucifer about the body of Moses. Jude writes that Michael "did not dare accuse or condemn" Lucifer. So we know an angel is not allowed to accuse anyone or condemn(judge someone worthy of punishment) anyone, even if that person is the devil himself. You, others, and myself have the right to have a conversation about the location of the sin, but we would not be debating strictly biblical items with actual biblical verses. It would be a conversation of guesses.

These questions often get answered through the lens of our preconceived notions. At dinner time one day, I was looking for salad tongs. The picture of the tongs that I had in my mind was a metallic pair of tongs, very specific. I looked in the drawer and didn't see any tongs. So I asked my wife where they were. She said they were in the drawer where I had just looked. So I looked again, this time without the mental picture of metallic tongs. I just looked at what was actually there. Low and behold, there was the salad tongs, but looking much different than I had envisioned. We do the same thing with our beliefs and with God that I did with the salad tongs. Too busy searching for what aligns with our thinking and missing what is plainly in front of our face the whole time. Creation & fall of the angels. Mystical City of God by Mary of Agreda 82. Of the earth Moses says, that it was void, which he does not say of the heavens; for God had created the angels at the instant indicated by the word of Moses: “God said: Let there be light, and light was made.” He speaks here not only of material light, but also of the intellectual or angelic lights. He does not make express mention of them, but merely includes them in this word, on account of the proclivity of the Hebrews to attribute Divinity to new things, even of much greater inferiority than the angels. But the metaphor of light was very appropriate to signify the angelic nature and mystically, the light of their science and grace, with which they were endowed at their creation. God created the earth conjointly with the heavens, in order to call into existence hell in its centre; for, at the instant of its creation, there were left in the interior of that globe spacious and wide cavities, suitable for hell, purgatory and limbo. And in hell was created at the same time material fire and other requisites, which now serve for the punishment of the damned. The Lord was presently to divide the light from the darkness and to call the light day and the darkness night. And this did happen not only in regard to the natural night and day, but in regard to the good and bad angels; for to the good, He gave the eternal light of his vision and called it day, the eternal day; and to the bad, the night of sin, casting them into the eternal darkness of hell. Thus we were to be taught the intimate relation between the merciful liberality of the Creator and Vivifier and the justice of the most just Judge in punishment. 83. The angels were created in the empyrean heavens and in the state of grace by which they might be first to merit the reward of glory. For although they were in the midst of glory, the Divinity itself was not to be made manifest to them face to face and unveiled, until they should have merited such a favor by obeying the divine will. The holy angels, as well as the bad ones, remained only a very short time in the state of probation; for their creation and probation with its result were three distinct instants or moments, separated by short intermissions. In the first instant they were all created and endowed with graces and gifts, coming into existence as most beautiful and perfect creatures. Then followed a short pause, during which the will of the Creator was propounded and intimated, and the law and command was given them, to acknowledge Him as their Maker and supreme Lord, and to fulfill the end for which they had been created. During this pause, instant or interval, Saint Michael and his angels fought that great battle with the dragon and his followers, which is described by the apostle Saint John in the twelfth chapter of the Apocalypse. The good angels, persevering in grace, merited eternal happiness and the disobedient ones, rebelling against God, merited the punishment, which they now suffer. 84. Although all this of the second instant could have happened in a very brief time on account of the subtle nature of the angels and the power of God, nevertheless I understood, that the kind consideration of the Most High permitted a certain delay. With the interposition of some intervals of time, He proposed to them the good and the bad, truth and falsehood, justice and injustice, divine grace and friendship as opposed to sin and enmity of God. They were enabled to see eternal reward and eternal punishment, the perdition of Lucifer and of those that would follow him. His Majesty showed them hell and its pains. They saw it all; for, by virtue of their superior and excellent nature, they understood the essence of other more qualified and limited creatures; so that, before falling from grace, they were clearly aware of the place of their chastisement. Although they did not know in the same manner the reward of glory, they had of it other knowledge and besides they had the manifest and express promise of the Lord The Most High had therefore justified his cause and proceeded with the greatest equity and justice. But as all this goodness and equity did not suffice to restrain Lucifer and his followers, they were chastised in their stubbornness and hurled into the depths of the hellish caverns, while the good angels were confirmed in eternal grace and glory. All this was consummated in the third instant, and thus it became truly manifest that no being outside of God himself is impeccable by nature, since the angel, who held such an exalted position and was adorned with so many great gifts of knowledge and grace, nevertheless sinned and was lost. What will become of human frailty, if the divine power does not defend it and if it forces God to forsake it? 85. It remains to investigate the motive, which urged Lucifer and his confederates to sin and what was the occasion of their disobedience and fall, for this is the point to which I wanted to come. In regard to this, it was made known to me that they could commit many sins as far as the guilt of sin (secundum reatum) is concerned, although they did not consummate them in acts. However, on account of those which they did actually commit freely and of their own depraved will, they acquired the disposition to all bad acts, inducing others to commit and approving in others those sins, which they could not commit themselves. Following the bad inclinations which from that time on filled Lucifer, he fell into a most disorderly self-love, which arose from the consciousness of being endowed with greater gifts and greater beauty of nature and grace, than the other inferior angels. He tarried with inordinate pleasure in this consciousness; and thus self-satisfied he became lax and remiss in the gratitude, which was due to God as the sole cause of all that he had received. Turning again and again in admiration toward himself, he took pleasure in his own beauty and grace, attributing them to himself and loving them as his own. This disorderly self-love not only caused him to exalt himself on account of the superior virtues, which he had received, but also induced him to harbor envy and covetousness for other gifts and for excellences not his own. Then, because he could not attain them, he conceived a mortal hatred and indignation against God, who created him out of nothing, and against all his creatures. 86. Hence arose his disobedience, presumption, injustice, infidelity, blasphemy, and perhaps also a certain kind of idolatry, for he coveted for himself the adoration and reverence due to God. He blasphemed the divine magnificence and holiness, he failed in the trust and loyalty due to Him; he plotted to destroy all the creatures, and presumed to be able to do all this and much more by his own power. Thus his pride ascends continually (Ps. 73, 23) and perseveres, though his arrogance is greater than his strength, for in this he cannot increase (Is. 16, 6) and in sin, one abyss calls the other (Ps. 14, 8). The first angel who sinned was Lucifer, as is described in the fourteenth chapter of Isaias. He induced others to follow him and therefore he is called the prince of the demons; not on account of his natural gifts, for these would not secure to him that title, but on account of his guilt. Those that sinned were not all of one order or hierarchy, but among all hierarchies there were many who sinned.

Our creator has put a challenge for all non-believers to make one chapter like the Quran which has 114 chapters with this perfection, arrangement, metaphysical miracles, eloquence, splendor, wise legislation, true information, true prophecy, beauty, scientific miracles, and other thousands of miracles. along with history, all the attempts have failed. The scientific miracles include The chemical composition of the human ( the clay ), the expansion of the universe, the knocking star, the origin of the universe, the orbits, the movements of the sun and the earth, the rotation of the earth, the stage of development of the only type of clouds that produce hail, the mountain as pegs, the vision in the deep seas, the variation of the amount of the air along the sky, the front of the head function, the chronological comparisons of developments of the fetus ( the bones, the body, the hearing, and the vision), the stage of the developments of the zygote, the only pain receptors, the factor that determines gender ( the sperm ), The secretion of the digestive fluid in the fly, the fertilizing winds, the mechanism of secretion of the milk, and the forbidden type of breeding ( between relatives ). You can study them by Yourself to be persuaded. Surely, you have questions. send them to me. But before doing anything, raise your hand and ask your creator to help you, to guide you, to forgive you, to enter you the heaven, and to save you from the fire. I hope you do what I asked for and accept Islam. Thanks❤️ ...

If I turns out that I've fallen too short to be worthy of salvation in the end, I hope that at least I get to see Jesus once to tell him how sorry I am that he had to suffer because of my actions. I've always been able to watch graphic, horrific violence without it making me feel depressed or crazy or anything, but when I saw the passion and I saw the suffering he went through, I could not stop crying. It still swirls in my head. I can't fathom someone so good that they choose to do what he did.
The Bible says we can know if we have eternal life, so you don't have to wait until judgement day to find out if you 'make it' into Heaven. Entey into Heaven is a free gift given by God through Jesus's death, to anyone who repents and believes. See Romans 6:23. You can pray and ask God to confirm to you that you are saved or ask him to bring you to the place and time where you truly repent and believe Him.
I don’t know if this is true or not, but heard it somewhere and it kind of made sense to me. When the angels would come gather and worship and praise God, he would appear on his throne and they would all kneel and bow down. Lucifer was the closest angel to God and one time God appeared with Jesus at his right. This confused Lucifer and he didn’t want to bow down. When he turned and saw God’s brilliance reflecting off of all of the angels worshipping Him, he got a glimpse of what it would be like to be worshipped. This is how and why he rebelled and wanted to be like God.
Only Isa. 14 has the name Lucifer and it literally does not appear in Hebrew as a name, it means son of the morning. Lucifer is a morphing from Hebrew to Latin to English. BTW it is not the Devil. Better read all of Isa. 14 and tell me how this can possible be the Devil, (vs 16, Those who see you stare at you, they ponder your fate: "Is this the man who shook the earth and made kingdoms tremble; vs 19 All the kings of the nations lie in state, each in his own tomb. But you are cast out of your tomb like a rejected branch; you are covered with the slain, with those pierced by the sword, those who descend to the stones of the pit. Like a corpse trampled underfoot,)
@@livingwordchurch1956 I don't see how people assume that Lucifer/Devil/Satan was ever an angel. The Bible never once confirms that. People are taking verses in the Bible out of context. We don't know how Satan came to be or if he was in fact an angel. We can only assume God created for one reason or another.
Well said! Blessed be Jesus I can’t wait to meet him, he seems like such a great guy. (To everyone saying he is more than just a guy yes I know he is the son of God, the messiah, he is our great savior)
Lucifer was his name at the time he only became Satan which mean's The Adversary or Satan , when the sin of pride and arrogance rose up in him. Satan sold the seeds of discontent among the 3rd part of the Angels in Heaven. Lucifer was closer to GOD'S Throne. In Isaiah he was called the son of the morning Lucifer had influence among the other Angels with Him being probably an Archangel. So Lucifer sin was this His first mistake was he got caught up in his own pride. Lucifer wanted to be like GOD. 5 times Lucifer said I want to be like GOD or sit in the Congregation on High or sit upon the Heights of Heaven , and sit and be lifted up like GOD on his Throne. Lucifer was a created angel being GOD created to serve Him. But Lucifer didn't want to serve GOD anymore so he went about sowing the seeds of discontent with the other angels claiming that GOD was unjust. And the 3rd part of the Angels followed Lucifer to try to take GOD'S Throne from Him which was a mistake they didn't have a chance GOD knew what Lucifer was planning but Lucifer thought that GOD wasn't watching you see how He underestimated His Creator just like man today underestimate GOD'S power and Authority GOD sees all , His eyes are like a Flame of Fire so then there was war in Heaven. The Archangel Michael and his angels battled Satan and his Angels , and there wasn't any place found for Satan and his angels so GOD cast them out of Heaven into this Earthly Realm where they are causing men to disobey GOD too !those that was cast out of Heaven excercised there freewill to disobey GOD and they are in chains of darkness going to and fro throughout the land seeking whom they may devour and there main purposes is this to steal , to kill , and to destroy. Because they know there fate. They know they have but a short time to do there evil. And many are caught up in the evil. So Satan influences men to do evil and to also Commit Blasphemy against GOD'S HOLY NAME. That is the sin of pride , and that's why GOD hates pride so much , because GOD said Himself that Pride goes before destruction , and a Haughty Spirit before a fall.
Your point? This is the goofiest as well as the longest evasion of the question that I have ever read outside of divinity school. All you do is assert that he sinned and then you repeat the old tale of what happened afterward. The question is why and how Lucifer could have sinned while in the state of beatific vision of God (Heaven, God's presence). Sin in Heaven? I don't think so.
Part of the reason why we are here is to deal with the sin issue. Having participated in it, bound and afflicted by it. Then delivered and reedemed from it, by our Glorious and wonderful Saviour, who paid a very real price for it, which I for one can barely continplate. One would hope to believe that that's a total end of it.
Colm Whateveryoulike - if you lose your repentance in heaven you would lose your obedience... and that would cause God to want to be apart from you... because you would be chooosing to be apart from Him!!
@@papadelta316 Who said he couldn't? Apparently the circumstances were such that creating this world was the best course of action. Or it may have just been this is how God wanted to do things. Who can know? I think the thing to bear in mind is that we're being cut off from full knowledge of the situation for some reason that has to do with our free will. And if you look at certain NDE accounts (near death experiences), this seems to be the case. A lot of people have talked about going to Heaven and being sent back with the understanding that they won't be able to remember everything they learned or seen because it would ruin or compromise their lifes purpose. What I would say is there's some set of circumstances that we're not privy to at the moment that are going explain everything perfectly in the end. I've also seen this stated in NDE's, though they couldn't remember what that information was. From how obviously -- and possibly infinitely -- intelligent & powerful the Creator of this universe is, I would say the smart money is on God knowing exactly what He's doing and being completely justified in how & why He's doing it.
My thinking is the reason why there won’t be sin in heaven is because we will follow God. We all are painfully aware of this life and what not following God brings. And in following God, we are told we will all forget this life, because the next one will be full of so much rest and be that much better.

Lucifer did not generate sin, as if it were a thing on its own. Sin is the result of something that is not of God, or goes against God. Just like darkness or "cold" cannot exist on its own, but are the result of the absence of light, or absence of heat.
I was told long ago it was because he became vain. Leading to the embodiment of the seven deadly sins and that's why we are warned so strongly about them.

Any imperfection in a creation comes from the creator if there is no other external source. If god is perfect , he could only create what is perfect, and the perfect beings he creates would be incapable of behaving imperfectly, as this would go against the definition of “perfect”. Ergo, either god is not perfect, or he is not the only source.
@@margaretbarrett6087 well you are not God and can not know the extent of his power. You and I think with our human brain. We have no concept past the physical realm
@@margaretbarrett6087 or having free will is within the definition of perfection as "perfect" is opinionative based off perspective and even possibly one's wisdom.
It has to due with perfection and keeping the image of it. The devil wanted to be prefect at all costs and as a result he ended up twisting the truth to fit his reality of being perfect. That is what caused him to lose his mind and wanting to be like God and is what brought his pride which is what caused him to downfall. That is why God loves us regardless of our imperfections because if we tried to strive to be completely perfect without acknowledging our mistakes and flaws it would cause us to become insane and it would cause us to have pride in ourselves because we would see ourselves as being perfect without God and we would just be making the same mistakes as the devil did.
I'm a Christian and love Frank but he still did not address why Satan felt the need to sin from Heaven because of free will, yet we won't feel the need to sin when we get to Heaven, according to him. I struggle with this, can anyone help?
Sin is acting in defiance of God's nature and law. In essence, sin is separating ourselves from God. We who will be in Heaven with God, are those that, even though we are currently separated, strive to be united with God once more. That is the difference between Satan's choices and ultimate outcome and our choices and ultimate outcome. Since we are trying to be united with God, even though we have the possibility to turn away again, we won't.
Satan is not accused of sinning, but rather of rebellion against God. Based on scripture, the angels do not have free will. If there's no free will, there's no sin, only rebellion. IF there's no sin, there's no repentance. As we know, Satan cannot and will not repent. You can see the rebellion part of the demonic kingdom in full play when Jesus drives the demons from out of two men into a herd of pigs. Matt 8:28-34. You'd imagine that the demons possessing the men would have implored for mercy, instead they asked that be sent into a herd of pigs. Why possess pigs is in itself an interesting subject to ponder upon, but that's a discussion for another day. Suffice to know that pigs were considered impure under Jewish law, and Jesus was a Jew. That is my understanding of it. Hope it helps rather than confuse it further.
He did address it. Unfortunately why Satan did that is not told to us. He speculated/reasoned how Satan was able to do it but there isn't an explanation on the why. I have heard others speculate that Satan thought he was a perfect being and thought he should be God. As a created being he simply cannot be God, but he didn't want to accept that and rebelled. Sounds reasonable to me, but we simply do not know why.
The reason Satan rebelled was because he wanted to be God. The more spiritual version of what we humans without Jesus are trying to do. Divination and Idolatry, essentially.
i Praise God for his mercy grace and love he is Great and powerful and majestic and awesome and all knowing wow what a great God we serve he's not Limited to space time or matter so awesome.

@@chrissonofpear1384 When people go into things with bias and no desire to put genuine thought into them, they'll get conclusions like the one you just posted. But I understand, because theist HUMANS have given religion a bad name. So if you'll stick around for a quick read, I want to challenge your philosophy AND that of Christians - starting with a message from God you've probably been waiting years to hear a Christian express.. "The one who still believes in eternal hell is currently working through one of their own..." - God, Am, 2021 God and Jesus are not unforgiving and lazy like us judges and jailers. They will WORK with us. And they don't care if you believe in these human stories or idolize the prophets that spoke of and acted in their name. They just want you to be able to coexist with them and our perfect eternal lucid dream - which nobody knows anything about except them. God is your unconscious: simply has been, is, and will be again. Am is those rare moments of ethereal peace not even a single thought can taint. Am is an enigma of infinite proportions. Am governs the logic of both land (Reality) and sea (Consciousness) at all times. Am also digests our food and keeps us breathing in our lake of fire - so don't think for a second that there's a single consciousness who ever was, ever is, or ever will be forgotten... Jesus is your subconscious: the man with a plan (and a plan B, and a plan C, and a plan...) the guy who can handle both human thinking and divine thinking, the guy who keeps us on time and gives us memory and watches the road for our spoiled asses when we text and drive. In a nutshell, he's our guide through .. ourselves - and he wishes we'd at least put in effort to untangle our conscious from him so he can work with us full-time again just as it was when we were innocent children... Sin is simply conscious thought. (Let's think about it, because we don't trust God enough to simply continue rowing the boat down the crystal clear stream of Life...) From there you get the knowledge of Good and Evil as well as free will. And from there you get what we commonly THINK is sin (immorality). And from there WE put ourselves and others in hell. Sin is a clusterfuck that NO human can avoid, especially those with past traumas. (If only a holy ghost could whisp our thoughts into a more stable .. yet kinda trippy place, and eventually take over altogether. It'd be quite educative and dreamy, no?) Anyone who thinks this is as simple as believing in a God, a man, and a story is mistaken. That goes double for those who believe God responds to sin by torturing us. That's all primitive, dopamine-based thinking and it's time we move past it into something more wise. Seek God's wisdom, not that which these false prophets spew from their confused place; have empathy and think DEEPER so the holy ghost can guide your minds and show you that only YOU can make the devil in the mirror dissappear... This isn't a medival fairytale and this isn't a sadistic SAW trap. This is REALITY, CONSCIOUSNESS, GOD!!! Blessed is the one who keeps the word of GOD's prophecy and heads towards the growing light that is our eternal dream; tormented are those who keep the lies of man and remain put in this growing lake of fire that we call a Universe, exploiting its pleasures and ignoring that it already ended before it stated!!! Trust me, things are about to get emotional and weird for those who choose to stay as the beast comes onto the scene and turns human life into a techno-mockery of Heaven. But in the end, we will ALL contribute in growing our lucid paradise and serve God by helping bring the next humanity into it - for God is happier seeing that 1 sheep who strayed for a thousand years return than Am is seeing the 99 stay put, and one day we too will share in that feeling... 👁 Take care and maybe I'll witness you sometime during the eternal dream. Maybe I'll even see you there tonight. Don't think about it too much on your own ;)
And don't ask either Like what does one DO in Heaven? Any work? or is it one vast Retirement Home? Billions of lazy shameless people sponging off God for eternity like prostitutes/gigolos/leeches/freeloaders do down here Or what about our loved ones down on earth? If I am the breadwinner and I am dead, is my little child starving? Homeless? Don't care anymore right?
I really like Frank’s content, however, I’m not quite sure I agree with the premise. The bigger question would be, SINCE God knew that satan would sin, why would He still choose to create him? Ultimately, it is for His own glory. Everything through Christ is subject to Him. Our minds, heart, and wills. Nothing happens without it ultimately being willed by the Father. That’s what it means to be sovereign; and He is truly sovereign.
I believe He wanted to allow for Satan to sin so that there would be good versus evil so that people truly have to make a choice on what they believe in and how they live their life
Due to how reality is so ordained by spiritual laws, even evil itself ultimately serves the greater good, since works of evil prove themselves to always be unfruitful, proving that only good can flourish. God is letting Satan's plan unfold as a demonstration to all of creation, which will prove how the law of God is perfect and good and that anything done without God is doomed for destruction.
My thought is that, even tho God already knew what was going to happen, its because he know that Lucifer disagree with him and does not want to follow him because of that.. he knew Lucifer wants his freedom of choice. Because God is so perfect, he is not a selfish God. God respected Lucifer's choice that he is gonna sin. If his children choose to do something even tho it is not right, He lets them do it and then correct them so that they will know what is right. You don't really understand what is right unless you sin first then God corrects you. And you wont really know God's greatness if he can't show that to you contrasting light and evil. This is just my personal thought tho.
Santana Reyes Because God created Satan, the waster, to destroy. Satan cannot help but carry out the function for which he was created. God is in charge and he is sovereign.
Think about this, I guess some in here already stated this. Fallen angel satan does not have Salvation because HE sinned knowingly being in Heaven the very presence of GOD. We are shown Grace & Mercy & the Salvation is for us because Eve was deceived by satan. We were all deceived & also we were not in Heaven when the sin was committed but on the earth. GOD knew the possibility of sin when HE created Adam & Eve because satan had already sinned & he is the adversary. That is why GOD wanted them to guard the garden but they did not have a clue what GOD was referring to. They could have said no to serpent but they didn't. They were deceived by serpent. GOD is Love, HIS Love is unconditional & HE is so Good. I love HIM not because if I don't or accept JESUS CHRIST that I might end up in hell but the main reason is this, HE Loves me so much, John 3:16 - GOD so Loved the World that HE sent HIS Son for us into this World so that we may not perish but have Eternal Life through HIS Son LORD JESUS CHRIST. If HE can empty HIMSELF of HIS Heavenly Glory to come down in the form of a servant & take my punishment since GOD is Righteous & Holy , this is a must. Holy means nothing unholy can stand in HIS presence & survive. I should be really out of my mind to say No to this Free Gift of Salvation from GOD Thank you LORD for your Amazing Grace & Love for me which I honestly do not deserve one bit. All Glory, Praise & Honor be to your Holy Name. Amen

@@Jrjejhbfh Greetings to you in the Name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. The fact that you are talking about GOD's calling or if you are even a Christian proves that GOD loves you & wants you to be Saved if you have not yet been Saved. Salvation is very expensive that no one can pay for it, but at the same time it is a 'Free Gift' of GOD Almighty to us through HIS Son our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Only GOD could have paid for our sin problem which separates us from GOD. Remember this, there will be people out there who would scare you that you would go to hell if you don't do this or that. Ephesians 2:5-9 (You are Saved by Grace of GOD through Faith, this is a free Gift from GOD lest anyone should boast that they were Saved bcos they did this or that. Look at the answer he was given. 'Believe in the LORD JESUS, you & your household will be Saved') He was not told 'can be Saved', but will be Saved bcos it is a Promise from GOD the Father Almighty. This is the Promise, John 3:16 (GOD so Loved the world that HE sent HIS Only Son that whosoever believes in HIS Son LORD JESUS CHRIST will have Eternal Life) Salvation is simple & plain to understand, but people out there who care for only money do not care about people's Soul. All you have to do is this: Repent of our sins & ask forgiveness for the sins you have committed, we all have done so many sins & we may not remember all of it, well that is fine. You just have to ask for forgiveness & then believe that LORD JESUS died for your sins & took your punishment on the tree (cross) & rose again from the dead & now HE is seated at the Right hand of GOD the father Father Almighty & is interceding for you & me since HE is our Mediator. Once you repent, ask for forgiveness & believe in the finished redemptive of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, HE immediately cleanses you with HIS Precious Blood of your sins & makes sure spirit as pure as snow that is to say HE makes clean & Holy. Since you have put your Faith in JESUS, HE will impute HIS Righteousness on to you & you are in no time called as Righteous not bcos of you did something, but Remember Salvation is a 'Free Gift' from GOD so HE makes you & calls you as Righteous, all bcos of your trust in HIS Son JESUS CHRIST. Then immediately you are sealed unto the day of Redemption by the Holy Spirit of GOD. The Holy Spirit of GOD gives you the assurance & confirmation in your heart that you have been Saves by the Blood of the Lamb referring to LORD JESUS CHRIST as HE is the Lamb of GOD who takes away the sin of the world. Also the Holy Spirit of GOD will give you the assurance & confirmation you are a child of GOD Almighty & enables you to call GOD Almighty as Father. Holy Spirit then teaches you the GOD's Word from the Bible. To be Saved, to be made Righteous, to have the Holy Spirit indwelling on the inside of you, you don't have to do anything, bit believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST as your LORD & Savior. 1 John 5:10-13 (Says if you have the Son, you have Eternal Life bcos the Eternal Life is in HIS Son our LORD JESUS CHRIST - The Holy Spirit of GOD gives you the Witness for it, how amazing this is) Also read 1 John 4:9-10, 14 (GOD the Father Almighty showed us HIS Love by sending HIS Son JESUS for us & to die for us as the Propitiation for our sins.......GOD Almighty sent HIS Son JESUS as the 'Savior of the World'......) 1 John 3:1 ( Privilege of being called as the Children of GOD) 1 John 3:5 (HE came to bear our sins & cleanse us...) 1 John 2:1-2 (Pls read this, it says JESUS CHRIST is the Mediator who intercedes for us & then HE is called as the Propitiation of our sins not only ours, but of the sins of the world.....) 1 John 2:12 (Bcos of HIS Name, our sins have been forgiven.......) 1 John 2:27 (GOD has anointed us with HIS Holy Spirit & HE teaches us everything........) 1 John 2:7, 9 (When we confess our sins, it will be forgiven......) Galatians 2:20 (.....We live for CHRIST..........) You can have a relationship with GOD Almighty through HIS Son our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Once you believe in JESUS CHRIST, you have Eternal life already as that Eternal Life is in JESUS CHRIST. Glory & praise be to GOD Almighty & you are blessed.
Rudolph Valentine thank you so much! See I try to believe that. And I think that I do, but there’s always been a part of me that doubts everything.
It's in Ezekiel's vision of God that the angels and God are of different firmament. Angels are very well aware of God's existence but there's a separation between them. In that way free will can be practiced,so Frank Turek's explanation is inline with the Bible
Pinkypie Yep, right on. Theres a science to it, many think angels are on equal plain to God but they are below. they are created just like us, more similar to us than to God himself.

I think asking the Holy spirit is worthwhile in these types of questions, as even though it may not be in scripture, God will put a vision or an answer into your mind. The more you spend time with God and trust in him he will reveal precisely the information needed. Always trust God to provide through the holy spirit I say. 🕊

Wow. Years ago I asked this question when I was 12ish. I absolutely stumped my youth pastor at the time. I’m so glad that I found this because this was a great explanation to my question.
@@a.39886 Hey! I know this comment is over a year old, but I'm still going to try to answer these. 1) Did Lucifer had free will to decide to rebel against God? Yes. Satan (alongside every other angel/fallen angel) has free will. 2) Or did God created Satan just for the purpose of trying to find the true humans who love him and will worship for eternity? I think God made good from a bad situation with this one. Because Satan could tempt Adam and Eve, this also gave them to ability to turn against God if they wanted to. Even though Satan turned away from Him, God may have made it a bit of a system to where Adam and Eve could deny Him if they wanted to (like including the Tree of Knowledge). That's my make of it anyways. 3) Is the "corrupted world" the "trials of Satan" are the way to determine what humans will receive salvation in their heart and will go to heaven with God and what humans will go to hell? I'm not too sure what this is referring to. I think you mean just earth in general and the temptations that come alongside it. It could be a test. The way gets to heaven is through Christ, so if somebody choses to deny Him, then that determines it. Living on this earth can make it fairly easy to deny Christ, so it could be a trial of sorts. We all have to start on earth too, so we can exactly skip to the finish line. 4) If God is all knowing and all powerful Why not create only the first group of humans and not the second so in this case there is no need to send most of mankind to hell? In my mind, I feel it's only a matter of time before humans would have denied God. As far as we know, Adam and Eve were in the Garden for decades. Given mere days or millions of years, eventually somebody would do it

@@a.39886 I will answer your last question. God already knew us before we existed, for He is timeless. God does not intervene in our free will, not even before creating someone, knowing they will sin. Even then, throughout that person's life, God will let things play out and offer that person chances of repentance. God's foreknowledge does not impact our free will, because regardless if He knew or not, we would have made those choices anyway. In God's eyes, we are all individual creatures who deserve to make our own choices, and He respects that.

lucifer did not sin, this is very clear, instead he created evil, Adam sinned because of all the humans created by God , he is the only one given a specific instruction and failed , lucifer was never given an order to stay away from the tree of life, he instead had a job to lead angels to worship God , lucifer created evil through pride in seeing himself equal to God, he is the best looking thing created by God(JESUS was born not made, yes God being a male was capable of giving birth) so this is actually a very shallow question because it shows clear lack of insight especially not understanding why Adam was created in the first place, the bible never talks about when lucifer and the angels were created, definately not at the same time as humans, we were only created after an existence in heaven were lucifer and the angel fell from , but this simple understanding and order of events elude a lot of simple minded peaople, the same way pple think Adam and Eve were the only humans made, God created other people at the same time who lived outside the garden of Eden, even when Adam was expelled ,God put 4 cherubs to guard exit/access point all the way from Iraq to Ethiopia, read Genesis 2 , thats how big the garden of Eden was.

He knew who was going to be a part of his kingdom before the foundation of the world... so my last part of what I wrote.. when I said “if we follow him” (making it seem as if we have a choice) Jesus knows his sheep... and he won’t let any go astray.. (John 10) he is the good Shepard.. he knows who is going to be in his kingdom.. before we were born.. before the foundation of the world.. God chooses us, we don’t choose him...(this is a verse too) we’re witnesses...
Great question. So here is a reply to this question. Angels would have seen the Majority of the creation which would make their faith sight and complete. This means that angels got only 1 chance to choose God or Lucifer because they, without ANY doubt, knew who God is. Adam didn't get to see any of the creation at all. Even when Eve was created, Adam was put under by God and reawakened to her. God walked with them in the garden and talked with them but they had to believe that this random person claiming to be God actually was indeed Him. Humanity has this opportunity with constant freewill.
Interesting way to put that. Also I’m thinking sinning is a lot more like purposely ignoring a map and getting lost. If God gave us no direction or laws or standards of righteousness to chose to follow then there would be no “sin”. It is our free will to reject what is good and whatever imaginations we come up with away from God’s direction that are sin. In a sense we were given the ability to create sin and WE create sin.

what you are saying is kind interesting however I wish to follow the question in sincere hope to preserve a believing that must be true but also it is quite hard to understand that the only reason to create satan and allow it to exist is because he has according to your answer love as we now that he is the great adversary (right) and he try to trick us to sin but now you tell me that is impossible to had free will if God intervene but has not already God intervene allowing Satan to exist? Furthermore Satan was in the presence of God and he had free will to oppose him so for humans that sometimes had doubts about God existence because he is not present in the world is not a justification to not have free will, then if he is capable to allow humans to had free will would be also possible to create already only the humans that he knows in the future with free will would chose him and not send the other humans to hell? @@ponderonit3816 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. (Letter of James, chapter 1) This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. (Gospel of John, chapter 3) When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (Gospel of John, chapter 8) Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me..." (Gospel of John, chapter 14)
For those believers who are anxious with finding answers to such questions, do not let it ruin the peace the Lord Jesus has given us. Not knowing all the answers to the hidden mysteries here on earth or on heaven is not a sin. The confusions and questions that are directly associated with the Bible and the Gospel of Christ however, is the real deal.
@@lutkedog1 If it is, why did it made me a better person? I was a person who easily gets irritated before, dishonoring my parents and very proud. But not anymore. I am now filled with love, which is the whole point of the Bible. I don't think it is a fiction mate.
Whenever I enter a lengthy discussion with someone about why God would set up the situation of life we're currently experiencing in the first place, it usually boils down to God wanting to create something that chooses to love him. It's likened to having kids ourselves, and how the being must have a choice to sin or not. To me, God has already achieved this with the angels that apparently have the free will to choose to align themselves with him or not. But the Crux of the issue to me is, why is it damnation if you don't choose God? I think Turek put it very well here when he said there had to be some degree of separation between the angels and God in order for them to have free will. My question is why does God treat not choosing him as the original sin, as evil? Why not simply unmake Satan or allow him to live without constant and endless torture?
Because Satan “Is” evil, he became evil. Satan birthed evil. God wants a creation to freely choose He and to luv Him without any force, so He won’t force us to choose Him but Satan choose to try and dethrone God. He wanted to be God and that’s not Gods fault it’s Satans, so Satan “will” live in torture forever, and he’s not wearing a mask because it’s his fault. (Good for him) And if you don’t choose God who is the source of Good and is sovereign then u choose the Opposite of good “evil” God doesn’t want us to live on our own He wants us to live through Him and to let Him make our choices because he wants us to need Him. He knows what’s best for us and he knows what we “need”. All glory goes to him because He’s perfect and we are not. Right now we don’t understand because we are flawed creatures so our minds won’t be able to comprehend his righteousness and his goodness. But when we go to Heaven we will know everything He knows.
Because God is just. There is no other good or light apart from Him, therefore any separation from Him is darkness and evil. And just as we humans want justice when we see evil happen to us or others, God all the more wants it. We are made in His image. I’ve asked the same and this is where God brought me to.. took me a long time to grasp. Hopefully this helps.

I already understand all of that.
Okay, this is not addressed directly in the Bible at all. I'm still in my early stages of reading the Bible sincerely but I'll share my thoughts on this one. As a believer, first and foremost we need to understand how God is though we will never understand Him fully. That means accepting that He can do all things literally. Now, I believe there was God first and He created angels to accompany, serve and glorify Him in heaven or whatever realm that is. And just as he later created man and gave him FREE WILL that we may be conscious of happiness, sadness and every feeling, and so that our reverence for Him is legitimate, I believe He gave that same free will to the angels before man was created. This free will certainly has to come at the cost of some not revering Him, or else it wouldn't be free will if every being, angel or human revere Him.
Hope some one can answer this in this example Lucifer had free will to decide to rebel against God or God created Satan just for the purpose of trying to find the true humans who love him and will worship for eternity, and if God is all knowing and all powerful couldn´t just he created only the humans that will in the end after the trials that he knows will go to heaven with hell and in this case he doesn´t need to send half or more of mankind to hell?
@@a.39886 Romans 5:8 (ESV) but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Yes, you are correct that God could have simply created souls without free will and incorruptible and placed them into heaven and told them every day how much He loves them. But God didn't want to just tell us that He loves us. He decided to show us. He gave us free will knowing that we would choose to sin and bound us in a covenant that would demand a sacrifice be made for the payment of that sin. Because it is by that very sacrifice that God made on our behalf that His love for us is proven and made complete. And that free gift of salvation is available to all. For those who reject it, their sin is still bound by the law and requires a payment - they have just chosen to pay for their sin on their own. I encourage you to obey the command of God to go out and tell everyone who is willing to listen that they don't have to pay for their sin on their own, because God loves them so much He already made the sacrifice for them. All they have to do is turn away from their sin, turn towards God, and accept the free gift of salvation.

True enough, God is omniscient and knows all the choices we are going to make (good and evil) as creatures exercising free will but He doesn't interfere. God's ambition isn't to be a puppet master. It seems to me the unbelievers want the gift of freewill WITHOUT having to actually answer for any crimes they commit. That's the real problem they have with God.....is that one day they will have to answer to Him. And they know intuitively He is a righteous judge.
Exactly! They love sin too much so that is why they think God is forceful. Once you really get to know who God really is, you wouldnt even wanna go back to your old ways and you wouldnt even fear hell anymore because you know for yourself that He has redeemed you because He loves you and that He has set a promise for you and for all who just believe in Jesus! As simple as that. He came to die for US ALL. It's our choice wether to accept that FREE PERFECT GIFT. Why wouldnt you not accept it?
so why give free will and then punish eternally and so horribly for someone freely choosing??? See its all because for many people this has been taught to you from childhood so obviously difficult t o unlearn and the threat of hell makes people unable to reason. Imagine I tell your daughter I love her so much and would even sacrifice all my property for her. But by the way if she doesn't believe me or love me back, then I will have her torched up? Its acceptable to you? dont you think its only the likes of Adolf Hitler and his vile henchmen who would love to see people burn in fire for eternity? But a loving God ? ANyway will you trust someone who kills his child for any purpose however Good? Is God himself not supposed to be an example for us?So he chose Judas knowing very well hes going to do what he did, and then blame him? So Judas looks like he was used. Dont you think so? The whoel crucifiction was planned by his Dad above and yet Judas is blamed for being the hatchet man. If the crucifiction was a good thing for humanity why did Jesus say the soldiers should be forgiven for not knowing what hthey are doing? Were they really doing something bad? Isnt the crucifiction supposed to be a good thing that leads to salvation? so why should they be forgiven for playing thier part? Is it sinful to use your brains which obviously was made to undertke critical analysis? Does it add up? Not saying I believe one thing or another - but my conclusion would be depression is something that eminates from the physical or dysfunctional brain as in chemical imbalances and such. @Applicant Number 301 very interesting, thanks. I would think so. The difference between us and angels is that they don’t not have to rely on faith to witness the glory of God as they are constantly in his presence. They witness omnipotence to a far greater detail than we could image. With that in mind would you choose to disobey the almighty who has created you or do try and combat that with a legion to see if you’re stronger. The devil chose his path and so did the demons( which I would guess some of them are angels too, that followed) that followed. We all have free will, Angels just have a clearer perspective of what is going on.
@@KEC0001 Well, in order for angels to commit the sin of rebellion against God, there would have to be an environment in Heaven which would allow for sin. We have that environment here on earth, but Heaven is supposed to be an environment where there is no sin...🤔
Alright, in so many words, your current response takes us back to my first question: "Do angels have freewill to choose, as humans do?" When we have no scripture to say they do, and no scripture to even show that they were ever created, (even though we know they exist), it is unreasonable then to conclude that negative scriptures about angels are anything more than metaphors. There is no discord where God dwells. Only sinful man makes and allows for unpeaceful environments. A sinful environment would also be an unholy environment, and The Holy God would never dwell in such an environment. Therefore, it's more reasonable to believe that a separate race of creature, apart from man and angels, was created being superior to man, which would be what those negative scriptures about angels are referring to... Also, Lucifer was the term used to describe King Nebuchadnezzar in Isaiah 14.
there are some things we as humans will never be able to comprehend even if God did explain it to us, because our mind is so simple to the complex of his thinking and reasoning, that's why trust is one of the most important things when following Jesus Christ!
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” A picture or reflection is an image, to be like somebody is reflected in who you are, now knowing evil do you want to be engaged in it, or do you want to focus on the Love of Christ, and do good regardless of the evil you know of. The word “Christian” actually means “being like Christ” 1 Peter 3:8-11 Isaiah 43:13 John 10:28-29

Think of it this was if you were to program a game and didn't allow them to punch with their left arm that doesn't mean you can't. So applying that reasoning to your question then why are you assuming God had a beginning?? our logic tells us everything in our physical "realm" can be observed and seen and according to the way we think it must have a beginning. Such as yourself a tree the earth the sun a cell and the universe itself. So assuming that God had a beginning will get you nowhere and the greater question is why did the universe begin? were we an accident or were we made on purpose? what if the universe was never created then we wouldn't be here. well all we know is that everything has a cause and God caused the universe you abide in.
Dan Delgado id have to disagree with that. God does not have a cause because he was the cause of all of this. That being included “pratityasamutapada” of whatever that is. Why are you going to apply that to God?? He does but need a creator without time. No time equals no beginning no end. If everything needs more than one cause and my belief on God as well as all other Christians is an all knowing all powerful God therefore he himself is enough to create the universe. The universe began to exist. Nothingness is quite impossible even voids in space is something. It’s impossible for something specifically a universe with life sustaining properties is quite illogical to think happened by chance. The chances for a life sustaining universe is 1/10^160. There has only been 10^17 seconds in the history of the universe. You and me can both agree that the universe had a beginning due to time space and matter. So why apply not only time but all of our laws and reasoning to an all powerful God who created the very law you are trying to apply to him

Correct! and the same way children can suffer from bad or corrupted parenting, we too can suffer from false teachings about the Bible and our heavenly Father. The Bible in itself mentions that false preachers and prophets would arise in the last days. Did you know that many false religious leaders preach that Jesus Christ is God? However, the Bible shows us that God has a name and His son Jesus Christ declared this name and made it known to those whom he preached to. The Bible also says that his name will be sanctified among the nations. His name is Jehovah, and He is the most high Ruler and Creator of the Universe. This name was removed in some Bibles like the KJV for e.g. whereas it appeared some 7000+ times in the original Hebrew and Greek scriptures!
Hope some one can answer this I have not found an answer yet thanks for your time 1) Did Lucifer had free will to decide to rebel against God? 2) Or did God created Satan just for the purpose of trying to find the true humans who love him and will worship for eternity? 3) Is the "corrupted world" the "trials of Satan" the way to determine what humans will receive salvation in their heart and will go to heaven with God and what humans will go to hell? 4) If God is all knowing and all powerful Why not create only the first group of humans that will get salvation and not the second so in this there is no need to send most of mankind to hell?
Heaven is abstract, it is not real. When they preach at the funeral, they talk about how the deceased is in Abraham's bossom and how they are engulfed with joy and happiness along with other saints in heaven. Now we are at the cemetery, and the coffin is going down and the preacher's tone is shifted from the heavenly dwelling of the deceased to "May His/Her Soul Rest In Peace". You get the idea? You're just merely giving us comfort by giving us this idea that your loved ones are heaven and that we should not despair but then at the end you talk about "may their soul rest in eternal peace"? In other words we are not in heaven we are just simply sleeping. We cant see a damn thing! An important follow-up question would have been, if it is possible to have free will without sin in heaven, why couldn't God have done that the first time around? You are unknowingly putting a prerequisite on God's power by saying, well he had to do it this way because he had no other choice. If he had no other choice and this was the best option, why is he called omnipotent let alone good?
Adam Courtney you misunderstand the meaning of omnipotent. God is still confined to laws of logic. It is not that God created sin in heaven. It’s that He allows there to be sin. To love fully, completely, and perfectly in the agape sense, requires one to have the ability to choose to give such love- that is what makes love such a powerful gift. Absent of choice to serve and worship, people would be slaves, for a slave has no choice. God is love, and God knew that such love would require choice.

If the religious word “sin,” was replaced with the non-religious word “behavior,” that thought would bring you back to earth with a thud, and you would no longer believe that a god existed, that was spying on you, to judge your every thought and deed. We should be taught that we are born whole, and that, concerning how we treat others, the onus is on us.
Rather than being a fictitious character in an anti-Semitic book labeled as being holy, had Jesus existed, Judaism would have been his only focus. Umm... what? The new heavens and new earth that Jesus has gone to prepare are described as having a gate around them that nothing unrighteous can enter through. No such characteristic of "perfection" is ever assigned in scripture to the heaven that Satan sinned in.
I've thought of this question and hundreds more that most Christians turn a blind eye to; but posting my questions here would only harm others' faith instead of helping mine, because no one can give a real answer to the questins I have.
I don't get that idea that there was a "distance" between God and the angels, that the angels could not see the full glory of God. Lucifer was a Seraph--the highest order of angels (Seraphim, Cherubim and Thrones) that interacts continuously with God and God alone. The very idea of heaven is to be in the full presence of God with all of his glory revealed. That is why humans want to go to heaven in the purest sense. By the way, now you know just how powerful one single Seraph is in it's influence upon humanity on Earth.
Being in the presence of God doesnt mean you also have infinite perception. The reason the different orders of Angel's have hierarchy is because of their ability to see God in His fullness- and even the highest order "contemplates His mystery" always and forever. That is- they dont comprehend him fully despite spending eternity looking at Him.
So, if he answered her question, this means that either Satan is an anomaly or it's incredible that no other angels have sinned since then. Is Satan the most successful case of "making an example out of him?" Also, would that mean any person saved and living in heaven now could potentially sin? Or are they not currently in a place where they have free will?
Remember Satan took 1/3 of the angels with him. They're demons now. So the rest of the angels clearly see that what Satan did was evil and find no urge to join him. Potential sin in heaven? i'm not sure
In heaven, it's like a marriage. Some people can commit the rest of their lives to someone, and some can't. You still have the freedom to cheat on your mate, but if it's a good marriage, you will be faithful forever, so yes, you can sin in heaven, but you won't, and God knows who and who can't go the whole distance.

Wow some amazing points, the both of you!
That is not in the scriptures.

We are slaves of Christ but that is still a true freedom compared to being a slave of sin. You will always have a master but you choose which one to serve.

Creation & fall of the angels. Mystical City of God by Mary of Agreda
82. Of the earth Moses says, that it was void, which he does not say of the heavens; for God had created the angels at the instant indicated by the word of Moses:
“God said: Let there be light, and light was made.” He speaks here not only of material light, but also of the intellectual or angelic lights.

That’s interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Well said! Blessed be Jesus I can’t wait to meet him, he seems like such a great guy. (To everyone saying he is more than just a guy yes I know he is the son of God, the messiah, he is our great savior)

Boy are you going to be disappointed, oh wait, you won't be because you'll be dead and never know you were wrong.
More than a guy tho, he is all of humanity's savior.
HOW COULD he sow it, if they had NO doubts, or dissatisfaction?

Lucifer is not satan’s name. It just means “light bringing” or “morning star,Venus”. We don’t actually know the devils name.

By this very idea I believe that the future introduction of aliens will really just be the introduction of fallen angels.
Is it possible that Satan got fed up? Even people with power and money end up killing themselves or are depressed.

Yes I think so aswell,
Lucifer's sin was 100% self generated. How he pulled that off and continued down that path? Only God knows.

Q How could Satan have sinned when he was in Heaven?
My A No one is perfect but God
Sorry but that’s incorrect. The angels are aware of sin but are unaffected by it. The Bible says “Lucifer thou wast perfect at the day I created thee”
He wanted power

@@PlanoFSXer Rebellion against God is sin.
Hope some one can answer this I have not found an answer yet thanks for your time
1) Did Lucifer had free will to decide to rebel against God?
2) Or did God created Satan just for the purpose of trying to find the true humans who love him and will worship for eternity?
3) Is the "corrupted world" the "trials of Satan" are the way to determine what humans will receive salvation in their heart and will go to heaven with God and what humans will go to hell?
4) If God is all knowing and all powerful Why not create only the first group of humans and not the second so in this case there is no need to send most of mankind to hell?

"The one who still believes in eternal hell is currently working through one of their own..." - God, Am, 2021
God and Jesus are not unforgiving and lazy like us judges and jailers.
It'd be quite educative and dreamy, no?)
Anyone who thinks this is as simple as believing in a God, a man, and a story is mistaken.

And don't ask either
Like what does one DO in Heaven? Any work? or is it one vast Retirement Home? Billions of lazy shameless people sponging off God for eternity like prostitutes/gigolos/leeches/freeloaders do down here
Or what about our loved ones down on earth?
I should be really out of my mind to say No to this Free Gift of Salvation from GOD
Thank you LORD for your Amazing Grace & Love for me which I honestly do not deserve one bit.

Greetings to you in the Name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
It is purely bcos of Grace through Faith in the Finished Redemptive work of our LORD & Savior JESUS CHRIST)
Philippians 2:6-8 (This explains why & how JESUS came down from Heaven to Save us)
Read Acts 16:25-32 (In Philippi, a jailer asks Apostle Paul & Silas that what they should do to get Saved? Look at the answer he was given. 'Believe in the LORD JESUS, you & your household will be Saved') He was not told 'can be Saved', but will be Saved bcos it is a Promise from GOD the Father Almighty.
This is the Promise, John 3:16 (GOD so Loved the world that HE sent HIS Only Son that whosoever believes in HIS Son LORD JESUS CHRIST will have Eternal Life)
Salvation is simple & plain to understand, but people out there who care for only money do not care about people's Soul.
1 John 5:10-13 (Says if you have the Son, you have Eternal Life bcos the Eternal Life is in HIS Son our LORD JESUS CHRIST - The Holy Spirit of GOD gives you the Witness for it, how amazing this is)
Also read 1 John 4:9-10, 14 (GOD the Father Almighty showed us HIS Love by sending HIS Son JESUS for us & to die for us as the Propitiation for our sins.......GOD Almighty sent HIS Son JESUS as the 'Savior of the World'......)
1 John 3:1 ( Privilege of being called as the Children of GOD)
1 John 3:5 (HE came to bear our sins & cleanse us...)
1 John 2:1-2 (Pls read this, it says JESUS CHRIST is the Mediator who intercedes for us & then HE is called as the Propitiation of our sins not only ours, but of the sins of the world.....)
1 John 2:12 (Bcos of HIS Name, our sins have been forgiven.......)
1 John 2:27 (GOD has anointed us with HIS Holy Spirit & HE teaches us everything........)
1 John 2:7, 9 (When we confess our sins, it will be forgiven......)
Galatians 2:20 (.....We live for CHRIST..........)
You can have a relationship with GOD Almighty through HIS Son our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
“God said: Let there be light, and light was made.” He speaks here not only of material light, but also of the intellectual or angelic lights.
So, can we chose to sin in heaven? If not are we mindless robots?
Satan was created by this God. By definition, he never had a choice anyways.

It's in Ezekiel's vision of God that the angels and God are of different firmament. Angels are very well aware of God's existence but there's a separation between them. In that way free will can be practiced,so Frank Turek's explanation is inline with the Bible

God's foreknowledge does not impact our free will, because regardless if He knew or not, we would have made those choices anyway. lucifer did not sin, this is very clear, instead he created evil, Adam sinned because of all the humans created by God , he is the only one given a specific instruction and failed , lucifer was never given an order to stay away from the tree of life, he instead had a job to lead angels to worship God , lucifer created evil through pride in seeing himself equal to God, he is the best looking thing created by God(JESUS was born not made, yes God being a male was capable of giving birth) so this is actually a very shallow question because it shows clear lack of insight especially not understanding why Adam was created in the first place, the bible never talks about when lucifer and the angels were created, definately not at the same time as humans, we were only created after an existence in heaven were lucifer and the angel fell from , but this simple understanding and order of events elude a lot of simple minded peaople, the same way pple think Adam and Eve were the only humans made, God created other people at the same time who lived outside the garden of Eden, even when Adam was expelled ,God put 4 cherubs to guard exit/access point all the way from Iraq to Ethiopia, read Genesis 2 , thats how big the garden of Eden was.

Pretty simple. It's the love of God that made evil to exist.

Yes we are.
The best question iv ever heard in my entire life 🔥
Great question.

Brain Washing
(Good for him)
And if you don’t choose God who is the source of Good and is sovereign then u choose the Opposite of good “evil”
God doesn’t want us to live on our own He wants us to live through Him and to let Him make our choices because he wants us to need Him.
In order for God to be God, He must reward righteousness and punish evil.
@@seanc2788 Let me explain the following:
People bring a child into the world, it is most likely that he will end up being condemned to hell, which is established in the bible in
Matthew 7: 13-14.
“13 You can only enter the kingdom of God through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to hell; That is why many people prefer them. 14 But small is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life, and very few people find it."
There is no way that as mere humans we can guarantee that if we have children they will go to heaven, so we will be responsible for allowing them to come into the world and then their future eternal torture in hell and damnation.
Even those who try to search cannot because Satan, other evil religions, the world and the flesh itself are doing everything possible to condemn them to hell for eternity from the moment they are born.
James 1:14-15 1 "14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then lust, after it has conceived, gives birth to sin; and sin, being finished, gives birth to to light death.

@@a.39886 I was just simply answering the original question of why is it damnation if you don't choose God. Because He must punish wickedness, He has no choice. He doesn't want to throw His creation into hell, but if they don't choose Him, there is not much else He can do for them.
I don't know where all this other stuff came from.
Hope some one can answer this in this example Lucifer had free will to decide to rebel against God or God created Satan just for the purpose of trying to find the true humans who love him and will worship for eternity, and if God is all knowing and all powerful couldn´t just he created only the humans that will in the end after the trials that he knows will go to heaven with hell and in this case he doesn´t need to send half or more of mankind to hell?

but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
@@turkeybobjr then I ask:
For what purpose did God create us?
Let me explain the following:

That's the real problem they have with God.....is that one day they will have to answer to Him. And they know intuitively He is a righteous judge.

One question I have is, "Do angels have freewill to choose, as humans do?"
There is no scripture to say they do.
Alright, in so many words, your current response takes us back to my first question: "Do angels have freewill to choose, as humans do?"
When we have no scripture to say they do, and no scripture to even show that they were ever created, (even though we know they exist), it is unreasonable then to conclude that negative scriptures about angels are anything more than metaphors.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
A picture or reflection is an image, to be like somebody is reflected in who you are, now knowing evil do you want to be engaged in it, or do you want to focus on the Love of Christ, and do good regardless of the evil you know of.

To love fully, completely, and perfectly in the agape sense, requires one to have the ability to choose to give such love- that is what makes love such a powerful gift.
The words Christian, and Christianity, would not exist. To suggest that a Jewish Rabbi would preach a doctrine foreign to, and offensive to Judaism, would be comparable to suggesting that the pope would willingly start a Protestant religion. It just would not happen.
@@Timzy2Drip From the book ... The Final Inequality, by L. J. Ludovici. "Morals at any given moment have always been as good, or as bad, as our imaginations credit them, for the morals (from the Latin, mores: customs) means simply customs, and they keep changing all the time in all the corners of the world."
Umm...
Satan and angels are mythology. Because Heaven and Hell is mythology, nobody needs to be saved. It's all fiction.
@@muppetonmeds I don't think that you have anything from the Scriptures to back up that theory
Love how he didn’t answer the question
I agree with you here is my answer hope it helps
Lucifer was never in heaven when he sin, he was god on earth he had a kingdom on EARTH in THE GARDEN OF EDEN and he had kingdoms, kings and nations under him, angels has the right to move around in heaven and around the stars and on earth if they want to, have a free will, Lucifer could visit heaven at times, he had musical instruments build into his body, and he would play the music to God in heaven that he received from the nations on earth, he was also in contact with the angels in heaven,
there was war Lucifer and his angels made was with Michael and his angels, and Lucifer lost he was cast out of heaven onto the earth as satan, this happened before Adam and the woman, the angels that was cast out was bound in everlasting chains in darkness inside earth until the day of judgement, the angels that left heaven to marry woman on earth was also cast down into darkness everlasting chains until the day of judgement, so please do not tell me fallen angels became evil spirits or demons, the writings in Revelation is an account of what happened to satan when he made war with Michael and his angels, this refers to the time of Lucifers fall from heaven and became satan, BEFORE Adam and the woman,

but the speaker did not answer the question. if heaven has the same conditions as it did when satan sinned, how can anyone be certain that the history won't repeat itself?
Ok, so where Did Satan/Devil before he fell from grace got the desire to sin, rebel against his creator God? There must be a logical and spiritual reason. Was there an external force influence him? I wonder.
The answer is in the al-Qur'an.
He didn't rebel. He did what he was created to do. He never fell.
