For projectors that have a hard time waiting for the invitation.. Stop waiting and start living. Go exercise do something artistic, travel, master a skill, read, self develop. Just by default you will attract invitations left to right. GET SLEEP and treat your body like a temple.
If I'm at a parents meeting and they want to change somethin, as a Projector with a cross "left angle cross of distraction 60/56 28/27, I would really struggle withnwaiting for an invitation if for example the parents were all for cake on every birthday. I probably would raise my hand and set my foot down immidietly.. So I'm really confused as to what would be the best thing to do in a situation like that?
Wow, I just recently found out I’m a projector and it’s a total paradigm shift. I am one of the most proactive people I know. I make huge, life-changing, action-oriented decisions on a regular basis e.g. career changes, industry changes, moving across the country, asking people for what I want from them bluntly… no wonder I feel so ‘off’. I’ve been misaligned with my human design my entire life. I’ve lived by the mantra “make it happen myself, don’t wait around for someone to hand it to me” That’s the wrong mantra! I feel a bit of relief knowing I can let go a bit and relax
I'm new at the projector gig but here are two things that work for me. 1)Fish for that invitation. When there is something that you want to "teach" another - reach out, offer the one-sentence version and tell them to get back to you if they are interested. 2)It's good to know when to stop. (And much harder to live by.) Before you tell someone X you have to make sure they are ready to receive it - that's what getting their invitation is all about. Otherwise you essentially force yourself upon them.
@@karenmcmullen Well I'm gonna have to say 6/3 most likely mental - projector. I calculated two estimations for my TS bg and Richard Mason released his cosmic HD the other day. The best bg is the one I made myself by subtracting 8 lines from every planet from my plain sidereal bg(generated with genetic matrix.) CHD got close, but addad one line to about a third of every planet. The biggest difference is that CHD gave me a 1/3 profile, but I simply resonate with the 6/3 profile which is what I got with my homemade bg. But yes, my ordinary bg says 5/1 emo manifestor. However I do not recognize it, I recognize the 6/3 no authority projector. This upsets some HD practitioners and enthusiasts. That is not my intention, but I must say that I support true sidereal hd. I suspected the bg was off from the start while everything else HD has continued to prove itself. There is no accurate TS HD calculator out there yet but CHD gets close - someone else got the very same results between subtracting 8 lines and generating a chart with CHD.
@@karenmcmullen Sorry about that. Ts = true sidereal. Bg = bodygraph. CHD = Cosmic human design. And hd = human design. In short CHD is an attempt to bring ts to human design. I suspect that it's 1 line off on about a third of my planets, when compared to my own efforts to produce a ts bg. I have made 3 ts bg's using the method to first generate a standard sidereal bg through the genetic matrix website, and then subtracting 8 lines from every planet with promising results. One of us had the exact same results using CHD while two of us had slightly different bg's. I favor this method, there is no telling if it's 100% right but it gets close and CHD gives a good pointer at the very least.
all I can say is that I urge you to just write the full words. It's too hard for me to read this style of writing. also, I don't know about true sidereal or cosmic human design. But if you do want to be understood, communicating in a way that others can more easily receive it will probably benefit you...especially if you have quite a bit of individual circuitry. Great video! I am a manifestor and have very close friends who are projectors! I find that for myself as a manifestor, I really value projectors waiting for me to invite and initiate things even as small as when we hang out! I feel strongly that the more my projector friends practice self-restraint in a way of being like a hermit or high priestess - waiting and being ready to speak and advice, this makes them so much more appealing, attractive, desirable etc. Anytime a projector friend of mine (keep in mind I am a manifestor so I like to be free and don't want anything in my way, including anyone else's plans or direction) gives me advice or even just invites me to hang out, I feel a strange feeling that makes me not want to hang out with them! I imagine it is one of the hardest strategies, especially considering how well projectors see reality. Full of ideas and brilliant plans, but paradoxically must wait for invitations. Again, I know people generally say that strategy applies to the big things, but I think it also applies to the small things in many interpersonal situations. May this insight find you well. I agree with you that it does have a strange feeling...just today I was invited to follow a projector's instagram and to look at their website and it felt slightly off-putting. The exception for me is if I have invited a projector into a relationship of some kind...such as a coach or a therapist...or even a client...then it seems more free that they interact according to that container. I think HD only works as our role and purpose in the world. It's as if saying projectors dont need to improve other basic qualities of being a human being. A human design enthusiasts is in for a rude awakening 😂
Wish I knew this sooner, all that bitterness from people rejecting my very caring insights made me unwilling to do anything at all, I'm just so offended and need to heal 😭😪😔
maybe remember that even though you feel your were providing caring insights, it is penetrating...so it is actually unpleasant to receive unless invited. The analogy of giving surgery without permission is important to remember...so even though you had good intentions, you may have been quite irritating to others...which is why they responded the way they did.

Can you share a little more about this??? Is it taking a guess at to what someone else's boundaries could be and acting in turn. I usually give people TOO much space out of fear of being too much... but then they leave me out. So .. I need to figure out what's natural.
@@nocando89 it’s a person to person thing! with being a projector we have to know the type of info to give out. sometimes we have waaay too much info to give out and if someone isn’t interested in hearing it they will think you’re projecting those feelings onto them. some people can take in that info, others can’t. if you give some info to someone and they seem to be interested you can always ask and see if they’d like even more of a deep dive into whatever the topic is. (for example at work i suggested an idea to my boss to make the flow of items go easier, but i knew at that moment that was all i could suggest because she’s stressed due to new company tech stuff. if i tried to keep pushing my ideas she’d shut me out, not bc they’re not good ideas, but because she’s too stressed to add anything else to the store flow rn.) it’s trial and error at first but you get into a good flow since we’re good communicators!
I just learned I’m a projector and that my husband is a generator. We are extremely compatible and balance each other out. We’re like an extension of one another and make a great team! Didn’t really understand why until you shared this. Going to dig deeper into understanding this.
I watched your video because my daughter is a projector and want to be able to understand certain things, and it makes sense now. My bf and I are both generators (well I am a manifesting one and he is not) but it makes sense now as well because I had this feeling from her birth till now and how she is growing, that we will learn a lot from her. Thanks for your content! I am a sacral gen; however I am surrounded by projectors. My husband and mom are both splenic projectors, 2 of our 3 children are mental projectors, my late father in law was an emotional projector. It is INTENSE to say the least being close to that many🙂 but I am so thankful for the many insights I’ve received from all of them!

Love this! I'm just finding out about Human Design Types and as a Projector who has been REALLY bitter and frustrated lately, this is helping me see why. I work in healthcare and directly with patients: educating and guiding - and it's hard because it seems like the invitation there is closing but I love that line of work and what I do. So, I keep going in and trying my best and doing what usually made me shine but it isn't being well received anymore lol!!! You are also so amazing at conveying this information. @@karenmcmullen Hello Karen, Yes, I just watched your video on the 6 profile, great again! I’ve been involved in many metaphysical studies over the past 55yrs., as I am now 73. Played with HD for about 13yrs. Now, and would like to add something, that may be interesting, since you are an instructor. Around the age of 50, I actually named my 3rd story recording studio, “The Observatory”, which may be counterintuitive, based on the 6th line “stages”. By age 60, I went more so into the early martyr stage, in many ways, and not until I reached 70, have I since experienced more of the self aware role model. So at this age of 73, what I’m experiencing is a return to the roof, but more self reliant, as I come down off the roof, mostly only when invited, except this time I have been “observing” myself as well. So, my deduction, given the HD analysis, is that perhaps there is a 4th stage, that aggregates the previous 3, but with more peaceful acceptance. Hope this makes some sense. Maybe there is even more, due to the coming Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix activating us Projectors. Just trying to make sense of it all.😊 Thanks again for your service!!!

Hi, Karen, I have really been enjoying your Human Design videos! I've been an astrologer for 30+ years, lifelong Empath & clairsentient, an ecologist, interdisciplinary writer, poet, etc., and a teacher (of various subjects, especially writing), and yet I'm new to H.D. What I don't understand: In Human Design, I'm a Manifestor. In the Gene Key system, I'm a Projector Aura type. How can I be both? Your Manifestor videos make a LOT of sense to me but so do your Projector videos. As a little kid, I was immediately recognized for my gifts, and set apart from other kids, but struggled in the traditional classroom. Everything I've read about Manifestors describe me. Yet the Projector aura type info also resonates; I am often sought out to spearhead/facilitate/lead groups, and I "come alive" as a teacher. I love to help others shine. One of your entrepreneurial women talked about being a Manifestor Empath. Is this a type that works like a combo Manifestor-Projector?
I don't understand how you can be a projector type in Gene Keys. That doesn't make any sense to me. I wonder where you got this information. I haven't seen the Gene Keys presenting type information and if they did, I see no reason why it would be different than HD since it was an offshoot of HD. If projectors are so open and with an absorbing aura, it would make sense we are easily injured emotionally or spiritually but the plus side is once we recover from our injuries we should have no trouble muscle testing and remote viewing or related things. Do i understand that right?
Hi Alan, there is a lot of nuance between projector charts. There are many variations and each person/chart is totally unique. The meaning that you are adding to this is not accurate in my view. You yourself might have that journey and those gifts, but we couldn't say the same for all projectors.

I’ve just recently learned I am a projector. I’ve been exhausted for months and just keep pushing. I keep hoping to figure some way to work that isn’t killing me but can’t figure out what I would even do. Life in a fog does that to you.. I can think of a million things I like but to try to think of a way to make a living out of any of it…to call any of them passions?? so tired 🥱 😵💫

Very enlightening! I recognise myself in it en how my career developped. I’m pensioned now, but i still going strong. Even my energy came back in recognizing this stuff. hearing your words Made it much easier to accept my HD as projector: when my friend did the analysis and I read it on paper it felt true but also made me realize this is a Cornerstone issue for my Relationships/ personality. Very hard to accept and bitterness is tough pill to absorb! How do you recommend we groom/tame our intuitive nature. Sometimes I find its my delivery too.

Thank you for a great video :) I am a projector and I am learning this year about the power of waiting. One thing I find a bit difficult to understand is this thing about serving generators. Do you mean as a career or in relationships as well? I don't really want to have to help or serve people I am close with. Often people close to me(generators) want my help and they see me as a healer, but it doesn't really give me anything to be in that role, it is depleting my energy. It is not what I want to be recognized for. I find it easier to be around other projectors to be honest ;)
What comes to me to say is : until you claim your gift, your gift is a problem. Yes I mean in all relationships and in career. The projector has a natural focus on the other. I understand about not wanting to help people you are close with. I feel that this is about navigating your boundaries and what feels right for you and yes if it is not what you want to be recognized for and it’s depleting… that is not a good invitation.
@@karenmcmullen That makes sense, thank you. For me I have been focusing too much on others my whole life. It can also be a survival mechanism. But maybe it turns into something different after healing has taken place. I think that projectors also help people sometimes as a biproduct of just being themselves. Without trying to help them spesifically. I am focusing on myself now for a while, but if others can become inspired by what I have to share then that is a good thing. I really like your platform and what you are sharing btw:)
I started learning HD a while ago and this is the most insightful video on projectors and what being a projector means that I have seen so far. I am today years old to find out I am a projector 6/2. I have been searching for answers as to why and how I am in-tuned to my environment and the people around me. I can hear a voice or sometimes i feel like information is constantly being downloaded into me. I have no clue how I know certain things about people and what next to happen in this world. I have had this gift since i was five. I would call out the weather and tell my mom to bring her umbrella on sunny days boom later on it would rain. I can speak life into the dead. Not actually bring the dead back to life but a person who is at their lowest point and make them whole again. But I also am able to manifest certain things that I want or need. I think i can hear other’s people thoughts almost like i tune in on their frequency and I can pick up random thoughts that i know are not mine. I Have been called a prophet at times. I came here looking for answers after downloading the Human design app. I love being by myself at times but only when i can feel energy its almost like recharging my battery.

@@karenmcmullen At the time I was thinking about the dictionary so that I could freshen up my vocabulary knowledge. I haven't read in one since grade school. Now the really cool thing is a couple of months ago a friend and I were driving to a place and there were some boxes and furniture that were placed by the roadside and in two of the boxes was a complete Encyclopedia set with a two book dictionary. 🥰 I also have a few other things that were by manifestation from thought of things I would enjoy having the presence of within my sphere of this life experience. I have come to consider it as practice for manifesting.

😅 I always warn before I give a deep thought or advice. I tend to be transparent and honest. Maybe blunt. But most people will accept it. They listen. But it’s their choice to take it and go. Many friends growing up would always want to hear what I’d say. But as an adult it’s hard not gonna lie. I’m a manager and those under me tend to take me wrong. But then they later realize what I’m saying and doing is for the bigger picture.
Hmmmm...It sounds like on the whole you are quite respectful to others, which goes a long way. I feel for projectors there is always room for fine-tuning and mastering the penetrating and absorbing aura. I'm about to put out some amazing new videos on the projector so stay tuned.

all I can say is that I urge you to just write the full words. It's too hard for me to read this style of writing. also, I don't know about true sidereal or cosmic human design. But if you do want to be understood, communicating in a way that others can more easily receive it will probably benefit you...especially if you have quite a bit of individual circuitry. Great video! I am a manifestor and have very close friends who are projectors! I find that for myself as a manifestor, I really value projectors waiting for me to invite and initiate things even as small as when we hang out! I feel strongly that the more my projector friends practice self-restraint in a way of being like a hermit or high priestess - waiting and being ready to speak and advice, this makes them so much more appealing, attractive, desirable etc.
Anytime a projector friend of mine (keep in mind I am a manifestor so I like to be free and don't want anything in my way, including anyone else's plans or direction) gives me advice or even just invites me to hang out, I feel a strange feeling that makes me not want to hang out with them! I imagine it is one of the hardest strategies, especially considering how well projectors see reality. Full of ideas and brilliant plans, but paradoxically must wait for invitations. Again, I know people generally say that strategy applies to the big things, but I think it also applies to the small things in many interpersonal situations. May this insight find you well. I agree with you that it does have a strange feeling...just today I was invited to follow a projector's instagram and to look at their website and it felt slightly off-putting. The exception for me is if I have invited a projector into a relationship of some kind...such as a coach or a therapist...or even a client...then it seems more free that they interact according to that container. I think HD only works as our role and purpose in the world. It's as if saying projectors dont need to improve other basic qualities of being a human being. A human design enthusiasts is in for a rude awakening 😂

maybe remember that even though you feel your were providing caring insights, it is penetrating...so it is actually unpleasant to receive unless invited. The analogy of giving surgery without permission is important to remember...so even though you had good intentions, you may have been quite irritating to others...which is why they responded the way they did.

@@nocando89 it’s a person to person thing! with being a projector we have to know the type of info to give out. sometimes we have waaay too much info to give out and if someone isn’t interested in hearing it they will think you’re projecting those feelings onto them. some people can take in that info, others can’t. if you give some info to someone and they seem to be interested you can always ask and see if they’d like even more of a deep dive into whatever the topic is. (for example at work i suggested an idea to my boss to make the flow of items go easier, but i knew at that moment that was all i could suggest because she’s stressed due to new company tech stuff. if i tried to keep pushing my ideas she’d shut me out, not bc they’re not good ideas, but because she’s too stressed to add anything else to the store flow rn.) it’s trial and error at first but you get into a good flow since we’re good communicators!
It all makes so much sense now. I always wondered how I was so different in seeing things that many others couldn’t! Thank you for this information

Love this! I'm just finding out about Human Design Types and as a Projector who has been REALLY bitter and frustrated lately, this is helping me see why. I work in healthcare and directly with patients: educating and guiding - and it's hard because it seems like the invitation there is closing but I love that line of work and what I do. @@karenmcmullen Hello Karen, Yes, I just watched your video on the 6 profile, great again! I’ve been involved in many metaphysical studies over the past 55yrs., as I am now 73. Played with HD for about 13yrs. Now, and would like to add something, that may be interesting, since you are an instructor. Around the age of 50, I actually named my 3rd story recording studio, “The Observatory”, which may be counterintuitive, based on the 6th line “stages”. By age 60, I went more so into the early martyr stage, in many ways, and not until I reached 70, have I since experienced more of the self aware role model. So at this age of 73, what I’m experiencing is a return to the roof, but more self reliant, as I come down off the roof, mostly only when invited, except this time I have been “observing” myself as well. So, my deduction, given the HD analysis, is that perhaps there is a 4th stage, that aggregates the previous 3, but with more peaceful acceptance. Hope this makes some sense. Maybe there is even more, due to the coming Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix activating us Projectors. Just trying to make sense of it all.😊 Thanks again for your service!!!

Hi, Karen, I have really been enjoying your Human Design videos! I've been an astrologer for 30+ years, lifelong Empath & clairsentient, an ecologist, interdisciplinary writer, poet, etc., and a teacher (of various subjects, especially writing), and yet I'm new to H.D. What I don't understand: In Human Design, I'm a Manifestor. In the Gene Key system, I'm a Projector Aura type. How can I be both? Your Manifestor videos make a LOT of sense to me but so do your Projector videos. As a little kid, I was immediately recognized for my gifts, and set apart from other kids, but struggled in the traditional classroom. Everything I've read about Manifestors describe me. Yet the Projector aura type info also resonates; I am often sought out to spearhead/facilitate/lead groups, and I "come alive" as a teacher. I love to help others shine. One of your entrepreneurial women talked about being a Manifestor Empath. Is this a type that works like a combo Manifestor-Projector?
I don't understand how you can be a projector type in Gene Keys. That doesn't make any sense to me. I wonder where you got this information. I haven't seen the Gene Keys presenting type information and if they did, I see no reason why it would be different than HD since it was an offshoot of HD. If projectors are so open and with an absorbing aura, it would make sense we are easily injured emotionally or spiritually but the plus side is once we recover from our injuries we should have no trouble muscle testing and remote viewing or related things. Do i understand that right?
Hi Alan, there is a lot of nuance between projector charts. There are many variations and each person/chart is totally unique. The meaning that you are adding to this is not accurate in my view. You yourself might have that journey and those gifts, but we couldn't say the same for all projectors.

I keep hoping to figure some way to work that isn’t killing me but can’t figure out what I would even do. Life in a fog does that to you.. hearing your words Made it much easier to accept my HD as projector: when my friend did the analysis and I read it on paper it felt true but also made me realize this is a Cornerstone issue for my Relationships/ personality. Very hard to accept and bitterness is tough pill to absorb! How do you recommend we groom/tame our intuitive nature. Sometimes I find its my delivery too.

Thank you for a great video :) I am a projector and I am learning this year about the power of waiting. One thing I find a bit difficult to understand is this thing about serving generators. Do you mean as a career or in relationships as well? I don't really want to have to help or serve people I am close with. Often people close to me(generators) want my help and they see me as a healer, but it doesn't really give me anything to be in that role, it is depleting my energy. It is not what I want to be recognized for. I find it easier to be around other projectors to be honest ;)
What comes to me to say is : until you claim your gift, your gift is a problem.
Yes I mean in all relationships and in career.
The projector has a natural focus on the other.
I understand about not wanting to help people you are close with. I feel that this is about navigating your boundaries and what feels right for you and yes if it is not what you want to be recognized for and it’s depleting… that is not a good invitation.
@@karenmcmullen That makes sense, thank you. For me I have been focusing too much on others my whole life. It can also be a survival mechanism. But maybe it turns into something different after healing has taken place. I think that projectors also help people sometimes as a biproduct of just being themselves. Without trying to help them spesifically. I am focusing on myself now for a while, but if others can become inspired by what I have to share then that is a good thing. I really like your platform and what you are sharing btw:)

I am today years old to find out I am a projector 6/2. I have been searching for answers as to why and how I am in-tuned to my environment and the people around me. I can hear a voice or sometimes i feel like information is constantly being downloaded into me. I have no clue how I know certain things about people and what next to happen in this world. I have had this gift since i was five. I would call out the weather and tell my mom to bring her umbrella on sunny days boom later on it would rain. I can speak life into the dead. Not actually bring the dead back to life but a person who is at their lowest point and make them whole again. But I also am able to manifest certain things that I want or need. I think i can hear other’s people thoughts almost like i tune in on their frequency and I can pick up random thoughts that i know are not mine. I Have been called a prophet at times. I came here looking for answers after downloading the Human design app. I love being by myself at times but only when i can feel energy its almost like recharging my battery.

@@karenmcmullen At the time I was thinking about the dictionary so that I could freshen up my vocabulary knowledge. I haven't read in one since grade school. Now the really cool thing is a couple of months ago a friend and I were driving to a place and there were some boxes and furniture that were placed by the roadside and in two of the boxes was a complete Encyclopedia set with a two book dictionary. 🥰 I also have a few other things that were by manifestation from thought of things I would enjoy having the presence of within my sphere of this life experience. I have come to consider it as practice for manifesting.

😅 I always warn before I give a deep thought or advice. I tend to be transparent and honest. Maybe blunt. But most people will accept it. They listen. But it’s their choice to take it and go. Many friends growing up would always want to hear what I’d say. But as an adult it’s hard not gonna lie. I’m a manager and those under me tend to take me wrong. But then they later realize what I’m saying and doing is for the bigger picture.
Hmmmm...It sounds like on the whole you are quite respectful to others, which goes a long way. I feel for projectors there is always room for fine-tuning and mastering the penetrating and absorbing aura. I'm about to put out some amazing new videos on the projector so stay tuned.
Hahahha this me to a T. Cause I've had to hold back a lot when people do not notice certain things about situations or themselves becuasevI felt theyvare not ready to hear. The saying that goes, you can lead a horse tobwater but you can't make it drink has rung so true in my life for the last few years.
