- Here's my first new model that I actually built this summer, as Peter Sam was a holdover from Christmas break! I got lots of fun shots that meshed well with the music, so I hope you enjoy!

"There are two ways of doing things, the great Western way or the wrong way" this is most certainly the great Western way.
Don’t we know it!?
You stole my line!!!!!
It’s the Thomas way
if lego gets the thomas license back, im definitely voting for this man to be hired to make the thomas sets.
I can’t wait for Donald and Douglas
Me too!
Same they like my third and second favorites
I can wait.
I just don’t want to.
I hope their in blue.
@@gavindiuguid3197 they probably will be
Can't wait for Donald and Douglas
Whenever he DOES build them I’ll just bet he’ll make them blue just like in the RWS!
Quack quack quack! Look everybody, its a Lego Duck.
Okay jokes aside. That LEGO Duck looks fantastic!
Thanks, glad you like it!
I hope Diesel's next in line. Can't have Duck without his arch enemy.
Love the new video style, really feels like a seamless experience.
And at last the Eight Famous Engines are reunited!
Thanks, I was happy with how the video flowed! And I'm glad to have engines 1-8 built as well!
Outstanding. Outstanding! OUTSTANDING!!!!! I Can’t believe how many Lego models you’ve made so fast!!! I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE WHAT MODELS ARE NEXT!!!
Thank you! I think I've been on a decent pace to cover a lot of the characters without rushing or burning out :)
@@WoodenToby You have indeed!!
Outstanding work wooden toby, you do so great on these models. Can’t wait to see Donald Douglas and Oliver and towed
You mean, “Toad” right?
@@conductorcarson yes I meant to say Toad 🐸
Thank you!
Fantastic model! And I actually really like the disk you used for your models funnels, very subtle but soo defining, keep up the great work and can't wait to see who's next!!
Thank you! New parts like that tea saucer offer nice opportunities to slightly upgrade the models from time to time.
@@WoodenToby indeed!
Very nice. There are two ways of doing things: the Great Western Way or the wrong way.
Duck looks fantastic! Being my favorite character I think you've done very well!
Thank you!
You have done an excellent on creating Duck in Lego. It looks amazing.
Now let's give Duck his nemesis Devious Diesel.
Love that Lego duck style man
MY FAVORITE CHARACTER!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉!!!!
My favourite engine
These Lego Thomas trains are awesome I'm gonna need to build these myself
He Looks GREAT!
8 Down 3 more to go
Donald 💙
Douglas 💙
Oilver 💚
Duck is a favourite of mine.
Duck looks wonderful! I honestly thought it was oliver and toad for some reason when I saw the picture of the lego pieces! Still amazing build :D
Glad you enjoyed! The green pieces were bound to be a Little Western engine, so I can see how Oliver came to mind :)
I don’t mean to say this but Duck & his fellow Great Western Engine, Oliver have 2 Great Western Auto coaches.
I think he knows that but building these designs are time consuming and legos aren’t cheep anymore
Yeah, I generally try to avoid building too many identical duplicates of the same models. Like I said in the video, I felt one generic model that could represent any of the four autocoaches was sufficient for now.
Duck is all tip-top and Swindon-fashion, that’s what l’ll say. Also love your new video format.
Thanks! :)
I absolutely love this Duck model! truly an amazing model.
Glad you like it!
I can't wait to see you debut more LEGO chatacters. I hope to have something like these one day!
Duck: "there are two ways of doing things, the great western way or the wrong way. You my friend have done things the great western way".
And don’t we know it?
"We've broken away, we've broken away! Chase him! Bump him! Throw him off the rails!"
Brilliant models! Love the new format review format too, you never cease to amaze! 💚
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Wooooah he looks amazing dude! I love the model and the video format too. I do imagine it’s not the easiest engine shape to get down but my god you did it.
My boy, my boy is here
OMG WHY I LOVE YOUR VIDOS NEVER STOP and my birthday is in 4 days
I've been waiting for you like for a whole years of whole months
Very well done!! Can’t wait to see your new models
Thanks, I'm looking forward to revealing the next batch as well :)
Very nice builds!
Amazing video keep up the good work and remember don't have a good day have a great day
OMG, love it!!!
Wow!
Yes! Been waiting for this one :D
Duck: It not the Great Western way
Gordon: *after hearing that too many time* that's it to the ditch I go
Edit: if it's Donald and Douglas I'd be very happy because those two where my favorite twin engines
I cannot wait for Donald and Douglas
I’ll bet he’ll make them blue, just like the RWS!
amazing
Duck in the water
I can't wait for diesel and mavis
The Famous 8 is complete
Nice Job
Scottish Twins are coming soon. They have to be as they're both the same engine. Unless it's Oliver due to the auto coach that was made.
Quack quack
Nice models
YEAAAAAHHHHH
What about Oliver & Toad, they're also great western too?
We all know what this means right? It's only a matter of time before Oliver comes along.
Can you make an RWS style Donald and Douglas
It’s the great western way
...I request Oliver he is my fav character
You should make Whiff (Unbiased)
Duck looks cool can you make Oliver and toad
🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
I have a question @WoodenToby could you make a Lego diesel 10.
Can you make a layout and put all you trains and trains cars on it?
Could you try to make old slow coach for a change
4:42 Who's hazard stripes are those... Mavis?
😱 OMG!! You could be right! Maybe he put that there on purpose to give us a hint of who’s next! 😃😃😃 And I’ll bet she’ll have the pink quarry trucks with her! He told me he might make the quarry trucks whenever he’d make Mavis!😁😁😁
Sharp eye!
Is the dome fake?
You aren't WoodenToby, your PlasticToby.
Can you do Donald and Douglas next, please
DEVIOUS DIESEL NEXT!!!!!!!!!
By the way, Duck’s two rear wheels are further apart than his forward four wheels…
Yeah, I adjusted the wheel spacing a bit to get the best overall look when translating the design into Lego. Obviously the position of the wheels also affects how I space things above the running board.
Woodentoby I have a little bit of a idea build a 8f class in dark blue with gold lining 4-8-0 with a 8 axle tender? U can do it at anytime..
I dare you make Culdee and breakdown crane and also don’t forget crossing gates there didn’t in rebrickable
And plus you made 5741 number for duck I wonder you make number 8
Plz make Lady using 3D printed Medium small wheels.
What about Oliver the escape engine and toad the gwr breakvan
Montigume moment
4:40 whats that behind the breakvan
Can you please Do a Lego Duncan?
If you built duck so the next one must be Oliver
Or diesel
@@Che3zyGaming he said models
How about you do some obscure characters?
Question for wooden Toby can we combine the einges because I have a plan to combine Edward James and Gordon
Sorry, not sure what you mean
My only qualm is that duck and the panniers in general were very long, its a great model just a little squat
Fair enough! The main goal was to scale well with my existing models, and he is longer than my Thomas.
Are you planning on making the rest of the auto coaches as well as Oliver and toad and the rest of the narrow gauge coaches?
I might add more coaches in the future. I generally try to prioritize building new models over duplicates of previous designs.
@@WoodenToby I’m not trying to rush you I’m just saying it would be nice
Erm first of all I saw a sneak peak of a particular type of locomotive. Second when you make Oliver and toad are you making a second auto coach that way you can easily represent both duck and Oliver’s coaches. Third do you plan on adding more troublesome trucks and maybe another utility van.
Perhaps I'll add another autocoach in the future. I try to avoid too many identical duplicates of the same models, but I'm sure I'll build modifications of my existing rolling stock as they correspond to new characters.
@@WoodenToby ok
I like your lego thomas and friends moc of duck i Want to make mi own model of duck tow
I want Oliver
oh dear
Duck
Please can you do Donald and Douglas next Douglas is my favourite character
Can someone link the music used in the beginning of the video?
soundcloud.com/thenwturntable2002/ducks-theme-freelance
4:38 is that a diesel I see 🤨
thomas no news 😢😢😢
Wich auto coach is this one 2:08 suppose to be?
Alice, Maribel, Dulsie, or Isabel.
I’m just gonna say it’s Alice.
Like I said in the video, I figured the model could represent any of the autocoaches, as they're all identical anyway. So take your pick!
Duck is my favorite character! Also, how did you get the music?
All the music was publicly available from Thomas musicians on UA-cam or SoundCloud
@@WoodenToby Yeah but how did you adjust it to this perfect tone?!
Aren't you going to do duck's number 8?
I don't plan to. That's a TV series feature, and I've been designing my Lego models after the Railway Series books.
So you will only do railway series characters?
Donnie and Douggie
make rws boco
Can you make Emily
Duck is not numbered 8😭
Yeah, I always preferred his number eight over his four digit number. But he’s awesome all the same!
I went for the Railway Series look as I usually do :)
Ducks wheels are inaccurate
His 2 back wheels should be slightly further back then the others
Yeah, even though it isn't totally accurate I felt the wheel spacing I used gave the overall model its best look. Obviously the position of the wheels also affects how I space things above the running board.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, Great Western!
What happened with the part where you explained how you built the model? The showcase was always the most boring part for me. I like to see exactly or at least parts of the process of building the model.
To be honest, I'd say my Lego videos have always focused more on the finished product than the build process. Larry's Lego usually focuses more on that aspect in his Lego videos if that's something you enjoy. I suppose I generally do cover how the model changed over the course of the digital design phase, but there wasn't much to talk about there with Duck, as I remember his design came together quickly in just about a day.
0/10 No cheekbones
Admittedly a shortcoming of the simplified face designs I use!
