Julian, you, Kayla and Willow have spoiled me. I have tried watching some of the other "picker" videos, but rarely do I watch them to the end. I am Canadian, and we just do not have the volume of "stuff" (although not me personally - bit of a reformed hoarder) to do this full-time in Canada, but I love watching how polite and knowledgeable you are about golf clubs, hand tools, hats and technology. I have become a Thrift-Machine addict! By the way, I was a field archaeologist as well. No dinosaurs, but a couple of ancient mummy fragments and A LOT of pottery. Cheers from Ottawa Ontario Canada!

Those 'gel' things go on ur eyes. U put them in the refrigerator or freezer then on ur eyes. Great for relief of headaches or perhaps sinus problems.

Great items, I went sourcing with my son at the church thrift store today and they are raising their prices. Sneakers and shoes are still $3 a pair so I guess that is good. Thanks for sharing.
In CT, I spend waaaay too much money at our Saver's and our Goodwill's! I don't think I have ever not gotten a full cart full of items I found at either thrift store! Love watching you guys thrifting. When I bought & sold, I remember January as being slow in the thrift stores. And I’ve always wondered why. I agree with your thought that people should be cleaning out old stuff after getting new stuff for Christmas. But you got some good finds!

Could you link your suede and leather cleaner? I currently won't pickup suede because it's impossible to clean!
I use kiwi suede cleaner with that little brush - it's 75% works sometimes 25% doesn't work

Sometimes - but usually not
The ceramic piece looks like it's just a night light. Avon used to make them. Many other brands as well, but don't seem to sell for much on eBay from what I have seen.

i totally messed up on that edit, i use 2 - Chemical guys leather cleaner and conditioner, or Dr Marten leather balm (sorry about that)

That tens unit is for pain treatment. It’s something that is usually given out in physical therapy. I’m surprised they are actually selling that at goodwill!

I agree. I had one for my back after having 4 surgeries. Mine was prescribed by my doctor but maybe some are not. It was super expensive back in the early 2000's.

I got one for back pain in the early 2000’s about $250. Can get a better one on Amazon today for less than $25. I was surprised they can be bought w/o a script.
Good show & content but be more realistic about the resell prices. Old routers sell any day at yard sales for 10 to 15 bucks,and yes you see garlic roasters sold for high price but rarely
The routers sold $15 each - $45 for all - what did I say - that was $45 plus shipping.

Not sure if someone mentioned this, but the hair curler was sold at Dollar Tree in December. I picked a few up thinking I’d sell them (couldn’t run comps because I didn’t have internet service in store) and found the same thing you did - there are a ton on eBay.

Found a pair of Footjoy golf shoes the other day, couldn’t find them using the app but when I went through terapeak they sell for $100-$120 when they’re on the market! Lucky find

yea it was a rough day - i was pretty happy with the Tree Topper though =)
My record is 13 days of thrifting and not finding nothing , until I noticed I always missed the new carts of merchandise coming out, the next day timed it perfect and had a 1500 score .it's all about timing when sourcing in goodwills and if your local goodwill ain't paying off look for goodwills in near by high end suburbs ,I'm in chicago and sometimes drive 1 hr away to high end suburbs goodwills that always pay off , I make a day of it and go to 6 different locations 8 out of 10 times my trunk gets fulled. Good Luck and keep learning different items to look for 👍 the more knowledge on what sells, the better chances of finding stuff.
@@juantovar4287 yes, I am in a rural area and have to drive 2 hours to get to a larger town where there are 2 Goodwills & a Savers, which hasn’t been easy to do this Winter. We have a SA & 2 other small thrift stores in my town. Rarely see any high end items, and one of the stores looks items up on eBay and prices those at retail. Hard to buy at that price. I just keep trying and hope I’m at the stores at the right time to find good deals. 🙂
Sandy U , that's rough to find good inventory like that and where the price is ebay prices 😅 that's a resellers nightmare but maybe a good option for you could be storage unit auctions , I made the transition from thrifting to buying abandoned storage units online and best decision ever!! been super lucky and one of my best units came from a rural area , it was loaded with 1940s thru 1980s books magazines and boardgames I'm still listing & selling on ebay. One room like that and you'll go to your thrifts just to donate the low dollar items 😁
@@juantovar4287 not much for abandoned units here either but I do look at local online auctions and have been able to get a few bargains. I also go to yard sales when summer comes and also look on our local online rummage sites and FB Marketplace. I really need to “shop my house” first but the thrill of the hunt is so fun! Lol

I will say, I don’t pick up the tens units. A few yard back I had several taken down. So even if I should have been able to sell it (no prescription required) it isn’t worth the risk to me.
