I try to stay down-to-earth but, you know. It's hard. My friends and family keep calling me, asking for a dollar here, and a dollar there. Just kidding. Still no friends.
Loving the refreshing style, one man no idea approach, very witty!! Also love the #willtheyreadmyhashtags!! Keep up the great work your nearly ready for Patreon :)
Greetings from Split, Croatia. Just got myself Vespa GTS 300. You’re funny dude. Unfortunately Portland does not seem like most suitable city for Vespa, but you go with what you have. ✌️
Hello! Actually, Portland is a great city for scooters, compared to other US cities. There's a huge bicycle culture here so folks are a bit (and I mean ONLY a BIT) more forgiving of two-wheelers on the road.
I’m enjoying your videos, humor, and the views of Portland. Thank you! It’s all very relatable as I push the envelope on winter riding. Since you love gear, are making so much vlogging, and enjoy the badass forcefield-like invulnerability your jeans give you, consider an airbag jacket. I have two, by Helite. They are worth considering but hard to see firsthand without ordering one. I’m happy to share what I know with you if you’re curious.
@@itsthebugshow saw your video on the ride challenge. Let’s grab a taco and talk air jackets. I’ll reach back out in the new year. Is the email linked to your your youtube channel valid?
Ahh so many cool reasons.....spot on ! The stopping at the gas station because you need the toilet anyway is me 😂 the hot glove idea i had already ....like two pairs and rotate them every half hour on a long ride 😊oven toastie gloves all winter 😅. Great post .. .love it 👍...Harry
With the cooler weather here, even getting back into a (relatively frugal) GTI has been depressing with the frequency of fillups, given a 20-mile each way commute. That was a LOT cheaper (and more fun) on the Vespa. Still decent weather here and there but mostly caging now. :(
I liked the part where you walked into a store with your gear and someone asked you " Ooh what do you ride? A Harley? A Ninja 600?"-" no a Vespa"😅 Ive told people I'm getting a Vespa and they have NO idea wtf that even is,lol.
It happens a lot. The other day I went to CVS and the guy behind the counter got noticeably excited when he saw my helmet. He went on to brag about how he's getting his first bike and how jazzed he was about it, then he asked me what I rode. He then changed the subject.
Scooters are better than cars because you have a scooter channel, not a car channel. Pretty simple in my mind. Glad to see that you're working on the cursing. BTW, I think the manual says that the pet carrier box is only for cats and small dogs, not chicks.
You can rent a uhaul for 30$ and pay about 50cents a mile, fill the gas tank and return it the same day and that could replace the truck and move a piano.
I wasn't in a frat either, but that didn't stop me from doing keg stands as an idiot freshman! Haha. I thought my 23 miles a gallon was low. Your FJ Cruiser has me beat. 😅
I've tried. I even went to the same college he did. Funny story. He once left a message on my answering machine. I had called him for comment on a story I was running in the college paper, and he actually called me back! My brush with fame...
I thought once you reached 500 subscribers, you start raking in the cash? $4.20, hysterical! And you must have a short in your horn. Keeps going off as you’re talking! Chicks in the pet carrier! Bug is a funny guy!
The "get chicks" joke would've been funnier if you walked into a country feed store, cut to you carrying a case of baby chicks. "Chicks love it" and didn't say anything else. That would be funnier than you setting up a joke and immediately pulling the steam out of it by saying the complete opposite or telling us you hated that joke. Let your audience enjoy the punch line.
Ever since you started making REAL money on UA-cam, you've changed, Man!

"one man no idea approach" --- I love that!

Charming and funny. Good to see a fellow Portlander.
Thanks!
My first view of your videos. You are very logical. 😅. I ride a scooter everyday to work. All valid points. Stay the course and ride safe.
You might be the first person ever to call me logical. Thanks!

Yeah I'd love to know more about them. Are you in Portland?
@@itsthebugshow Yes, in Portland. Enjoyed a crisp but dry ride in to work this morning. I just sent you an email, I think.

Yeah but in all honesty, if I had a GTI I think i'd spend a bit more time in the cage. Those things are sweet.
@@itsthebugshow oh i certainly dont complain just observing consumption (especially now that it's uni stage 2) is less beliged than the Vespa. 😘
You remind me of Anthony Bourdain in the best possible way. Acerbic humor for the win! 😂

Modern Vespas have no soul.

Yeah the chicks get grumpy after a few miles stuffed in that thing...

Look for Falco Ranger 2 boots or similar. You will look a badass wearing those and your riding jeans.😁
Oh those look pretty badass!

I ran my college newspaper. It was the only thing that saved me from a four-year-long keg stand.
All true on every point, I love to run errands on my Vespa, as opposed to my Toyota sequoia. It’s a fun watch. Pismo, Paul.
Super funny Bug ! I think you just put Jay Leno out of a job :O

Hahaha, nice video! I have a 99 Yamaha Zuma that I am going to rebuild
Shit, you paid $9000 for that how many CC? I have a 70CC Zuma need to get her running!
I hate holidays so many appointments and it cost a lot of money
U r funny brother
Kudos for the Zevon reference. "How was I to know / He was with the Russians, too? Huh!"
Hey Bug, what mount do you use to hold your phone to show your speed?
It's the Quad Lock system. I don't recommend it for various reasons, though a lot of people really like it.
Why are you obsessed with Bisquick?
It’s all we had during the depression.

Yeah I gotta get that horn checked out. You should see the headlight!
Funny, very funny 😂
I enjoy your videos very much and it keeps me laughing, but you shouldn’t really drink you can get hurt
I only drink Zima.

Unfortunately chicks are out-of-season in these parts.
Hehehehe
