can vouch for most of this as i live near newcastle and have a mum who works for the university. I'm off to lancaster myself but i would recommend newcastle to anyone who want's to party alot.
I feel like private student accom is a lot cheaper tho coz I’m looking at Roman house and it’s 104/week and it’s self catered, ensuite and you share with 6 ppl
I liked the research Newcastle University did. Showing and proving women drivers are better than us/men drivers. We all knew that to be true before. Love your video massive thumbs up subscribe
What’s the most popular Freshers wristband in your opinion? Or does it not matter so much. I have bought one but I feel like everyone else will be at different clubs
Okay so, the one that uni does is normally really good value for money as they do lots of different daytime activities too! I was on the crew for it in my second year and I got to go to an escape room, for food, inflateaspace and more for free along with the freshers! I definitely recommend this one. Some people think it’s a lot of money and won’t get it, but personally I would recommend because there are always events to attend other nights if you want to go with other people!
Cramlington is quite north of newcastle and as far as i know the only commutable route is a bus which takes around 45 minutes (don’t quote me on that) or to drive and park in the centre. unless you lived at home i probably wouldn’t recommend living there as a student!
Thanks! That was very informative even though I'll be coming for only half a year with an exchange programme. PS. Will some places really won't let you in if you're not wearing a dreess and heels? Sounds absolutely wild and lowkey sexist to me. Here in Lithuania a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers are the go-to clubing outfit, don't you want to be comfortable?
I have only just seen this i’m so sorry! As far as i know there are no university owned accommodation that accommodates pets. The best bet with having a pet would be finding a private house where the landlord allows it, it may be more difficult but it’ll be doable :)
@@ChloeElizabethReads Thank you so much for your thoughtful response. Your advice will definitely come in handy for both me and my furry friend in the future!
do lots of people work during their degree? i haven’t worked during sixth form but would want to during uni i think, are there options for flexible part time work?

Can you tell me more about housing/living in Cramlington? Is there good links to the centre of Newcastle etc?

Honestly in most places that’s ok! Just a few more “expensive places” won’t let you!
@@ChloeElizabethReads Good to know, thanks!
Is there any pet-friendly accommodation at Newcastle University? For a student with a small cat.
Same question!
