I mean I have succulents and cacti at home - I don’t water them often and if you forget about them it’s fine. I’m definitely taking them to uni when I start. Honestly for anyone that wants a real plant, these are great as you can forget about them completely and they’ll be fine!
I'm coming to Birmingham in September to study Physiotherapy and this video was a lifesaver!! Thank you so much Anna, keep up the amazing work and congrats on your first year results! x
This is amazing! In my uni though there were no drawers anywhere so those boxes you mentioned were so great to have for me as the shelves were very deep and I would not have been able to reach the stuff at the back without them! Deffo wait until you see what your room actually looks like to buy a lot of things cus its really not that much you need on the first day and maybe you can ask your flatmates to come along!
Thanks so much! No exactly it really depends on what your own uni room is like and its much better waiting. What I did is looked online and worked it out through the 3D room tour but it depends what you can find out before.
Ayyyy I’m going into second year also in September at Exeter. I’m binge watching these reactions/what not to bring and laughing at my past self for making the same mistakes
this vid was super helpful as per :) ! im going to uni in September and was watching ur haul video from last year for some inspo... lets just say I have a few things to return haha x 😳😂
Sissss stop, because I thought the same thing !! Birmingham water is vile 😂😂😂. I lived off bottled water all year. I’m convinced the dutty canal water is filtered through the taps 🤧
@@annarebecca Hopefully!! Thank you for making videos and hope you will keep posting them! They really helped me with knowing more about uob in the pandemic
Thank you so so much! Actually really not alot, I’ve been so surprised how much stuff they have in uni houses already so so far nothing which is amazing!
So so happy it was helpful, I just got them from amazon. Unfortunately they don’t sell the exact ones anymore but these are very similar and still a fab price. www.amazon.co.uk/OxyLED-Curtain-Decorative-Waterproof-Valentine/dp/B07JLJ2ST3/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=Fairy+light+curtain&qid=1628578516&sr=8-12 c
You definitely could, the only thing is I don’t like alllll my stuff in boxes sometimes its quite handy to have some things loose in draws but it really depends on you and how you organise your things!
Hi , I like your videos, they are very helpful. I have a question please , my son wants to take his gaming PC, and I am against , he is justifying his decision, by saying that he will use it for games in case he feels bored. Thanks
So glad their helpful and It's a very tricky one. I do agree it would be nice for him to have if he was bored/ on his own. But equally its so important to get and he doesn't want it to stop him from getting involved with everything at uni. I think as long as he doesn't use it too much it will be fine :)
if you can get someone to water them at home, leave them there! 😂 If not just try your very best to remember to water them my sister is taking hers and she has the cutest watering can from urban outfitters so apparently this is going to help her remember to water them!
@@annarebecca I've remembered to water them at home so far so hopefully I will haha, a couple of them are quite big so worried I won't have room. Thank you for your advice! :)

🤣🤣🤣 honestly I really don’t like it, I think you have to learn to get used to it!
Yeah i will admit, as a person who grew up you really do just get used to it over time
This is actually saving me so much money
I had too many unnecessary things in my cart😭😭
omg i 100% agree with the wardrobe storage thing, i got one because everyone raved abt it and it was the most useless waste of space ever 🤦♀️ lmao
🤣 i was so excited about it and then never ever used it!
These have been really helpful, thank you Anna. Moving in this Sunday and looking forward to it :)

Can I have the link to the laundry bag?
Hello Anna the duvet is from where and which one?
6:10 you may be able to use it to store shoes maybe under the bed?

On the note of plants: just get a cactus, they don't need you and they're super cute.
so cute! I have mine at home but you do still need to water them, not a lot but a little else they die like mine 😭
Did white tac leave marks on your wall or was it okay?
actually completely okay which I was shocked by, but worked so much better than anything else!
