hiya , i am hopefully starting Northumbria uni in September for OT I am an Irish student and don't know anybody else going any recommendations for accommodation?
@@sineadmcphillips319 hey girl, that’s exciting! I stayed in Bryson Court and that’s really sociable and fairly close to the uni. If you want any more recommendations or have any other questions, you’re welcome to dm me on insta - @amy_rclarke xx
Heyyy when I was looking into unis, diversity was one of the things I prioritised. I just wanted to ask is Newcastle diverse in general and is Northumbria diverse as well?
@@naomiadefolaju2989 hi! Newcastle itself is a very diverse city in terms of the people here, and I would say the uni is too. Many students at Northumbria are international students xx
Hey! Great video. ❤️ I am planning to do my masters in northumbria uni this fall. But I am quite anxious about everything. Could you please tell me about the part time job availability in newcastle?is it too difficult to get?
Amy this was such a good video honestly you literally included everything that someone might want to know about the place and the uni!! Also you look stunning, absolutely glowing in this
So interesting to hear about your uni I looked around Loughborough as it's not too far from home and Southsea which I loved more it was just costly to go to! 💖
@@mattiproplays aww I'm really glad you found it helpful!! thank you so much for watching :) from my experience, the wifi is good and I never had issues with it. I'm unsure if there are ethernet cables, sorry!
Hey I’m going this September ☺️ Thanks for the video 🧡 I booked for Camden Court, does anyone know anything about the accommodation and if all the rooms are refurbished? cause obviously I couldn’t visit it because of covid
I hope you have the best time!! thank you so much for watching 🥰I’ve not ever been inside the actual accommodation but there are photos online so you can see what it looks like xx
Hi Amy. What do you think of Northumbria University's MSc in Entrepreneurship...Is it a good option at Northumbria? Which would you rate best between Northumbria, Cardiff metropolitan and LBU?
Hi! Thank you so much for this. I was a bit wary of transferring to Northumbria because I had never been to Newcastle Upon Tyne before. But the video sort of helped my nerves. Hoping to transfer for my final year in Sept 22 cos I come from an International programme that Northumbria has in my country. Would you be knowing any biomedical science students? (cos that's my course haha!)
Dont know if I'll get a reply but how are the teachers in general . I have read alot of negative remarks regarding teachers and instructors on google maps etc.. I am asking as an international student the situation with racism and prejudices
@@muhammadhassan1846 hi, thank you for your comment :) I can’t comment on my experience as I’m not an international student, but I have had friends who have been and they’ve never said anything bad about their experiences with any staff. I’m looking the very Uni for bachelors in electrical and electronics engineering. Could you please tell me how is the uni overall in engineering and the accommodations as an international student. Thanks in advance.
Hi! My boyfriend does engineering and really enjoys it, however I don’t know too much about the department or anything. In my first year, there were quite a few international students in my block and building, so you will definitely find if you stay in student accomodation that there will be other international students there I would think :)
Hey.. Iam quite confused about choosing an accommodation. Could you please refer the best in campus accommodation. And can you please make me contact with any of the engineering students
Hey! I know newcastle central is quite a walk away from the uni campus, in terms of metro stations there’s manors which is a short walk to the campus xxx
Hey! I don’t know of any super close to coach lane campus, however there’s an area called Shieldfield which is probably where the nearest student accoms are to coach lane - the shield is supposed to be really nice and affordable, I stayed in portland green student village in first year and that was good too. You can get a free bus to coach lane so it’s easy to get to the campus xx
Hey, I’m about to start my first year at Northumbria uni in September so I found this really helpful, thank you. I’m going to be doing a psychology degree so do you have any advice for this? Also, do you know which building I’d be in? X
Hi, I’m just going through these comments and I’m not sure why but I never replied to your questions and I feel so bad!!! I actually did a year of psychology before I switched courses so I can definitely help you here - my number one tip would be don’t leave everything until the last minute like I did 😂in psychology you have do lab reports and I would definitely advise starting these well in advance and doing a small amount each day, rather than leaving it all to do at the last minute! I was in the Northumberland building for lab sessions and then for lectures I was in the Northumbria law school building located on city campus east. Hope that helps lovely xx
@@AmyRebeccac hey, it’s okay but thank you so much for the reply. That’s really helpful advice thank you so much. Are the lab reports quite long and complicated to write up? I thought I’d be in the Northumberland building but I wasn’t sure if it was for everything or just a small section so thank you. My accommodation is really close to the law building and not too far from the Northumberland building as well so that’s really good. Xx
@@rosiesmedley7993 aww you’re welcome!
