This match and Foley vs Undertaker Hell in a Cell literally blew my mind as a child and are matches I still go back to every now and then and they still blow my mind.
This match made me a die hard fan for life
This match did put all of those guys on the map. I do feel like Cage has evolved past needing a match like this in order to sell a feud, or a match on a PPV card. As for some constructive criticism about these matches: I wish they were used exclusively to settle feuds, and not for championships.

I started wrestling in 1997. This match WAS EVERYTHING TO ME. It was the perfect example of everything I wanted to be and do. So much so that my style at the time was a combination of Hardys and the Brood. (I had 3 WWE Tryouts prior to 2010) I'm glad CHRISTIAN has had such a long and illustrious career.

I never understood why them being kayfabe brothers was dropped when Christian came back to WWE in 2009.
@@ThunderForce2000 Because their real relationship was more interesting. Wrestling brothers is super common, but two unrelated kids deciding they were going to be WWF tag champs while in middle school and actually making it, that had never happened.
Also the dropped that angle in like 2002 or so.

Christian Cage is an all-time great! He's easily the best heel in wrestling at the moment and I hope he gets a bigger push in AEW. This Christian Cage deserves an AEW World Championship run!
