Home care nurse here. My patients are melting in front of me. You have no idea what I see every single day in the elderly population. Months to heal a simple abrasion… I am convinced more and more it is diet. Most seniors eat the same thing: cookies, white bread, margarine, seed oils, very little meat and few eggs.
I brought up eating more eggs, my 96 year old client said, “I love eggs but I was told they were bad so I leave them on my plate every morning.” You could see the sudden interest and hope come in her face when I told her to eat LOTS of eggs, and butter, meat! Imagine a skinny 96 year old abstaining from eggs because she was “told” they were bad for me. Terrible!!

My aged father's T2 diabetes was cured through diet change. He had all the metabolic issues for many years. When I became his full time Caregiver at his home, I tweaked his diet and his many issues started to disappear. Hospital doctor was confused. Nurses surprised. They took him off all his diabetic meds. He lost 45 lbs, chronic edema went away and neuropathy subsided. Wounds healed. No dementia, etc. He was 89. (2018) Unfortunately, lost him to CV-19, 2 years ago. Could not handle high fever. But, to hear the hospital doctor say, "This never happens..." I told her I had tweaked his diet. She was confused. Dad was on all the metabolic meds since the mid 90's. I strongly believe; if you give the body what it needs, it will heal itself! 😊 I really appreciate the information and knowledge you brave doctors do to help those searching for help and direction. Thank you very much! ❤

Spouse had diabetic food wound that was infected and would not heal. Was afraid of losing toes and more. Came across Ken Berry and other real doctors and learned about proper human diet. Went Keto/Carnivore with spouse and within months the wound started to heal wonderfully and infections and symptoms started to go away.
The wound is now completely healed and foot is doing great! I am 100% certain the foot would not have healed how it did without a proper human diet. It was getting more infected and needing more surgery before PHD.
After learning how it all works it's so obvious and simple now. But at the time it was terrifying and frightening and downright criminal how bad the medical system was at helping us through this.
We're now close to a year Keto/Carnivore and so many downstream diseases from hyperinsulinemia have either reversed or greatly improved. Thank you Ken Berry!! 💪💪

I am SWOC certified LVN, and I used to work as a treatment ( wound care) nurse in a rehab facility. I would CRINGE at the food that the patients were served. It was pure carbohydrate trash, but they would be prescribed Pro-Stat to “promote wound healing!” That stuff is horrible! And then the doctors would wonder why the wounds didn’t heal! Funny downside of carnivore. Have been lion diet since June 1, 2022. This winter I decided to get my ears pierced (they had closed long ago). Kept the ‘trainers’ in for 2 months. Everything great. I read that it’s not a good idea to wear earrings overnight. So I took them out-everything was going well. The next morning I could not get the earring in!! Tried all day and in the early evening went back to the get it checked. My ear has closed completely. Overnight. Had to get them opened again. Not fun. But I very confident now that I can heal quickly if I need to. Great news because seriously, my body is still healing from the SAD and medically imposed drug combinations? I am down to 2 meds from 14. Still getting better every day.

I burned my hand on the grill pretty bad and was preparing myself for a week-long of pain and avoiding warm water and the burning sensation. The next day, I was washing my hands in hot water when I remembered my burn! My jaw dropped that 1. I forgot I had the burn (bc of no pain) and 2. I was using hot water and it didn't irritate it!

In my case it was negligence that pushed me into the wound clinic. I fell (my fault) and the site went necrotic in a few days. Had surgery to remove the dead tissue and 5 blood transfusions. Over the next 5 MONTHS of off and on antibiotics, 2 wound vacs and multiple admissions to the hospital and trips to the emergency room. I can’t yet describe how high my pain level was. 5 months of that pain. I lost a tremendous amount of my hair and all but 4 teeth. I’m convinced I was being poisoned by high levels of infection.

My oldest son is being resistant to the carnivore, he has awful leg sores that haven’t healed in years, they’ve been on his legs since 2017. Please do a short video that I can show him. His patience is too Short to listen to this video, although this video is very good.

Knowing what is being eaten affects basic physiology so the body cannot easily heal itself causes a lot of unnecessary suffering. I hope more people get educated on the subject so they can heal themselves. Liked the link between sugar consumption effecting macrophages negatively. Very insightful.

He hasn't had more than a Tylenol since day 3 after his surgery, and that only a couple of times.

Here’s what has helped me with skin issues. I’ve had severe acne and psoriasis since I was 14 and I’m in my 50s now. 10% of my diet was meat, now it is 80% and I’ve cut out 90% of the sugar. Also cut out most seed/vegetable oils, this has improved my skin 90% and I had zero blemishes on my face for the first time in my life. But still get a few. Keto is most helpful.
Vitamin E helps prevent skin issues and Zinc pills help heal faster. Sometimes I put a damp gauze bandage on an open wound and change every 8 to 12 hours. Antibiotics help a little especially with cat scratches.
I have trouble stopping myself from picking scabs. This makes wounds worse as everyone will tell you. I started very, very gently shaving the scabs off with my razor I shave my face with. This makes the scab smooth and then I don’t pick at it so that helps. Putting neosporin or aquafor on a spot and covering with a bandaid helps a little too.
Let me know if there are any other ideas
