    I have 10t for a month now.. Im very pleased with my device.. I came from realme device so the UI looks the same, since Oxygen tend to recreate color ui recently, I do admire Sd 8+ gen 1, so powerful.. I enjoyed this video. You put it eloquently, if you want the camera go for s22 ultra. If you want the performance and to save some money -in my case- go for 10t.

      I couldn't agree more Ahmed! I'm glad you are liking the 10T as well. I can't tell if there are just a lot of OnePlus fans that are upset about the switch to Color OS and the removal of the alert slider, or if there are actually still software or hardware bugs on many devices that I am just not experiencing--but I feel like the 10T is very underrated at the moment.

    Thank you for the honest to the point review. I'm looking now for a new phone and these 2 are are the top of my list. It's refreshing to see a review based on performance and such and not one that complains about fingerprints, lack of wireless charging, etc. You nailed it. Keep up the great non-biased reviews!!

      @@phonecomp I've decided on the oneplus10t. More ram, newest Snapdragon processor. Since I live in Canada the cost $923 all in. The cheapest ultra 22+ was $1500-1600.

      @@russellmacaw8331 That's great to hear Russell! It is interesting that the only 8 plus Gen 1 powered Samsung devices you can get are foldable--that turns a lot of potential customers off (for now). I hope you keep enjoying the 10T!

      You're right! Reception has been great for me as well Mike. Generally, I don't have reception issues in my area (unless I'm using a device that just isn't fully compatible with T-Mobile), so I don't think about it much. But that can definitely impact users who do struggle in there regions--I should have included it!

    I bought OnePlus 10t recently (128gb). For some reason, the 128gb version was like $200CAD cheaper than the 256gb version. Both were on sale. Really liking it so far. Upgrade from my Samsung A70. Since they weren't adding any Snapdragon chips in their midranges this year (and last year!), I finally decided to ditch Sammy. Only had Sammy's for 6 years all my life

      @phonecomp  Рік тому +1

      Oh wow! I'm glad you're enjoying the 10T, that's a decent change after 6 years of Samsung's. Sounds like a great deal too. I'm testing the OnePlus 11 right now, and I would take the 10T over this device--I might have gotten a lemon. I hope Samsung really improves their Exynos line since they insist on using it more in their A series!

    Hey I am an iPhone 11 user. I am thinking to switch to android. Since iphone 11 was my first iphone. I actually miss the flexibility of android smartphones 3rd party app support and performance is my top priority. Even the battery is not so good after ios16. I am really confused should i go for oneplus or stick to iphone

    • @phonecomp
      @phonecomp  2 роки тому +2

      Hello Gurnoor! Personally, IOS frustrates me for the reasons you mentioned and how they handle notifications. OnePlus is a great alternative, but if you use your mute switch on the iPhone, you might want to go with a OnePlus device that uses an alert slider like the 10 Pro or Nord 2T. If you don't care about an alert slider, you have a lot more options. The OnePlus 10T, Asus Zenfone 9, Samsung Z Flip 4, and a lot of recent Xiaomi phones like the 12T and 12T Pro.

    Hello , here again 😅. Great video as always. Are you using the Exynos variant of the s22? Coz i was leaning more towards s22 (snapdragon) . But now I might just go for 10 t or wait for 11 pro (coz 10 pro has older gen chip) . I would also love to see your take on pixel 7 pro vs maybe OP 10 pro.

      Thank you Utkarsh! I'm using the Snapdragon version of the S22. If you don't need the stylus or the telephoto, I would go with one of the OnePlus devices. The same or better performance with better battery life. I hope the 11 Pro is a great device too! The Pixel 7 or 7 Pro is on my radar for sure. @@phonecomp that's great. Looking forward to your review as I'm thinking of buying the oneplus 11. Your reviews are really good and comprehensive. I don't know if it's available to you or not but Iqoo 9T is better than OP10T and S22ULTRA and OP10T are completely different products targeting different audiences..But yeah OP10T is value for money if you don't care for telephoto (I do though)

    • @phonecomp
      @phonecomp  2 роки тому +1

      Hello Variabledegree! I saw a lot of comparisons to the Iqoo 9T and looked at what it would cost to pick one up in the states, and I just couldn't do it. OnePlus is the only BBK property that has any traction in the US. You can find a fair amount of Realme devices, but carrier compatibility has been hit or miss. Vivo/Iqoo and Oppo are hard to come by. The telephoto is impressive on the S22 Ultra, I just use it for filming my kids at their events, but if I didn't have to have an S22 around for phone comparisons, I'd be happy to use the 10T in it's place.

      @@phonecomp Ya, to be honest, most of the $500 android phones are good enough for 99.5% people.. Just getting 2-4 fps more for spending twice is not a good idea. Not everyone is able to utilise the full features of android flagships and you have got apps with similar functions on Play Store for most of those things. And not everyone cares that much for zoom. With gcam 10T does a decent job. I am not a smartphone gamer so I find myself more inclined towards the Pixel 7pro/Vivo X80(great gamer as well) for this price range (It will get cheaper very soon).where I live, Iqoo is available so I would rather go for that (If only I was a smartphone gamer). Or maybe for proper gaming, go for Rog phone (better display,battery and speakers) as gcam mods are easily available for Asus..

    • @phonecomp
      @phonecomp  2 роки тому +1

      @@Variable_Degree_Series I agree! Phones like the Poco F4 or an Galaxy A73 are what most users probably need in terms of performance. I hope to get a Pixel 7 or 7 Pro test soon and I would love to try an X80 if I could. Asus's phones are really appealing to me. I've never tried any but they look like great devices. Especially the Zenfone 9.

      @@phonecomp Asus never hangs or lacks, same goes for Sony according to my experiences with Xperias and Asus. (Far better than Samsung and apple in those terms)
      Interesting, In my country, the S21fe costs less than (around) $400. So I would skip the A73..Poco F4 is good but Iqoo neo6(Sd870 with better cameras) and iqoo9se(Sd888 with better cameras for $10 more than neo6) are better choices and all come under $350 during special deals that are really frequent. Guess US really has very less choices on Androids..

    • @phonecomp
      @phonecomp  2 роки тому +1

      @@Variable_Degree_Series Those look like much better options. The US smartphone market is weird: 50% iPhones, 28% Samsung, 10% Motorola, 2% OnePlus, 10% others. Basically, if a brand doesn't have a deal with wireless carriers, they don't get market share. Even Google struggles here despite having carrier deals. I am determined to test an Asus and a Sony device before the end of the year. The Xperia phones are just so expensive over here!

      Hello Shoker! You'll get longer software support from the S22, but unless you specifically need any of its other special features, I would go with the 10 Pro. The OnePlus is much more comfortable to hold and battery life is a little better--not to mention charging. The OnePlus Nord 3 is out now though and looks pretty great, also the Pixel 7, I'm currently using the OnePlus 11 and Nothing Phone 1. I picked up the 11 used for $500, Nothing Phone 1 is not a flagship but it is super smooth and clean and I found that used for $265. There are a lot of good options right now.

      Hello The Mrreese! I don't test with performance modes turned on since they are not enabled by default and they result in worse thermals and increased battery drain. I prefer to test the devices the way most people will operate them (with a few exceptions for third party launchers and speeding up transitions/animations in developer settings). I have seen some reviewers who want to max out their benchmark scores who run with enhanced modes active.
